It’s tempting to make a co-creation decision based on what you need from the other person. Can they bring something to the table that I don’t?
But the reality spends so much more time in the realm of:
- Do I know myself enough to ask for what I need?
- Do I know how/when to choose a battle?
- Can I regulate my own emotions and feelings in real time?
- Do I have the self-awareness to learn in partnership with someone else?
- Can you do all of this and still have a laugh?
