SPEAKER_02

And also because I guess we're not really in the position to share or have a lot to say about it. But can I just say before our pars out there tune out, please make sure you stay tuned in because I think this is as much for you than it is for your partners because you need to understand what they're going through also how real it is that what women going through perimetopology go through that these symptoms are real. Unfortunately, not the dumb. Actually, in terms of collateral damage, so you gotta listen in so you can better understand your partners or your girlfriend or whoever it is, that you know maybe might even be your mom. And we can also journey together.

SPEAKER_01

Very exciting. Dahil ito ang most requested topic na mga followers natin sakami ang in yung bang. We'd like to welcome Miss Claudine Vickiera. Yes, she is the founder of ProAge, and she's also a certified menopause coach. Hi, Claudine!

SPEAKER_04

Hi, thank you for having me here. Hey, honor. Hello, na mother kata nigga ang first guest.

SPEAKER_01

Yes!

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. And I think it was like a birthday face. Yes, yes, yes, na sacto. Uh uh. It's a pro-age. I fail at this.

SPEAKER_02

We're not getting any younger. So we gotta, it's better to prevent the right. Right. So we have to start taking care of our skin.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. And then because we keep mentioning perimenopause symptoms, marami nakab episodes in the past, na na bi bring up yon, bitin na bitin yung viewers na min. Kasi alam nami na hindi pa yun yung tampa no, para pa usa pancha extensively. Kung bagami mga pa hapia upalang kami na mga topics.

SPEAKER_02

And also because I guess we're not really in the position to share to have a lot to say about it. But can I just say before our pars out there tune out, please make sure you stay tuned in because I think this is more for you. This is as much for you than it is for your partners because you need to understand what they're going through also. How real it is that what women going through perimetopause go through that these symptoms are real. Unfortunately, not the dama. Actually, in terms of collateral damage, you can't do it. You gotta listen in so you can better understand your partners or your girlfriend or whoever it is that you know maybe might even be your mom. And you can also journey together.

SPEAKER_03

It was not enough that we had to go through puberty. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And how do we accept it, identify it, and embrace it? Right. And learn from it. Kaka sama na tisi claudin. So I would imagine no post coach. Hindi ka yung raamidito sa Filipinas. What exactly is that? Oh, yon, post.

SPEAKER_04

First and foremost. I have to be very clear about that. Kasiya, I don't want them to think na I will replace doctors. I'm not there to do that. So think of me as a bridge between sisterhood and science. So I'm there to fill in that gap. Cause doctors normally, when you come into their clinics, around 15 minutes, the time you spend with them. You can't ask all the questions. So I fill in that gap. I help connect the dots of what you're going through in terms of symptoms. And then help you understand that. And then also help you make informed decisions before you get into addressing all the pain points. And most of all, I'm here to help empower you so that you would know what questions to ask when you do go to your health provider.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Na aka ya pa la. I just turned 41 and I feel like changes sakata wanko. And my go-to person is Atisuzi, who is also just sharing with me the things that she had gone through when she was this age. But then it's also nice to know from someone who can also explain internally. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

What is the age that we're looking at for people that can experience perimenopause?

SPEAKER_04

So now it's getting earlier. What you mean age would be 38? Ah, to 45. So it can happen. So that's peri. Perry. So that's a good 8 to 10 years prior to the actual menopause.

SPEAKER_01

It's 30 marks. 38 to 45 as a beginning point. Beginning point. Beginning point.

SPEAKER_04

It could begin like when you're 44, 45 parent. Uh-uh. And then menopause happens, which I'd like to explain, kasa mys no marsha. Menopause is actually an exact date. An exact event. When you haven't had your period for 12 straight months. So that very menopause.

SPEAKER_03

So dun mum masas sabi nah. Menopause nah. But you're still having it. Peri paren yon.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's post na. So how do you hire? Yeah, we still have your period. That's still peri. Period. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Kasi me iba. Malap it nasil. Tas nakirun ultim. Start ka o le. So in shorts.

SPEAKER_03

And that di ba yung yung term na gina gambe. Filing ko nag me menu pos na ko. So da pakba feeling ko nasa peri menu pos na more up.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay, that's clear. How long can that period last for? Na kunware? Ten months. Kanware wola. Tapus big lang or spotting. If it's spotting, is that already that's not counted. So it has to be a proper period. But when kanwari ka pag spotting, can you already count that as a day one, your period, or hind day?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. The day that it stopped, then start ka nun na man counting for the next 12 months.

SPEAKER_02

Because I have friends who ka nuwari got their period, tapos tapas big lang ng spotting. So, period. Hindi lang shabila period. Is it counted as a period? Do I start counting again day one na baulet? Kasi ng spotting a hour. So what is that?

SPEAKER_04

That's when you start thinking, baka peri me na kos na ho, ka se the first symptom would be irregularity in periods. And it could be a change in the quality also. Like, confirm bama. Like if it's very little or sobrang la kas. Or yung intensity or yung tagal. Like usually you'll have it five days, and then this time bilang three days, lang sha, two days lang sha, or even spotting lang sha.

SPEAKER_01

So still you have. So kilang ba na uso tung peri me na. It's actually new. Mejo di ba.

SPEAKER_03

Panun na parents satin me sang. Hot flashes lang. Correct. Yun na only symptom of yes. Na acknowledged or hot flashes. Yeah. That's it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yun nang na king identity ng benop pos woman na. Right. Masung it ng matang baba. Yeah, yeah. So far, 48 symptoms and counting.

SPEAKER_01

I want you to name them and I want to say, kung or wala. I feel like lahatash.

SPEAKER_04

I start with the common ones or the unusual ones. Common, common. Common ones.

SPEAKER_01

We're talking about it. This is parry. This is parry. No need for that. I mean, because as many as you can imagine. Just like so the people who are watching us who are in that age range, starting from 38 to maybe 45, bah nikg sa start nakai making experience among the same. So they will be like, we mention. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes. Okay, so brain fog. Okay. I get brain fog. I don't think it's probably possible.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Like when I would hear other women say it, I'm like, but now na fe feel ko shang param tulalaka la. The way.

SPEAKER_04

Parang. The way I explain it to my coaches is it feels familiar and yet unfamiliar. Like you. You've been like that before. But this one is different. Middle of like in a meeting, like some of the coaches I've talked with. Black, you don't know what words are then everyone will go, what was wrong with you during the meeting? Uh-uh, uh-uh.

SPEAKER_03

And let's kapn pa podcast. Mars? Mars, are you with us?

SPEAKER_01

Are you with us? Is it brain fog means it's difficult for you to get the information that you want, or you just zone out. Zone out, but find yourself suddenly na palango.

SPEAKER_04

Or you go inside the room. Going into a room and then you don't know why it's a good thing. Oh my gosh. Favorite kyo. And then you go out again, go back again. And you can't do it. That's me.

SPEAKER_02

Or you're message Instagram.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I think might be distractions. Brain fog. Distraction plus Brainfug. Litung lito anasa na kwasino kangikin go. Soi, me brain fog ta yo. Next. Hot flashes. Hot flashes classy. So hot flashes are.

SPEAKER_03

Must be in it malameg.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. So usually pa nama man, it happens at night. Kayanga, there's another symptom related to it called night sweats. Night sweats, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So fresh ka. Pagising mo amui pawis ka. Sakan naki da kaka wisy. Yes. Ganun. Yes. Okay. Basata left.

SPEAKER_02

Then gana kin quarto.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Uh oh. Kasi sa una akop, mak cold flashes. So la mina. Mamini tana nahta kalinko. At some point yan. Pun kununa ku ng pawis nikun naalam kung cold naba hot nabaho per me nice. Basata laga basa. So yon. So. Cold, hot flashes, which is more common. Kasi sam pregnant women, did you guys experience that when you were pregnant? So, yung nag. Little ni nigga. Maybe.

SPEAKER_04

Sabi ni yapas. Maybe. Okay, what else? Hallmark signs. Mood swings. Oh, classic, nice. Okay. And then, of course, irregularity of periods, if we've mentioned.

SPEAKER_02

But mood swings. Feeling ko classic lang sababa eh. Whether or not you're in synthesis, where there are hormones. You could mood swings.

SPEAKER_04

Practice nayos.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, just intense lang yung period.

SPEAKER_04

So again, hormonal yung. Sensitive bad. Easily offended. Triggers. There's such a thing as menopause rage. Rage.

SPEAKER_01

Term shafort. Carens. I'm sorry. Hindi kasu sa states yungta carroens. Carens. Yung na gwawa na sa groom. The carens. Ting na nyu age range nungga ta o na yun. Ting na nyung video na kung palaga nyo ang age sila na kasu ma.

SPEAKER_02

I am so sorry for the husbands and for the party. Smally rage. Yeah, yeah. I guess this is also why it's roughly an age where a lot of marriages fall apart. It's true. Correct. Because if the husband doesn't understand that their wife is going through this, you can't do it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. Super outside of it, tasparang bata.

SPEAKER_03

Is there a way to like at least try to lessen the symptoms? Yes. Kasi parang for me lang. Or it's something na parang na ging metroma kalang na. Or nagawa kung baga parang sikoro, it started to be this way, na triggered by menopause or perimenopause and then na ka sa na yung mogalang. Yung parang na ging go-to reaction mona lang sha every time you're triggered. Pero data yi di ka ganun. So what approach do we do as women to lessen that or to at least catch it? Na, ayo muna mm ng mka control ka ng emotions. So yung magdi dikta just because something is happening in your body. What can we do? Or are there supplements that we need to take? How can we help that question? Right. Exercise.

SPEAKER_04

First is awareness. When you're aware, you're trying to weigh. Is this rage because of menopause or it's just me? So pag me awareness ka.

SPEAKER_02

Is this rage?

SPEAKER_04

Or is it like a money?

SPEAKER_05

Or is it my kids? Or do you want to do it?

SPEAKER_04

In our talks, we always say you know yourself best. So you know something's really off. I don't feel like myself anymore. So when that happens, yung connecting the dots, I help you connect the dots. And then you have a regular period. And how old are you? And then does this happen and that happened? So, in terms of managing it, I won't go into each one. Kasi I don't like to geek out. So yes, movement is one. Kasi ng mum move ka. Your thoughts are focused on other things. Which unfortunately goes down once estrogen starts being erratic in terms of the level. So trying to compensate by working out. Tapa shampre proper nutrition is one pillar also.

SPEAKER_03

So an dapa takinaka, I saw in one year, nga lang sinabin Susie, you need more protein talaga.

SPEAKER_04

Again, because muscles would naturally start to waste atrophy, not just because you're growing old. I hate that. When people say, ah, that's happening because you're growing old.

SPEAKER_05

No.

SPEAKER_04

It's hormonal. Kasi the muscle would start to feel like I am not needed walang movement, while existing training. So atrophy becomes smaller. So vibration and rest. Rest, not just rest. Rest is different from sleep. Sleep is at least quality seven to eight hours of sleep. That's what it is. In our dreams.

SPEAKER_01

No, if I don't have work the next day, I'm able to hit like that. Insomnia happens. When I first started to experience that, takang taka hook says, So takang taka ko. And then that was during the time also that hindi nakabi pung paso every day. Nag they take turns kame. So a good friend of mine says, from full-time moms, sa biya alam sozi, gawin mo, am sure nag po yat ka, pak alamung the next day walakang pas. Gawin mo ang tulug mo same time pa day as sleep may pas the next day. And that is one. And it did help to do that. Paramagging mas regular shop. I started taking melatonin also. Melatonin, I'm not going to be able to do it. So 345 na umga. So kumma tulugako ng alas dosi, a la una. I'm working with two hours of sleep, three hours of sleep. It was one of the most frustrating symptoms that I ever had. Oh, I hate super crazy.

SPEAKER_02

I value sleep so much. If there's one thing that I might be experiencing, I think it's that. Really mung hard times. So that's why nak ma magnesium. If I wake up at 3 a.m. If I wake up at 3 o'clock, from 3 o'clock until 5 or 6 a.m. Pada hung. And then um that lang yung brain. I'm already thinking about what I need to do that day.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's called the 2 a.m. and the 3 a.m. club. Yung talagang time for some concepts. So when estrogen goes down, cortisol goes up. So you wake up earlier, but I'm feeling because oh wake up now, apparently it's only so how do you fix that, Miss Crede? Like what Susie said, you have to have a routine. So lights off, you have to count when do you have to wake up? So parents try to sleep earlier than usual. And then supplements would also help. Ashwagandha. How's ashwaganda? Ashwagandha would help also. Plant estrogens like ashwagandha, like la kohosh, like soya isoflavolones, those are actually plant estrogens. So what they do if you take them, they mimic the effect of estrogen in the body. Nice. So we need that, right? Okay, and same with magnesium glycinate, it's a calming mineral. Yes. So also melatonin. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yung black kohosh. Kasi yung pro age, clodina yung extra chang community. Right. Advocacy nya talaga. And then decided that it's a good thing for us to have skincare that's meant for perimenopause and menopause skin. At mere black kohosh dun sa i yung supplements, no. Ah, yes, the perimenopause gummies. Yan, yan, yen. That one, when I gave to my friend, because would give us sample. And I gave to my friend, nigg starts. So after nung sample bin na geko sakanya, she started buying that already.

SPEAKER_04

It doesn't just have a black hovos per se. It has other plant estrogens, plus magnesium glycinate, plus vitamin D3, plus vitamin B, everything that we start losing as we go through the transition.

SPEAKER_03

We're so fortunate to have these things available to us. Can you just imagine our moms?

SPEAKER_01

Our moms, our lolas.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Yes. Or nasila enangba e it. Or you mgalola.

SPEAKER_01

Na pota asibay letas parang galitzila lagis.

SPEAKER_02

Or was it even this intense back then? Has it only intensified because of the quality of food that could be questioned or lifestyle and the environment? Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Like social media.

SPEAKER_01

They get the vitamin D, which we are lacking so much.

SPEAKER_02

Because it wasn't such a big deal then. Right. If it was, I'm sure women of that time would have been what's happening to us, but I'm thinking there must have been something that has happened along the way.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think twofold that one, plus also culturally, women were taught to just bear with it. Even your mom would tell you, ask her, did you feel at all ganyang ganyan?

SPEAKER_03

Um, my mom would be like frozen shoulder.

SPEAKER_01

Yung mom.

SPEAKER_03

My mom would be like, but I remember there was a time, hi mom. Yeah. She would easily get upset over small things. But now her patience is longer, and whenever we would like laugh about the things that she used to get mad about when we We were younger. So you can't do it.

SPEAKER_04

Over you in your teenage years. Yes. So yeah, all the more forced versus the boom shy. Oh my god. And the thing is, I learned this from Lin of She Talks Asia. She has this great article. Sandwich ka taking care of the household. Sandwich ka Taking care of your parents. And then going through your perimenopause. Imagine juggling all those.

SPEAKER_03

Taking of your parents. Addressing the needs of your husband. Your children.

SPEAKER_04

So param, which comes first? Estrogen and progesterone. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They start fluctuating. What is the difference between estrogen and progesterone?

SPEAKER_04

Because estrogen. Estrogen, think it, so talks. One of the speakers, Sisi Marilen, I'll mention her. Lifestyle coaching. Estrogen is the extrovert sister. Progesterone is the introvert one. So estrogen is the one that makes you go, go, go, go, go. And then progesterone is the one that says, So when that goes out the door, so na walana ni yung pagiging engaging and happy personal estrogen.

SPEAKER_01

Na walana rin yung pagiging kal mamo.

SPEAKER_04

So brung negative no. So parang sila yung conductors orchestra big lang si estrogen sinab. I don't want to show up anymore. But the instruments still play. Pero walana harmony. So that's what happens with the body.

SPEAKER_05

Ganong.

SPEAKER_01

And is there a way? Yun katuri sensa. Or is hormone replacement therapy something that's more accepted now than it was before? How safe is that also?

SPEAKER_03

Kasi na ka issue sung HRT, but the other thing, is it expensive?

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Ahu ka se informed decision, I'm on BHRT now. That's bioidentical hormonal replacement therapy. That's different from traditional HRT. Now you're right. Kasi we've been in the 90s when they came out with a study that says that it might cause cancer. But now it's been proven it's a flawed study. Kasi, it was done on a group of women who were already post-menopause. So walanang mgagawa in terms of yung estrogenila. Kasi meron din shang health benefits when you take the HRT. So now they're in the process, or I don't know if I could be wrong. Natin natang black box warning. That's on the HRT. Oh, that's major. Yo, and so once that's out, nah. So options, like what I did, informed decision again. I opted for BHRT. Cause you could also use the ones from pharmaceutic. But the reason why BHRT compounded, so when they see the levels of your hormones, they will manufacture whatever.

SPEAKER_03

So it's a customized treatment. Correct. You can't just like say it. I think I have this, I'll go to the drugstore and buy the things over the counter. In the customized shape.

SPEAKER_01

So that means you need to get your levels checked every so often, every blood, every few weeks.

SPEAKER_04

It depends on the doctor. Kasi, for one, ng symptom-based. But if you really want to be more tailored fit, yung pause. That's when you need all those tests.

SPEAKER_01

At some point, it's very expensive.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, mahalyung. That's tridurine test for hormones. But then it's very expensive. That's why it's not done in a lot of clinics. These are the things I need. Again, tama kai. Even during the day ngabago yung levels of course. Oh, din. Special liquidisol. So my tang way to get it, tang time to get it, k nyang. But still, at least my benchmark. Yeah, yeah. Before you get into HR.

SPEAKER_02

How often da pating pang check ng 11? Is that every year?

SPEAKER_04

Like akokase, I've been, I'm now in my sixth six months now, I'm taking DHRT. So handling that every four months. I've been in and out. What kind of doctor do you go to? Okay. Shampre, you still need to talk with your OB. Okay. And that's very important. You look for an obhetic with what you're going through. Because sadly, OBs who are dismissive. Kasingasila, their main concern is reproductive. Not more of like what you're talking about after. So in my case, kasinga hormonal. I went to a holistic clinic. They also handle all hormonal imbalances, even for younger women. So centro hobba. Yes, Central Holistic.

SPEAKER_03

And I am yet to visit her soon.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we should all go.

SPEAKER_02

I've been wanting to.

SPEAKER_04

So Dr. Francis. Yeah, Doc Kenzie. Doctor. So Sila, they will explain to you. And sometimes also my overlapping ka se of symptoms with other conditions. Like if you have a thyroid condition. Some of the things, akalam symptoms of perimeno, problem with your thyroid. So that's one of the things they also look at. Uh-uh.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. So what about the other symptoms? That's present. Kasi dryness. Dryness rework.

SPEAKER_03

Correct. Recently yung pinag da ananko, Mars. Itung ganito ho, so makit chain nerves. Hangang dito, hang dito. So I'm like first time katong nara na nag. Kasi inflammation. Papas dun yung. So I went to a physical therapy. Therapist, kasi. Pero nagglan wakunang pekal ball, which I normally do. And then, on ting saket so hilo, and then another day I played yun numalana. It was so bad. Na pay rang sa biko, first time kung marana san to sa bongbu hai. And you know, ang komaso is not. Nung si nabi mo aate dun sa 40th birthday. Ng estrogen bumababa. And I'm like, this is that. What's happening to me? Because even VJ was like, what is wrong with you? I'm like, I don't know. Mars diya kung sa gabi. I needed to take painkillers. Because I can't sleep.

SPEAKER_04

When estrogen goes on, that's an anti-inflammatory. Lord, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Nag teenager, na nga nak na.

SPEAKER_04

The funny thing is, ng estrogen, it's on its highest prior to pair men, because kasi yun dinagbi bring out ng pagin nurturing natin. Because that's what we need while we are taking care of the church. Or child bearings. Unapologetic. That's right. Unapologetic. Actually, for some women, pa ng period of clarity for them. Na, all along, I've been taking care of you. Yes. Where am I? Yes. But you nag another behavioral concept, yeah. More often during very manophobic.

SPEAKER_03

And I think in your 40s, that's when there's something shifts in you na param. I'm done taking care of all of you. I'm thinking of myself. I'm choosing myself first now.

SPEAKER_02

Kashkuladin, so ka paag buntes bata asang estrogen? It varies.

SPEAKER_04

Kasi iba ring yung needs ng buntes. Kasi mara rang hormones for milking and all that. But then we changes hormonal level.

SPEAKER_02

So, you know, you can't do that. So, nurturing, I'm like, oh, is that why? Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Just hormones pay. Naturally, gno kala. No. I know.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So, hormones. Yun na acknowledge ko na initi nyo ko before I get my period. And of course, when I experience perimenopause, also I'm still experiencing perimenopause, niggas magnify kasi yung. Right. Na, I was telling Camille numa baskame one time. And I was sharing gratefulness ka that my husband has remained so patient with me. Tas na yango one time. Nah, sina ja na kwanto ola toi Camille. Na sabiko, one time bah ho galing sa taas, si palo sa onda sofa, tas makino kwento osa andya bagungha. Tasang sa ya sa na kwa saka nya da. Oh my gosh. There's my girl!

SPEAKER_00

Sabiya! I missed you!

SPEAKER_01

I missed the happy Susie. Oh my gosh, I'm tiny. I felt that because I already knew the concept of berry menopause. I wasn't in the dark about this. I knew that a lot of the things I wanted to say. I knew it. To keep the peace, I know that it's just my hormones. I yung awain yo asawa for no reason. But my face couldn't hide it. Couldn't hide it pala. He could see a gloom over me, a cloud over me. That changed my whole personality. It really wasn't me anymore. And it's been such a long time. Ma yung kunang na ru recognize na rin ultion sariliko. When Paolo said that, na, I'm always so boisterous and springy and happy and kita kun time talagang ho just because I don't want to say exactly what I'm thinking. Gaz non, pero kasilang aware guluto atwala shang mahi nat ng kasi alam kung hormones ko lang sha. But my face could betray the nung face.

SPEAKER_03

Not only your face saying, But at least kung bagan dun yung awareness that hid mo sha kailahang ilabas. Yes. Oh na namda man nila, pero at least na dun parin yung. You weren't just, you know, throwing words out there or emotions na mergapaga na la bas munalang just so magawam mosha or thinking nah, intin ding nyo kase ka yung kayato ma an dito sa gali. But it's not like that. It was still very selfless of you to do that in spite of going through the tribe.

SPEAKER_02

I think Pao just knows you so well. Exactly. I mean, maybe if it were to someone else, baka kay map itago, pero pao king.

SPEAKER_01

And because he's a good guy. Hindi sh, hi pao. Hindi shapol. Hindi shaba ipana makagan te. Biba kasi na kaka inis yung me kasa makang nun sabahina. I don't sign up for this one. Who's this lady? Pero kaya yung information of the person who is trying her best. Na wang ilabas lahat ng gusun yang sabi, and then what? A chaka for you guys who are watching us, na itun pinag dada ananami mga girl, sabi kong Ivan me nina. Nabika nagsaya saab mo kasi. Na homars. Gus malaman mo. Na mga 30% lang nagusun yang toto ug sabiin sa yang si na sabi na sa. Pigil na pigil yang sawa. It could be worse. It could be worse. And it's really so hard. So thank you to the partners who have stayed with us because I think we know people who have separated in this time of our lives. Because, like you said, na karun silang. We I don't have to take this anymore.

SPEAKER_04

Aside from the symptoms we've already discussed, kasama payan depression. Anxiety. Anxiety. Panic attacks. Yes. Panic attacks. Yes.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Worry. She na gaka. Ken na you worry about the future.

SPEAKER_04

So panishan. Like you're not able to sleep. So nayon bay. So stress. And then hyper say is very common. Gird. Oh my god. That's great. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Everything. So, you can do it. Feeling target killat ng 48.

SPEAKER_03

But heart palpitation. Because she mentioned that. Normal buttons.

SPEAKER_04

Palpitation struck.

SPEAKER_03

Kasi batang. Yes, parang means done. So parangata E.R. Bato o eba anubba. But it's not a good thing. Kasi kun. Pasa pagabers. Pato log.

SPEAKER_01

Yan, gird, yan.

SPEAKER_03

Feeling koa. Suma doctors have to. When it happens. What were you doing? Taspara feeling ko. Kira pa minga?

SPEAKER_01

Na kata akat liba?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, kasi pa rang I feel like Yeah. In shortness of breath. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Observe mo. Kasi dal alam ko na gird causes that. So pak kuna rang experien kasha while lying down. Clear. Clear. Kuma ka buggyun dibdipko, uma kita nga isang flight of stairs in my own house, which I do every day, pagyat kun ng pa palpiteta ko. Male kuba na makina laman parin yun sa hormones, at sa paka.

SPEAKER_02

It was an anxiety.

SPEAKER_01

Hindi, iba pa yon. Iba pa. Iba pa yon. Eto physical sha yung anxiety kasi n di ko lam ku sa nga galing it's a n experience. U la wala shon trigger. Pero yon. You were driving. Ah, yung anxiety konwal, which I had never experienced in my life. Kasi ndiko din magatsko ano ibixabina anxiety kasabiko. Nervousness ba shaka si I assume everybody has felt nervous in their lives. Again, familiar, unfamiliar. Dibai palang hindi ibay anxiety. Windi ko alum yun, ndiko yan alam. Alumba na karunan time. Na takot na ta kung magdrive. Asa persona na gbama naho, since I was eighteen. Asa person na ma yabang, na magalinga kum magdrive. Na banga ako twice in one week. Pagduma da anyu motor seclo dito, gma ganunaho. As if I'm a first-time driver. How we two years ago? I nam mwa na overcome. Onti onti nawala akoan choice. So be saanya. Today I felt sixty percent confident. But it's harab na disorient naho. Ganun. Twice in one week. Hayalam means an walahun driver talaga, madaling around driver. Pero tahot na tauto. Twice in one makeba chipuna. Kaya pari pompilagawa yoko makaiba. Habike pao, tahotna tauto magbani otas nira raraho dinang sariliko. You can do this, my god, eighteen years old kapalangalin kaliwa. Kinaha usa k nya sariliko kase, nina nerbiusaho, just remembering it now. Nang ying yung voice ku kasinata tahota usa kanya ole. Pero it came out of nowhere. Why? Affecting something that I've been doing every day of my life.

SPEAKER_04

Deba, why? Because high alert lagging body. So the ko control how your response, how you respond, and most especially and maw like sa palpitations. Like, yung estrogen, again, and daming kasalin na estrogen. It relaxes the vessels. So, fluctuates it loses its elasticity. So, how many feel kamagan on sudden nervousness, palpitations?

SPEAKER_01

Wow. And can you imagine yung people na sweetinalang check? Shortness of pulmonology. What about people who don't have the information, who don't have the money to see a doctor? I mean, I'd rather pay the money for the doctor to tell me wala hang sake. Okay, canapal. Of course, not saying that everybody's okay, bah. But not everybody has the chance to.

SPEAKER_04

When you die, I want to share also to everyone and to you. Number we're going to have well, I'm part of a council of women who's into awareness in midlife. So I can't get into details yet kasi mara mbangulo, but we have started nung March, nung Women's Month, going around LGUs exactly to spread awareness on that level. Yes. Yes. At least union started for them to be aware I'm not going crazy. And daming mga learnings from that. So we're into that. Let's bring it grassroot level.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. So what you guys are doing is really wonderful. Thank you.

SPEAKER_04

Pero we've already registered as NGO for it. So, in any of my interviews, you're the first to know. So, we're a council multidisciplinary council of women from all walks of life. Like two khame wa ka mein coaches, and then there's an Obi who's actually head of menopause department of a big hospital. And then two also podcasters like you who are advocates in well, they have a day job, but as advocates, this is what they do. So eventually we'll get there in the long run. That's our main goal, our main vision. What is your council called? It's uh okay, but parang midlife council for I'm not the brain fog.

SPEAKER_01

Exhibit A. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Women empower.

SPEAKER_03

As we wind down this episode, I wanna ask Siguro para sa mmga pars. How do we want to be supported whenever we are going through or struggling with the symptoms that we have discussed early on? Yes. But Siguro, just to give a few tips. How can you journey with us as we go through this difficult season of being women?

SPEAKER_01

For those of you who asked for this, and na ikita nyun na mana bitin sha, dun sa 48 na symptoms. Siguro mga wala pa' sikuru. Ma eight palang yuna discuss. There's so many things that are going on in our bodies now we don't understand fully. And this is just the beginning of our conversation. I'm so thankful for Claudeen and all the advocacies that we've started before at Tasuito Luikapin with the council for more and more people to understand themselves better. And can you imagine it's better, ma itin dia ng partner, how relationships can stay stronger too. Because it's so important and protected. How many more families can stay together because they're understanding all these hormonal shifts together. Right. Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

And a honoman for the women who are not in their peri years yet and are approaching palang. Enjoy your bodies now. Make the most out of it. Use it the way you can use it now because later on it ain't gonna function the same way, yo. Right, right. It's just the reality. So, you know, maximize its potential now, be good to it now. And you know, who knows, maybe Perry won't be so terrifying.

SPEAKER_01

Or as hard on you as it was for those who did not prepare their bodies, but nourish their bodies well. Now also Claudine, when you started with your advocacy, you also created a skincare brand. That's why you're wearing ProAge. Why did you decide that that's something that the market needs?

SPEAKER_04

It came out of my own frustration. Out there, they're all called and age. So that in itself, negative. They're just this is just for younger women, and you're not allowed to age. So I went the other way. That's why I adopted pro-age. And the needs of women, young skin and women at this point in their lives are different from younger women. Dryness is on the deeper, deeper layer. So we have to address hydration. So this was really formulated from the get-go for women going through this transition because of the lack of products that were meant for them.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes, yes. So this now, I understand because don't worry, I'm not sure. Are your products available now? Or I understand you're going through uh re-imaging ba or something. Again, relaunch, reformulation.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. From straight from me. So, yes, you're familiar now with the old products. I mean, they're good. They're really good. They're really good. I really use it. With everything, with all the changes, parang tayo then we have to go flow with the change with the back. Go with the flow. Go with the flow and changes. Shampre, we have to not reformulate, but come up with better products. So magari relaunch with products that are ang one step na lang. Because I have so many serums. There are three serums. You've seen it. So parang everyone is saying, n dam nginaga, but n dang layering. Correct. So to make it more simple. So one serum that will address all those pain points.

SPEAKER_01

Ah, maganda yeah. So for now, while we're waiting, wala pa muna products available on hold.

SPEAKER_04

For now, kasi I've switched to a new packaging for the best sellers, which is yung plump me up and the ICA. So that one, those two will remain. But the others by August. Yeah. I stopped. But for now, I'm giving it out as freebies when you purchase the ICA. Yeah. ICA is the eye cream. And then plump me up is a great thing. Kasi I want them to resonate to all the women using them. No dirty secrets. Walakan tina taugun secrets at this point. Plump me up is an homage for my friends who push me to go on with the brand. Uh uh.

SPEAKER_01

So you can find those on Lazada. And shop. And shop. And the website. And the website. And then abang nyo yung reformulated renewer products come August or September. Yeah? Love it. Looking forward to it. Thank you, Miss Clini. Thank you so much, Miss Clinton. Thank you. Thank you. I should be thanking you. Oh, Admaran pa'mi matutotunan sayo kaya. Abanguna barrage of questions from her viewers.

SPEAKER_03

So happy. Thank you so much for joining us in this episode. So makita kita wita
