Emanate Love with Emily
Welcome to Emanate Love. Together, we become the difference from the inside out. My work is based on over 40 years of experience, navigating, and winning faster with differences. If you need help navigating difference you have come to the right place! It’s not about being perfect or using a label- we don’t need that kind of limiting language.
My education was achieved at both Boston University (Bachelors) and the University of Southern California (Masters in Social Work). I was fortunate to compete on several teams while at Boston university and I achieved a full athletic scholarship that helped me pay for school.

Respond to Grief (previously recorded Memorial Day 5/25/26)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Memorial Day is a time to reflect and give respect to all that have sacrificed for our country. Honoring loved ones that have passed on is a process.
Join me with 2 guests that have helped me move forward with clarity in my loss and pain - especially on days like this when movement can feel impossible. Annette (lymphatic flow expert from Sweden) and Jacob (cousin and friend), share reflections about family and community.
Listening conversation skills are key when talking about topics such as grief or intense pain. Many listeners have asked me to explain the importance of our words to people traveling through hard spaces. I give key responses everyone needs when people share unthinkable information with us about their loss or pain.
If you need more tools to respond to tough conversations with loved ones about grief - this episode is for you. Honor loss by responding with appropriate empathy.
Thank you for sharing your time with me Sunshine! Your spark is important, You Sparkle!
