Adwoa Wiafe is Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer at MTN Ghana, where she leads Regulatory Affairs, Sustainability, Corporate Social Investments, Stakeholder Management, Corporate Communications, and Commercial Legal. She joined MTN from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, where she sat on the executive team with responsibility for Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs, negotiating major transactions and contributing to petroleum sector legislation. Earlier in her career she worked at the International Criminal Court in The Hague and the Special Court for Sierra Leone, and consulted for the UN Mission in Liberia. She is an adjunct lecturer on the LLM/MA Energy Law program at the University of Ghana School of Law and holds an LLM from Harvard Law School and a BCL from Oxford University.

Angela Wamola is Head of Africa at the GSMA, the body representing 800+ mobile operators worldwide, where she works at the intersection of industry, government, and investment across the continent's 55 countries. Over 25 years she has shaped national digital strategies, directed the Digital Africa Index, convened the Africa Pavilion at MWC Barcelona, and led the smartphone affordability pilots working to close Africa's usage gap, where 960 million people live in coverage but have never gone online. In 2024 she received the Order of the Grand Warrior from the President of Kenya for her service to the country's digital economy. Her focus is also on helping businesses capture the value they create: she founded CaptureTheValue, a community for executives and entrepreneurs who believe impact and profitability go together. 

Doreen Bogdan-Martin became Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on 1 January 2023, making history as the first woman ever to lead the organization.

She drives innovative solutions, global connectivity, and aligns ITU's programmes with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, championing digital transformation for economic prosperity, gender equality, and socio-economic inclusion.

Previously, as Director of ITU's Telecommunication Development Bureau, she advanced the Partner2Connect initiative, mobilising unprecedented funding for Internet connectivity in developing countries.

She co-established the ITU-UNESCO Broadband Commission and initiated the Giga project to connect every school worldwide to the Internet.

Ms Bogdan-Martin holds a Master's in International Communications Policy from American University, Washington DC.

Elizabeth Migwalla is Vice President, International Government Affairs at Qualcomm, where she leads global spectrum strategy and policy work in Qualcomm's participation at the International Telecommunication Union, and coordinates Qualcomm's global multidisciplinary ITU team in pursuit of business and technology objectives for 5G and 6G. 

Hon. Umulkher Harun Mohamed is a Kenyan Member of Parliament, nominated to the National Assembly to represent youth interests. A proud daughter of Garissa County, she is the founder of the Kesho Alliance, a non-profit championing girls' education and youth empowerment in North Eastern Kenya.

Kenechi Okeleke is Director, Regional, Social and Policy Research at GSMA Intelligence, where he leads the delivery of flagship reports including the Mobile Economy, Digital Societies and Region in Focus series. 

He has been a telecoms and IT industry analyst for more than 12 years, covering topics ranging from 5G and AI to IoT and big data. Kenechi joined GSMA in 2014 and holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Benin and a Master's in International Business from Grenoble Graduate School of Business. He speaks regularly at industry events across the globe and provides media commentary on key issues shaping the telecoms and IT ecosystem.
