The Importance of Alignment
SPEAKER_00I feel like as I've gotten older, being aligned or being in alignment or living in alignment has become so much more important to me. Um, and I don't know if that's just wisdom, you know, it's just maybe getting to a point in your life where you start to realize what's truly important versus what's not. But like alignment to me has become the main thing, has completely become the main thing. And my choices and my actions have mirrored that. You know, um, welcome to Nature Over Everything. I am RL Melpika, the E coach. Um, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported this podcast as we get this thing up and running. Um, reviews in any on any of the platforms help tremendously. If I get to 20 reviews on either Apple Podcasts or Spotify, I'll start doing a video version of this on my YouTube page. So just wanted to put that out there. But today we're talking about being in alignment with your body, right? You know, sometimes we we look at alignment and we just think, you know, just things, if we put things in place in our life, you know, whether it be a job or whether it be a relationship, that that's true alignment. But alignment consists of everything because it's all connected. And I think it's imperative that people understand what it means to live in alignment with your body. Now, for me, like I talked about as I've gotten older, it's just become so much more important to me to just be in alignment in every aspect of my life. Um and I and I think everybody's journey is different on how they get there and realize what true alignment means to them. But for me, it has always stemmed from the workplace. You know, since I was probably 13 years old, I've been chasing a dream. You know, it started off with music for me, where music was the main thing. I used to rap, hip-hop, like I felt like I was raised by hip-hop, like I'm just I'm just embedded into the hip-hop culture. Um, it's something that I did very well, and that was the dream, you know. And then, but but what happens is society hits you with this, like it hits you right upside the head and lets you know quick that, hey, look, I understand that's your dream, but that doesn't really follow our blueprint. Like, you are a resource, you have bills, you need to live this type of lifestyle. So, yeah, you can dabble with the music stuff, you can dabble with the dream, but reality's gonna hit you and let you know that you need to be out there in the workforce. So, since I was 13 years old, I've been battling that, and now I'm 44 years old. And um finally, finally, I got to the point where I was just like, you know what? Instead of having the dream as the side piece, as the side piece per se, as the sidekick to the main thing, I'm gonna make my dream the main thing. And that was in alignment. And it's crazy how the universe works because you know, I always used to tell myself, look, I'm gonna build up the side project to a point where it can compensate for the main thing, where it can overtake the main thing. So it'll be an easy transition to quit the main thing, right? To quit the nine to five per se. But it never seemed to happen until I started to realize that the reason it never happened is because I wasn't putting the amount of energy I needed into the into the dream, right? My energy allocation was still going to the nine to five, and it was very difficult to work the nine to five and then have the necessary energy to build up the dream. So the universe, you know, being what it is, be you know, always understanding the moment and shifting and moving mountains ultimately to help you get in alignment, basically helped me out. Because, you know, long story short, I was working in the financial industry, the mortgage industry, and I was working remotely, which allowed me to still allocate a lot of my energy towards the dream, right? And by this time, the dream had shifted, you know, my dream has shifted, but main it's all a similar foundation. But at the end of the day, you know, doing this is my dream, right? Doing uh sharing my light and natural health and true alignment is what I love to do. Sharing that light to everybody out there who may might be looking to transition their life from a health standpoint or transition their life from an energy standpoint. Like that's what I love to do, help help and guide and be a vessel for those things. So, you know, the the financial uh the the mortgage company I was working for basically came up with a mandate that you can't work remote anymore, you're gonna have to come into the office. So that was that was it for me. You know, I said, you know what,
Transitioning from Dreams to Reality
SPEAKER_00I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to compromise my values for a company that I'm not even, you know, doing something I'm not even passionate about. So that was it for me. And making that decision was in alignment with who I am and who I ultimately want to become. And there were sacrifices. Like I was that I had a six-figure job, you know, made very, very good money, right? And decided to take all my energy and put it into this. And, you know, not necessarily starting from the ground up, but nowhere near as stable as the nine to five job, right? But that's ultimately what alignment is. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices that might not be uniform with society, but most importantly, it's uniform with yourself. Because if you don't, it doesn't matter how much money you make, it doesn't matter the lifestyle you live, it's going to catch up with you at some point. And most people, most people end up having regrets because of that. You look at people who have started living their dream later on in life, and with almost the number one sentiment is, man, I wish I would have done this earlier. You know, it's it's the whole fear aspect that stops us from doing that. So, how does that correlate with aligning with your body, right? Because ultimately, you know, when we're talking about the body and being in alignment with it, like how does that correspond? How does these lessons and that story correspond to being in alignment with your body? Well, it's all connected, you know. Um, if you're even if you're in a relationship, right? Um, and it's not for the betterment of you, you know, you're looking to go one way, the other individual's trying to go another way, or you guys might not be quote unquote in alignment with each other, might not have the same values, might not, you know, um value the same substance. It's gonna be very difficult for that relationship to work out because it's not ultimately in alignment with who you are and who you want to become. If you're on a path to become something better and the person you're with is stagnant or maybe not interested in those types of things or don't value that type of lifestyle, it's gonna be very difficult for you to ultimately get in alignment. And once again, we're talking about tough decisions, you know, when it comes to breaking off a relationship or something like that. But at the same time, right, you're not doing yourself a good service if you are staying in that stagnant energy. So for your body, this is how that works, right? Your body was designed a specific way, your body was designed, uh, has a specific design structure and a specific design function. And the way that structure and function ultimately, you know, uh work basically, is through the fuel that that we provide it and the processes that it goes through. So it it requires fuel and it requires rest at the end of the day. So your body, right? Let's just keep it, let's keep it as basic and simple as possible. You have been designed to thrive on fruits and leafy greens. You are a frugivore, right? So your body is designed to thrive in that type of element. And if you're not providing your body the proper elements, then it's not going to be able to consistently, you know, provide you with the functions that it ultimately needs to do, right? So you have structure and function. What is structure? Structure is your physical body, right? You have bones, you have organs, um, you know, that ultimately make you what you are, your skeleton, your your your organs, tissue, all that, right? Muscle, fat, all that, right? That is your structure. And then you have your function, the functions that your body does. Breathing, um, you know, blood flow, right? Your heart, you know, pumping, your lungs, you know, um, expanding and and and regressing, right? Um uh your nervous system, right? All the autonomic element, all the autonomic processes that your body goes through, from bowel movements to urination to digestion, all these different functions that your body goes through, right? Now we on the outside per se, you know, even though it's all one unit, we are in control of the type of fuel our body gets and the type of rest it gets. And that is our um that is our power, in a way, depending on how you look at it, towards the overall alignment and um overall success of how our body operates. You know what I'm saying? So we want to be able to have the best possible structure and the best possible function of our body. Living in alignment means providing our body the proper fuel and the proper rest. Why is rest important? Because ultimately, our body is a self-healing organism, a self-functioning organism. Remember, the autonomic nervous
Understanding Body Alignment
SPEAKER_00system is ultimately what makes your body run, right? You don't have to think about breathing, you just do it. You don't have to think about digesting, you just do it. You don't really think about, you know, having a bowel movement. You start to feel it, and then you do it. Same thing with urination, like that is the autonomic nervous system that is making so many things go on within your body, and then also your central nervous system that communicates throughout your body, right? You don't really have to think about moving your hand, you just do it. You don't think about moving your foot, you just do it. So all of these processes within your body are done really without any anything that you're um contributing to it. Now, the only thing you do contribute is the fuel that you give your body and the amount of rest that you give your body. And with your body being a self-healing, self-revitalizing um unit, it's imperative that it has the proper amount of energy. And I'm I'm trying to keep this as basic as possible. So, you know, when I talk about energy efficiency, this is what I mean, right? It's your body's profit and loss system. And this is why it's so imperative when we're talking about being in alignment with our body. You want to eat the foods that give your body the most amount of electricity, the most amount of energy, and the least amount of digestive burden. So why is that important? Well, digestive burden, digestion in itself is the biggest energy burden that your body deals with. And you do it all day, every day, based on society and the way that we've just been conditioned to eat and how we've been eating for generations, right? Digestion is the biggest energy burden. It's like you're running a marathon, you're running a 5K, I shouldn't even say running, you're sprinting a 5K every single day. That's the type of eating habits we have. So our body is not getting the proper rest. Proper rest doesn't mean sleep. I'm talking about digestive rest. Because digestive digestion is such a heavy burden, we have to allow our bodies to rest. And that's why intermittent fasting is so important. I'll get into that in a minute. But back to the energy efficiency piece. So ultimately, we want to eat the foods with the highest amount of electricity, so we get the energy, the proper fuel that we need. So our body doesn't have to go through multiple processes just to break it down, that cause the least amount of digestive burden. That gives us a surplus, a net per se, of energy for our body to utilize, right? So even though you're digesting, it's not such a heavy digestive burden, right? So you mix that in with the intermittent fasting to where you're you have an eating window of, say, 12 to 8, where you're getting at least 16 hours of digestive rest every single day, and now you have this surplus of energy, your body's getting the proper rest and it's getting the proper fuel. That is ultimately what alignment looks like because your body works very hard for you. Even though the majority of us are eating shitty, we have these diets that are just for the detriment of us from head to toe. Our body is continuously trying to keep itself in balance, continuously trying to come, you know, trying to conjure up different detox events and different healing events just to keep us in some semblance of balance. Because alignment at the end of the day is balance. That's what it is. It's it's truly is balance, and this is in every aspect of life, it's about balance. Right? I talked earlier about you know what society lays out for you and what your dreams and passions may be and how they don't always match, but it's about the balance. So for me, giving up a six-figure job and leaving an industry I'd been in for 15 years and leaving a company I'd been with for eight years to focus 100% on my dreams and passions means I needed to balance out my lifestyle. Right? That's another, you know, another reason we're so excited about moving out of the country to the Dominican Republic in Las Terenas because the lifestyle, the nature-based lifestyle, the fruit-based lifestyle, the less, the lower cost of living, escaping the rat race type of lifestyle matches and aligns with what I'm trying to do from a passion standpoint. That is alignment. When you start putting these things together, you start to realize what's important and what we've been conditioned to think is important. Goes back to the body. What do you see all the time from different nutritionists or um what you see on TV and different supplements, right? They're always trying to push something on you and tell you what you're lacking. But I'm here to tell you when you eat the proper fuel, when the majority of your diet is raw fruits and leafy greens, guess what? There's no lacking anymore. The fruit and veggie fruit kingdom provide
Respecting Your Body
SPEAKER_00you all of the necessary nutrition you need, all the hydration that you need. That is being in alignment with your body. Right now we live in a society, and it's not just American society, it's the entire world that is misaligned, completely misaligned, and our bodies have to work extra hard to compensate for it. And that's the crazy thing. Like, I like to ask this question to people like, what is your relationship with your body? And how much respect do you actually have for your body? Right? Your body is your temple at the end of the day. Like, in this in this incarnation that you're currently in, your body is your temple. Like, your energy, your soul, that's that's beyond that, of course. But in this in this 3D world, in this incarnation, your body is your temple. We need to respect it and treat it as such. So I asked that question: how do you treat your body? Do you respect it? What's your relationship with your body? Because your body is doing everything it can and more to be in alignment with you, to be in balance with you, but what are you doing to help it out? Like if you are eating tons of processed foods on the daily, that's not respecting your body. If you are drinking coffee every day and you're drinking energy drinks and sodas, you're basically spitting in the face of your body, metaphorically. You're spitting in your body's face. You're like, you know, I don't give a fuck about you. If you eat meat consistently, I mean, really eat meat at all, but like, you know, incremental steps, of course. Like if you're eating meat, you are not only disrespecting your body physically, but you're also disrespecting your energy. Because more goes along with just consuming a dead cow or a dead chicken or a dead pig or a dead fish. There's energy energetic ramifications to that. For who you are at your core, that is not being in alignment with your body, nor being alignment with your soul. But that's another podcast. So you have to start treating your body with the same respect that you expect to get. Because look, everything's about duality. Everything's about duality, right? I always talk about my conscious, the conscious choice. Every decision you make, ask yourself, is this for the betterment of me or the detriment of me? No gray area. And that goes in in just with the duality of life, right? As within, so without, right? If your internal terrain is dirty or toxic, guess what the outside of your body is going to do? It's going to manifest, it's going to be a mirror of what's going on in the inside. The way you smell, the way you look, the way you act, your energy, all of those things are just a reflection of your choices. That's the duality of it. And look, we all want respect. Right? We all want respect. But if we want respect, what do we have to do? We have to give it. So we need to start respecting our body. If we do that, we're gonna be in a much better place. We're gonna feel better, we're gonna look better, we're gonna act better, and we're gonna be better. So that's what being in alignment with your body truly is. Now let's take a quick break. When I come back, I'll dive a little bit deeper. Now, some may say, like, you're talking about a frugivore diet that's not realistic, right? And I completely understand that because of where we are as a people, you know, through so many generations of completely detaching ourselves from who we truly are. And what I like to say, detaching ourselves from nature, because that's ultimately what has happened. We have just been pulled further and further away from nature and our natural self, right? So, you know, what I do is I try to help people where from where they're at, you know, and help them make incremental steps. But the main thing is you have to just understand, okay, what does alignment mean? Right? What is the gold standard of diet? The gold standard of diet is the frugivore diet, right? So we want to get as close to that as we possibly can. From a bodily standpoint, we're just chronically dehydrated. Why? Well, number one, most people cook the majority of their food. They're eating nine, 80 to 90% of their foods as just straight cooked food, right? Cooked. And what happens when you cook food? You cook out the water. You alleviate the hydration, right? It becomes
The Frugivore Diet and Hydration
SPEAKER_00a dehydrating food. And remember, your body has to utilize water in so many different so many of its processes, including eliminating digestive waste. So if you're not getting the hydration from your food, guess what? Your body has to pull it from organs and bones and other places. So people become chronically dehydrated, right? And it correlates into so many different effects. You know, a lot of people gain weight because their body starts to hold as much water as it possibly can because you're not getting it from your food. So your body has to hold it. And a lot of people have tons and tons of water weight. That's why when they start going on a hydrating diet, they shed weight so fast. It's incredible. So since we've been conditioned and society has been pushing these highly dehydrating diets on us, like we are chronically dehydrated. So our body has to once again compensate for us. It's trying to meet us in the middle. It's trying so hard to meet us, and it's way beyond the middle. Like it's what's that movie uh Hitch, right? Where they're they're practicing the kiss, and you know, Will Smith kind of leans in or whatever, and then Kevin James just kind of goes and kisses him, and he tells him, No, no, you're supposed to meet me halfway. That was 90. I only gave you 10 or whatever, whatever it is. I probably botched that up, but I think you know what I'm talking about. That's what our body's doing. It is overcompensating for our mistakes, for our choices. And what happens? Well, disease manifests, and ultimately your body runs out of vital energy and you die. That's what happens here. Like you only have so much vital energy. I like to call it your body's battery pack. And while you can replenish, there's only so much you can do, especially if your body is utilizing more energy than you are ingesting, that you are absorbing. That's what that energy efficiency, man. That's why it's so important. Because when you're your digestive burden is higher than the amount of energy you're getting, and that's what happens when you eat meat and processed foods and dairy and cook starches and fish and sodas and alcohol. No, little to no energy, little to no electromagnetic energy. I'm not talking calories here, I'm talking about vital energy, what your body utilizes to replenish itself, revitalize itself, to um conduct its processes, right? High digestive burning. You're using more energy than you're gaining. You're constantly playing from behind, and your body is doing extra just to keep you alive, just to help you survive, because that is the body's only purpose is survival. It is doing whatever it can to keep you in balance. But what are you doing? By your actions, you are doing everything you can to keep it out of balance. So at some point, we got to take that responsibility and meet our body halfway. So, yeah, you just start making those shifts, right? Man, maybe the frugivore diet seems just completely outlandish. And I understand it. I'm not 100% frugivore. Majority, I'm a majority frugivore, right? Um, my day is fruits and leafy greens pretty much all day. And if I do eat cooked, it's going to be plant-based. But the majority of everything I eat is going to be fruits and leafy greens. And people might say, well, that's crazy. It's really not. Because I was where you were. Number one, I used to be a meat eater about a decade ago, right? And then I shifted to just a vegetarian diet that wasn't very healthy, where I ate pretty much all cooked foods. But then I slowly made changes, and then I am where I am today. Like you can do that. And for people for anybody out there, if you're out there saying, man, I just don't want to live like that. That doesn't seem like a uh a fun lifestyle. Well, once again, it comes down to alignment. It comes down to what are your priorities, right? Do you want to transition into older age to where you can actually enjoy your life? Or do you want to be a burden? Do you want to almost live as a crapshoot? Like you don't know what's going to happen. Do you want to live the rest of your life, you know, in the medical system? To where once they give you one pill, one pill turns into three, three turns a six, six turns into nine, and then nine turns into now I'm in the hospital. Like, is that the path you want to go down? And it's also based on these preconceived notions to think that eating fruits and leafy greens as the majority of your diet is not satiating when it's so satiating. And this is coming from someone who used to eat a very bad diet. Like your palate changes. The feeling you get when you eat this way changes. Like you get addicted
The Impact of Diet on Mental Health
SPEAKER_00to feeling good. And then what happens is you're since you're clearing yourself out, not only are you clearing yourself out physically, you know, through detoxing, you're also clearing yourself out energetically. And then you start to become more aware of what the food actually does to you and for you. Because I know when I do eat cooked food, I feel different. I feel a lot different than when I eat fruit or when I eat a salad. And I don't like the feeling. Right? Um, not all the time, but a majority of the time, right? And I could tell, like if I feel a little bit of inflammation come up, or if I feel anything, you know, uh just a bloating or something like that, I know exactly what caused it. Because when I eat the right way, when I eat the gold standard, I feel great. There's no symptom, there's no anything. It's just, you know, I feel good, I feel hydrated. I feel I feel I just feel in a state of balance. So you get addicted to that versus being addicted to such a full feeling, to be feeling um fatigued after you eat, crashing after you eat, or always constantly trying to find some form of stimulation to keep you energized or to keep you up, like coffee and energy drinks and soda and things of that nature. Like we're so, as a society, we're so addicted to these stimulants that ultimately try to take place our natural functions of our body, and then we end up becoming addicted to those stimulants because our body stops producing what it needs to produce because they're so reliant now on the stimulant, the stimulants that we're providing it. Remember, if your body is constantly trying to compensate for you, constantly trying to do everything it can to keep you in balance, and then you're providing it stimulants, well, it's gonna say, okay, well, they're providing me something. I'm gonna focus my energy somewhere else. So, you know what? I'm not gonna create the amount of melatonin I need to be able to fall asleep at night. I'm not gonna be able to create the proper hormones it needs to, you know, keep myself in balance so my mood and my emotions are right. So now you become not only addicted to the stimulants, but almost reliant on the stimulants just to operate day to day. So it's imperative that you understand everything that you do from the outside, everything you do outside of the proper fuel, outside of the aligned diet for your diet for your body is going to have some form of repercussion or ramification. All right, very important. So, and it's starting look, it starts with incremental steps, like just first of all, acknowledging that and understanding, okay, I know I can be better for my body. You know, and I use this analogy all the time. Um, I've probably used it on this podcast before. Um, but we put so much energy and time into you know, where we're gonna eat dinner, like where what restaurant are we gonna go to? Uh, where are we gonna take our next vacation? Um, you know, which house are we gonna buy? What school are we gonna put our kids in? Which car are we gonna buy next? Right, which insurance company are we gonna go with, right? We put all this research, this energy, this time, right? This, you know, we prioritize these things. And it's not to say that they don't mean anything. But answer me this: why don't we put that same energy into our body? How can we justify going to the grocery store and spending more time in the middle aisles, the processed food aisles, than we do on the outside where, you know, the produce section, where we have the living vibrant food? How can we justify that? How can we justify feeding our kids cereals and fruit roll-ups and cold cuts on a daily basis and high C and Capri Suns? Like, how can we justify that? And some people will bring up the you know, well, it costs money to eat, to eat fruits and and and and vegetables. Look, I look it you you're paying for quality over quantity. Yeah, you can buy a box of gushers that'll give you, I don't know, I ain't about I don't even know how many is in a box, but let's just say eight, eight packs of gushers for I don't even know what inflation shit, it might be $20, but I'm just gonna say, you know, $5.99, right? So that gives you eight snacks. When you could buy what for $5.99, you could probably buy two bundles of bananas. Justify that. It
Understanding Disease and the Medical System
SPEAKER_00doesn't make sense, it doesn't add up. And to just imagine what's put into those gushers, like we know that the the ingredient list is extremely long, whereas a banana is a banana, right? That is the ingredient. So making these choices, putting that respect and and that that energy into something that is constantly working for us every day. Energy returned on energy invested. That's what living in alignment with your body truly is. Because right now it's not even. Your body deserves better. Your body deserves so much better. So when you and look, here's the the ramifications that because then we deal with the mental side of it and the emotional side. Because look, high percentage of people are dealing with anxiety, high percentage of people are dealing with depression, high percentage of people are dealing with stress, high people, high percentage of people have low self-esteem, suicide on the rise, all these different things, mental health issues all over the place, cognitive issues, ADHD, autism, all these different things that are happening and growing exponentially, all funnel down to being in alignment with your body. They all funnel to that. Because of the choices we're making, like these are the results. So while your body is trying everything it can to do what it does, it can only do so much. We have to be better. And just look to nature, man. Like, like our closest relatives in nature are frugivores. I mean, we look, we're in a world where like we have the cognitive abilities, the conscious abilities to figure things out. Whereas the majority of other animals in the in the world live off instinct, right? They they they live purely off of instinct, what their natural instincts are. But for us, because you know, through uh and whether this was an evolutionary thing or whatever, I mean, I can't answer that. But the fact that we have the conscious, the ability to make the conscious choices, that helps us sometimes and it hurts us sometimes. Because now we are trying to figure out things that we don't need to figure out when the answer is right in front of us. Man and woman is continuously trying to outsmart nature, and we have to stop that. Nature's here, it's gonna it was here before we got here, it's gonna be here after. And it provides us everything we need, and our answer is right in front of us. Like we know what we need to eat, we know what we're supposed to eat. So, how do we do that? How do we allow ourselves to get back to a natural state, to where we're providing our bodies with what it truly needs, so we're not dealing with these rising terrain-based diseases like cancer and heart disease and diabetes because that's what's happening. Understand that the medical system has pretty much labeled what I think it's 26, something like 26,000 different diseases or sicknesses. 26,000. And there's a purpose behind that because the more diseases and sicknesses, guess what? The more medicine you can make, the more diagnoses, the and whatnot, there's the more money, right? That's kind of the business of that's the medical business. That's the big pharma-based business. And then you correlate that, you connect that with the insurance companies, and it all works together, right? It's a it's a system, you know what I'm saying? But they all funnel to the same thing because there's really only one disease. It's toxemia or acidosis, however you want to call it. It's the same shit. The same thing. In just different parts of your body, because the body is one entire unit, and it all stems from the conditions that you're putting your inner terrain in. We start feeding the proper fuel and having the proper amount of rest, and those things start to go away. On the rest aspect, like it's imperative that you have an eating window and you stick to that eating window, right? I like to, you know, for for ease, I like to say 12 to 8 because that really is the digestive period, the rhythm of your body. Your body goes through three uh basic phases. There's digestive phase, there's assimilation phase, and then there's an elimination phase. So your digestive phase between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. So you want to eat in that window. I like to make it even shorter, 12 to 1 to 6, something like that. Um and that allows your body the proper amount of rest every single day. If you're dealing with something serious, right? If you're dealing with like some serious chronic health issues or even sub-acute health issues, then I would suggest you get on some form of plan to get you to a point to where you can do a long fast. I wouldn't say do a long fast now, right? Because you have to you have to prepare your body for that. If you've been eating processed foods and meats and a bunch of cooked food and stuff, and then you try to do a long fast, that's that's your body's not prepared for that. It is way too dehydrated for that. And I'm not a fasting expert, right? Lauren Lochman would be a great person to go to for that. But what I'm trying to say is this goes back to living in alignment with your body because that's why rest is so powerful, because it allows your body to utilize the energy it has towards revitalizing yourself, replenishing yourself, rebuilding tissue. Proper fuel, proper rest, that is living in alignment with your body. You know, it's how you treat your body well, right? Giving it the proper fuel.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_00If you put nitrogen in your car instead of carbon in your car, it's gonna be a completely different performance of your car. And that's what's going on. And the problem is that we don't even like we're so far away from where we need to be from a health standpoint that we don't even understand what that feels like. So when I talk about some of these things, I try to make it as simple as possible and understandable as possible. And once you start, like if on one of my plans or anything, like I'm telling you, like, you will see and feel the difference rather quickly, to be honest with your body is so it's it's flooded with so many bad habits that when you start implementing the good stuff, like your body's gonna respond very quickly. And it's gonna tell you in its own wisdom and its own intelligence that, man, we want more of this. And you know, don't get it misconstrued, like getting healthy doesn't mean adding foods into your diet, it's more about eliminating than it is adding because that goes back to the rest rest aspect. You know, if you're eating a bunch of foods that are high digestive burden, like you're you're and and dehydrating, you know, you're you're just building, you're just building a terrain that is manifesting this ease, disease within your body. So like alignment, it's so important in so many aspects, and you know, with your body, and and that's not even talking about smoking and and alcohol and drugs per se. Um, I think that is kind of self-explanatory, but it's all on different levels because it's all the same thing. Like drinking alcohol and eating a steak is the same thing, they're both poisoned to your
Alignment and Personal Transformation
SPEAKER_00body. One is a higher level that might have a more immediate effect, but they're both destroying you internally, just at different levels and different rates. Like your body is going to respond eventually. And look, tolerance gets built for both alcohol and foods you're not supposed to be eating. And those foods that you're not supposed to be eating, like that tolerance has been built for years, for generations. But that doesn't mean it's okay to eat. It doesn't mean you have an iron stomach. If you have an iron stomach, that's not a good thing. That is not a good thing. If you're one of those people that, like, man, I could eat anything and I feel fine. That's not good. You want your body to get rid of something that is poison, to eliminate it. Because if it's not eliminating it, what is it doing? It's accumulating it. Right? Your body's basically a food processor. If you look at your body like a house, you have a kitchen, you know, that's where you eat, and then you have a sewer system, and that's where you eliminate. And both of those have to be in alignment. You eat something extremely toxic, what are you gonna do? You're gonna puke, or you're gonna have some form of quick bowel movement. That's how your body should be working. But because of so many generations of eating these bad diets, our body has become um, it is, it has become tolerable. Like we've built a tolerance. Not to mention, you know, in our stomach, our body creates like a um shield in a way, some form of coating to protect it from these acid-forming foods. Because, and the reason I know that is because that's why it's imperative when you're talking about fasting, to make sure that you're on a raw diet before you fast and you're on a raw diet after you fast, because that coating ultimately, you know, you end up losing that coating. So if you start eating acid forming foods, you know, foods. You're not supposed to be eating right after a fast, you can really damage your stomach. So we have to start understanding the difference between tolerance and, you know, what some what they would call gut issues per se. Because you see a lot of people diagnosed with a lot of gut issues, but they only have gut issues because of what they're eating. And because these foods have been normalized in society, they separate these individuals and make them feel like they have a problem, that they have something that needs to be fixed. When in actuality, no, their body is responding to the poison that's being ingested. Whereas the ones who are not are just accumulating the issues and have the bigger issues down the line. I was one of those individuals that was told my entire life that I had that I was lactose intolerant, that I had digestive issues, that I had irritable bowel syndrome, all these different things because I was eating foods I should not have been eating. Yet I was made to feel like I was different, made to feel like there was something wrong with me. When in actuality, there's nothing wrong with me. Because once I started eating the right foods, guess what? I haven't had any of those issues. And the only time an issue like that ever creeps up is if I'm eating something I shouldn't be eating. That tells me my body's actually doing what it's supposed to be do, what it's supposed to do. It being sensitive to poison is a good thing, not a bad thing. And if you're not sensitive to those things, that's letting you know that there's probably a pretty heavy accumulation of these things that are going to manifest in some form of dis-ease within the body at some point if you don't make any changes. So, I mean, alignment is it should be something on the forefront of your of your life. And I'm not just talking with your body, even though that is kind of the core of your body as your temple. And remember that if your body is not working, it doesn't matter where you live, it doesn't matter how much money you have, it doesn't matter what relationship you have, it doesn't matter what job you have, it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive, if your body is not right, it's not gonna matter because you're not gonna be able to enjoy life. Start here, start from the core and build out, and you'll see how your entire world changes. As within, so without. So you're not stressed, you're not dealing with anxiety, you're not depressed, all these different different issues, right? And you're not flooding your body with a bunch of chemicals that are messing with your cognitive uh you know competence. All of that matters. It starts within. You'll appreciate things, you'll appreciate nature, you'll appreciate the energy that you receive from other people. You'll appreciate beautiful, you know, things like trees and the weather and simple conversations because you're not bogged down in so many different ways and so imbalanced to where your emotional state, your mental state, you know, is is just not level enough for you to actually enjoy life. So that's why alignment is so important, so imperative. And, you know, I'm I my life is in alignment, it's getting in alignment, it's it's getting to where I ultimately want to be, and I'm unapologetic about it because I bet on myself. I am doing something that while most people think I'm crazy to do by picking up and leaving, you know, the company I was with, a six-figure job, they thought I was crazy for doing that. They think I'm crazy that I'm picking up and leaving uh, you know, 1.3 acre property in in the heart of Texas to move out of the United States and live in what they deem a third world country. You know, they think I'm crazy for that, they think I'm crazy for homeschooling my daughter, they think I'm crazy because I'm you know taking my daughter to the Dominican Republic, all these different things. But I know it's in alignment, and I don't care what anybody says. Because just like with my diet, because they thought I was crazy for doing this, for living a fruit-based diet, for not getting jabbed, for all these different health choices that I've made, for not having health insurance, for not going to the doctor every year, for not uh what do they do? What do men do? Um not going to the proctologist, you know, all these different things, right? Not doing any of that. They all think I'm crazy, right? But then what happens is this was what's crazy about this. A couple years, they start to see the effects, they start to see how my life is, and then they start asking questions. They get curious. I can't tell you how many people that told me I was crazy to my face, or didn't support, or kind of looked at me with a side eye, have come around, have asked for advice, have asked for coaching, have asked for uh plans to help them in their current situation, and are now starting to kind of gravitate to a more aligned lifestyle. Cannot tell you how many people do that. And for you, understand that look, when you make changes that are in alignment for you, number one, that's all that matters. Don't worry about what anybody else says, but know that the support at first is probably not gonna be there because a lot of people have resentment for people that make changes that they know they can't do. But over time, when they see you happy, when they see you living your aligned life, they're gonna get curious. And then, you know, they'll probably follow suit, they'll look at you as an example. And some people can't do it, and that's okay. This might not be their time, but don't allow the outside world that is built to hold you down and conditioned and indoctrinated to look at things differently. Do not let them stop you from becoming the best version of you, the most aligned version of you. And I'm very candid when it comes to that. I'm very um descript and very serious when I say I don't care what the situation is, I don't care if you have been with your partner for 22 years and you got three kids. If that individual is not in alignment with you and not in alignment with who you want to be, and holding you back from you becoming the best version of you, then you need to be working on an exit plan. Or at least be able to communicate that with that individual and let them know that, hey, look, this is where I'm going, this is where I want to be. Are you for that or against that? And then make your decisions off of that. Because you have to put yourself first, and your body, your internal terrain, that is the temple. That's where it all begins. So, back to that question: what is your relationship with your body? Do you respect your body? If the answer is no, and if the relationship is not good, that's where you need to start. That's where it begins, and you will see your entire world change.
