Amy Ulmer discovered Pilates through physical therapy for a back injury. She immediately fell in love with the emphasis on mobility and body connection. She believed in the principles of movement so much that she decided to get certified and has been teaching for nine years. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, including those recovering from injuries, professional athletes looking to enhance performance, and individuals seeking overall wellness.

She is dedicated to helping others experience the transformative benefits of Pilates.

Dr. Hucke owns and operates Jax Beaches Family Dentistry in Neptune Beach, FL. The Practice has been a part of Jacksonville, Florida, for decades. 

Dr. Michelle DeFelice Hucke’s passion for dentistry came from growing up in her father's New York State dental office. After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, she returned to her hometown and worked with her Dad for many years. She later served patients in St. Augustine at St. Johns Family Dentistry, which she co-owned with her husband, Dr. Ron Hucke. 

Dr. DeFelice Hucke maintains her love for and tradition of great dentistry and works constantly to stay trained and experienced with the latest dental techniques.

She is an active member of the North Florida Dental Association and various business networking groups. She currently lives near the beach and enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters.

Kashmirr Elkin has been a Jewelry Professional at Blue Water Jewelers since 2021 and is currently working toward becoming a GIA Graduate Gemologist. She loves helping clients find meaningful pieces and especially enjoys working with couples to create their perfect engagement ring. Kashmirr also brings her creativity to Blue Water through social media and product photography.

Nicole Nettles is the owner of Blue Water Jewelers in St. Augustine, which she and her husband Robert founded 20 years ago. This year is especially exciting as they celebrate Blue Water Jewelers’ 20th anniversary! Nicole has spent the last two decades building Blue Water into a trusted local destination for fine jewelry, engagement rings, custom designs, and meaningful pieces that become part of her clients’ stories. She’s also excited about the next chapter for Blue Water Jewelers and the upcoming move to their new building in the 312 Bridge area of St. Augustine, Florida.

She’s a Fortune 500 executive, former college athlete, and Army leader who completed three deployments before building a successful corporate career. She’s also the mother of two daughters, who occasionally make appearances on my feed.

Because of her current executive role, she keeps a low public profile, so you’ll hear me refer to her as Petite & Powerful. I name a lot of my friends this way: I may have signed up to put my life on the internet, but they didn’t.

She’s known me through multiple chapters of my career, entrepreneur, corporate executive, CEO and now What I Expected, which made her the perfect person to turn the tables and interview me for this two-part series.

Sara has spent the past 18 years at WatchTime Magazine, living & breathing the watch industry through the magazine and its in-person events across the country. She holds a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire and has loved shiny things since she was a little girl trying on her grandmother’s jewelry. The watch industry wasn’t initially on Sara’s radar as a career path, but that changed in 2008, when she was recruited to join WatchTime as Advertising Director. She became Publisher in 2015 and, in 2026, expanded her role to include Operations Director. Over nearly two decades, Sara has built deep relationships across the luxury watch industry and has played an integral role in growing WatchTime’s advertising, partnerships, and live events. She is particularly passionate about bringing people together through experiences that celebrate watches, craftsmanship, and the culture surrounding the industry.

Sara lives in Florida with her husband and their two sons.

I have a passion for helping women navigate aging hair, including thinning, hormonal changes, loss of density, and texture changes. I create customized solutions that restore fullness, movement, and confidence.

I believe great hair can boost confidence, but genuine connection can change someone's day. After 40 years, that's still my favorite part.
