What I Expected
Real conversations so you know what to expect. What I Expected is a podcast for women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s about what to really expect—before you experience it.
So much about life has changed since your grandmother's day, and the advice she passed down doesn't always fit the world you're actually living in. Think of this as that same wisdom, updated for modern life: your toolkit for the purchases, the changes, and the moments you wish someone had prepped you for. What to ask and what to plan for before you spend your money, your time, or your peace of mind.
Host Holly Bohn Pittman, a former CMO and CEO who knows marketing spin when she hears it, talks with experts and women who've been there. It's not a lecture. It's the advice you'd get from your closest girlfriends, minus 47 unread messages: honest, no-nonsense answers and zero pressure to keep up.
New episodes every Tuesday, from buying guides and first-time experiences to perimenopause, menopause, and the harder moments no one prepares you for. For women who'd rather hear it straight from a friend than find out the hard way.
What I Expected
Before You Buy Fine Jewelry, Part 1: Diamonds, Lab vs. Natural & What to Know First
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you ever wanted to buy a diamond or another piece of fine jewelry, but felt like you should already know what you’re doing before you walk into the store? This episode is for you.
I sit down with Nicole Nettles, owner of Blue Water Jewelers, and Kashmir Elkin, an engagement ring specialist, to talk through the questions people actually have before making a significant jewelry purchase. We’re keeping it practical: no gemology degree required.
We get into lab-grown vs. natural diamonds, what really affects sparkle, why cut matters, how carat weight can be misleading, what to know about resale and upgrade policies, choosing a setting that fits your lifestyle, and why seeing a diamond in person can matter more than the grading report alone. We also talk about self-purchasing, traveling with valuable jewelry, and a few expensive mistakes buyers make when they don’t know what questions to ask.
This is Part 1 of Buying Fine Jewelry, because as with watches, there was far too much to fit into one conversation.
In Part 2, we’ll get into buying jewelry online, metals, and why having a relationship with a jeweler can matter more than you might think.
What I Expected is about knowing what to expect before you buy it, try it, book it, or live through it. Some conversations are about the things we choose. Others are about the things we never expected to face.

Intro
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Welcome to What I Expected, the show that sets expectations before you buy. My website and social channels compare real life experience to marketing promises. But think of this podcast as your decision-making toolkit. What to ask before you spend your money, or your time, which is your most precious possession. Think of it like advice from a close circle of girlfriends, minus the 47 unread messages. At What A Expected, you'll find friendly standards, sensible expectations, and feel zero pressure to keep up. Today we're talking about buying jewelry, especially diamonds, and that first real purchase.
Meet Nicole Nettles & Kashmirr Elkin
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)We're with Nicole Nettles, owner of Blue Water Jewelers. Welcome, Nicole. Hello, welcome. Thank you. Also joining us, we have Kashmirr Elkin, business manager for Blue Water Jewelers. Welcome, both of you. So let's just get right into this. Nicole, for anyone who doesn't know you, tell us who you are, what Blue Water Jewelers is, and how you got into the business.
Nicole NettlesSo my husband is a watch repairman by trade. His technical name is a horologist. And so he started doing watch repair. And then in 2006, we decided to open our own business. I always wanted to own my own business, um, entrepreneurial spirit. Just had no idea the road would take me down the jewelry store road. How many, wait, you just said, how many years? Repeat it for me. So 2006, we opened. So this will be year 20. So we celebrate 20 years this year. I know it's wild.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Yes, exactly. You're grown up. Well, this is why I trust you for this episode. Also because I know you personally, but I didn't know that about Robbie. So that's interesting.
First Fine Jewelry Purchase
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)So why do you think jewelry feels so intimidating for first-time buyers, especially women buying for themselves?
Nicole NettlesYou know, this is really interesting because this is something we've noticed in the last five to 10 years. More women are self-purchasing more than ever before. And I think it's because so many are in the professional world and they want a way to treat themselves when they reach these mile markers. And so when they come in, either they don't know kind of how to gauge the expectation, and everything else is hands-on. You walk into a clothing store, you can pick up a pair of shoes. You walk into a boutique, you can see, is it a $50 pair of jeans or a $250 pair of jeans? And a jewelry store, everything's locked up, which is intimidating. There's no way to touch it, check it out without actually going to somebody and having them help you.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Yeah. And the first, when my first company was on Oprah's O list, I remember the first thing I did was go to a jewelry store and I bought myself a ring. Exactly. It is something that people do. Um, so what I what I hope today is that anyone listening, we're gonna break this into two parts, but I hope anyone listening, you don't need to become a gemologist. We just want to give you a few guardrails that make it easier to so you feel empowered to make that that big purchase. So let's start with a
Natural Diamonds vs. Lab-Grown Diamonds
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)big one. This is one that has been top of my mind. Yes. Lab grown versus natural diamonds.
Nicole NettlesTell me all about it. So I'm gonna let Kashmir hit this one. Just she's actually going for her GG, her gemologist degree, and she's really good at the technical.
KashmirrSo, I mean, the big thing is just kind of point of origin. So lab grown are made in a laboratory, they're mass-produced, they're in different parts of the world, China, Russia, um, the Ukraine was a big place that were making a lot of lab grown diamonds. And natural diamonds are from the earth. So they've been being created over millions and billions of years, and it really is just kind of origin. And then next uh next point is price. There's a huge difference in price.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And can you tell the difference when you're when someone brings in a diamond? How can you tell the difference?
KashmirrUm, the first thing is that if it looks too perfect, it's usually a lab grown diamond. Um, if it's big and beautiful and perfect, but there it's a heart very hard to tell the difference. Um, most lab grown diamonds are gonna have an inscription on the girdle. So that's a really big point into identifying a lab grown. Okay. Um, but it's getting harder and harder to tell the difference.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay. So so if budget is a concern, a lab grown isn't necessarily a bad option.
KashmirrNot at all.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay.
KashmirrNo, not at all. No, I think it's um whatever fits best in your lifestyle. If I want a two-carat diamond for my engagement ring and I don't have two carat budget, I'm not gonna push myself into getting a natural if that's something I really want. Um, but I think it's just whatever fits best for you.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)I've noticed some people that will have that have a really large stone and then they will have another one because they feel nervous traveling with you. Yes. And so I know in my particular instance, I had a real diamond before, and this one is a lab grown. Um the ring is from you guys. Yes. That's all real, but I think the um the anniversary. Yeah, yeah, yeah, is lab. So I know that was like an issue for me is I just don't want to feel nervous. I don't want to feel, I don't want to worry.
KashmirrAnd some people, it's really like, you know, what you care about for my engagement ring, something I want to pass down to like my future children. I think I want a natural, but that's just my own personal preference.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay. If someone cares about value over time, and one thing I want to be clear about is we hear this a lot. You know, people talk about their Chanel handbags or their Birkins, and they say it's an investment purchase. I think any of this stuff is not an investment. Correct. Unusual fund is an investment.
KashmirrPlease for sure buy a house.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Um and I think one of the things that people that gets people confused is the insurable value is not necessarily what you're gonna get for it because anywhere that you go to sell it, they're not gonna give you retail. Somebody has to make a profit. Yes. Um, so but if somebody cares about value over time, cashmere, you mentioned that for you, like wanting to have something to pass down. Is there gonna be a difference between lab and natural?
KashmirrKind of think of it as like a car. So with lab grown, you'll never be able to resell that diamond. They are mass-produced in such insanely high qualities. I think back in 2022, they were making over 200,000 carats of lab grown diamonds in just one city in China. Like they are really, really mass-producing these things. Um, so kind of like buying a car. If I buy a two to three carat natural diamond, I won't be able to get the full uh retail value out of it, but I will be able to sell it for something later on down the road. Okay, so there is more value there in the natural.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay. Cost per wear is my love language. So exactly.
KashmirrWhat is it gonna cost me to wear it? Am I gonna enjoy it? Yes, yeah. It has to be like something that you love. Like lab grown, I have a few big pieces made in lab grown because I don't want to spend $40,000 on a pinky ring. But for different important pieces, I value them differently.
Nicole NettlesSo we always say that too. Like a lot of people get really nervous about studs. So lab grown studs are a great option for people that are nervous about losing earrings. Yeah, they're big and so again, it's something they want to wear all the time. They want to wear to the beach, they want to not have to be concerned if they travel. And so lab grown is a great option for that. You know, they'd rather have the bigger look and not have the worry.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)The the pair you have on, I know people can't see.
Nicole NettlesWe don't have video, but what size would those be? So these are four carat total weight, so two carat each. Uh-huh. So these are naturals, but in lab grown, I'd say this is our probably our most popular size we sell by far. And do they have the screw-on backs? Like, so I actually don't like the screw-ons because I'm really impatient and sitting there and doing that drives me crazy. So I use these little locking bags. They're really inexpensive. They're like 15 bucks, but they work great. I actually brought you a pair because they're one of my favorite things. But thank you. You can try them, you can put them on anything, but that's what I use. I love them.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)So, one
Choosing Diamond Shape & Cut
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)of the things that for me, this is just my personal preference, is I love sparkle. I mean, I think that's what makes diamonds so fun. A light return. Yes, yes. And I know um, so I I'm remarried, and in my first marriage, I remember that ring was super, super sparkly. Oh, okay. It was a round diamond and it was just really, really sparkly, but it was smaller. I sacrificed, I chose in that instance quality over size. Um, but what am I looking for? Or, you know, if somebody says to you, sparkle matters to me, what are they looking for? What how how are you gauging?
KashmirrThey're looking for cut, first of all. So cut always over everything. The way it's cut is gonna be the best sparkle and the light return. Um, so round brilliant is perfectly engineered to have maximum light retention, light return. So round brilliant is gonna be your number one sparkliest diamond. Um, there's different cuts. You could have an emerald cut, which is a step cut diamond, and that's gonna have very low sparkle, but you're gonna be able to see into that diamond. It's gonna be really pretty. Um, but I would say cut.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)So if you were gonna g do an emerald, you would want a higher quality because that's okay.
Nicole NettlesIt's like a looking through a window. You're gonna see everything.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And I think that's something we don't think about. We think about what we like. Like, what do what do I want to wear on my finger? We don't necessarily think about the sparkle or so too.
KashmirrLike you'll see something online, really, really love it. I want an emerald cut, have an idea in your head. And until you actually go to a store and try on that diamond, see that diamond in person, it's such a big difference. So I would say go in and try on the diamond.
Nicole NettlesSame as dresses. You know, you know, we all shop online, we look at something, we think, oh my god, that's perfect. And we get it home and we're like, this looks terrible on me. You know, rings are the same way. That's why it's so important to try on the different shapes and sizes. That was gonna be my next question.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Is actually um because you can you can find them online. And but I think for me, if it's something really important, like maybe studs would be different. You you know, you're the you're gonna wear them. Yes. Um, but like, especially an engagement ring, I can't imagine buying that online. It's something you're wearing every single time.
KashmirrYou have to at least try some sort of variation of it online. So if you're like, I want an Oval Diamond, I would go into a store and at least try on an Oval Diamond, even if you're not gonna buy it from that store directly. Make sure you try something on.
Nicole NettlesTry something for sure. Because so many times we have people come in and what they try on thinking they're gonna love ends up never being what they actually buy. Yeah. Which is, you know, wild. They have something in their head and then they go to turn it, you know, put it on, and they're like, oh, this isn't it. Yeah.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)So one of the things
Choosing Diamond Size & Weight
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)that so we talked about shape. What about size? How I mean, I know people like bigger is better, right? But you're gonna sacrifice quality. Do you have anybody that's disappointed where they said I'd rat I wish I'd gone with a little bit smaller so that it would be more sparkly? Or is it just different personality?
Nicole NettlesIt is different personalities. I would say in the 20 years of doing this, I've never had anybody wish they had gone smaller and better. I've only had the opposite. So it's so in this situation, bigger is. I have only ever had people wish they had gone larger. It's really sweet. You know, we'll have these guys come in and they'll want to look at two carrots. And, you know, um, their partner will be like, I, I, that's too big. I really only want a one or one and a half. I'll tell you diamond shrink over time. And that one or one and a half that looks so big at the time, all of a sudden doesn't in a couple years. So I've only ever noticed people going the opposite. Okay.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Yeah. And what what size do you mind me asking what size yours is?
Nicole NettlesSo mine's a three carat, and then I have three quarter carat half moons on either side.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And then when we've been on vacation, do you still wear it?
Nicole NettlesIt depends where I'm going. Okay. Honestly. If you know, if I'm going to some, you know, bougie fun resort in Miami, I'll wear it. If I'm traveling out of the country, I usually leave it at home. Because most of the time those places I'm at going to a beach resort anywhere where I'm in the water. So it's kind of I don't need to bring it. Yeah. So I don't worry about it.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay. Yeah. Well, I mean, because if anyone would would be able to replace it, I I don't want to say easily, because you can never replace it easily. Like, but it would be you. So I was just curious what you think about when you're traveling.
Nicole NettlesYeah. No, I don't. I'll usually bring some fun things or maybe just wear my wedding band. But usually my engagement ring, a lot of times I'll leave it home if I'm leaving the country.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay. Yeah. So if I'm coming in, and you mentioned there's a couple things I just want to kind of pull everything together into the almost like a checklist, like a girlfriend checklist. Yes. If you're buying a diamond. So you're knowing what shape you kind of want on your finger, but then also you if if I were to come in and talk to you and I came in and I said, Oh, I love emerald, but I can only afford this side. Is that something where you would maybe say to me, kind of what you're looking for?
KashmirrThose things don't necessarily go together? Absolutely. And so we have um a lot of the times we'll have somebody come in, give us kind of what they are wanting, and we'll pull a bunch of diamonds. We'll come have them come in and show them a range, like what fits best for your budget, what fits best for the color that you want, what fits best for like the sparkle that you want, and we'll walk somebody through what their priorities are.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay.
KashmirrSo most sparkly, I think you said was round, brilliant cuts. Yes, yes. Any of the faceted stones. So round, brilliant, oval, cushion are gonna be your like sparkliest diamonds, radiant as well. Um, and then stuff cuts are gonna be like your least sparkly, so emerald cuts and asher cuts. Um, and then with the fancy cuts, like oval, cushion, and radiant ratio is another big thing to think about. Okay. Um, so that's just basically like how long or skinny your diamond is, and that's gonna play a big part of sparkle too.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)That's one thing I don't think I understood about carrots, is that I thought it was the how big the diamond, like what I could see, but it's the whole volume.
KashmirrYes. So carrot is gonna be your weight. That's how much a uh how much your diamond's gonna weigh. So you could have a one carat diamond and a one carat diamond and them look completely different beside each other. And it's all basically how the cutter decided to cut that specific diamond. So
Buying a Diamond Online vs. In Store
Kashmirryou need to know the measurements.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And then again, it goes back to really it makes sense to buy from someone you know. Well, and yeah, really.
Nicole NettlesI I mean, I tell people all this all the time. I mean, we buy hundreds of diamonds a year. Um, and I personally have never purchased a diamond without seeing it. Oh, wow. Ever.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)That's why we're and that's your job. Yeah, I know you guys gotta answer.
Nicole NettlesSo we we I would never buy one without I would never invest my personal money into buying one without personally seeing it, only because it we always laugh. It's kind of like this. Would you marry somebody by just looking at their driver's license? No, you want to see them in person. How many times have you met seen somebody's picture on Instagram and then met them in real life and they look totally different? Diamonds are the same way. They look so different in person than they do.
KashmirrYou can get like a you so the main report um would be a GIA report that is associated with a diamond. Um, so that's the biggest laboratory that's gonna grade a diamond, but there's a lot of counterfeits online that are like masquerading as GIA. So there's like a G I I A. So you can get tricked with some of these like reports that are shown online. Okay. So doing your research is really important and finding a jeweler that you value and trust, building a relationship with someone.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And I could see even if you had a friend, so if you don't have a local jeweler, but you had a friend and you're I know friends that have gone, they'll come and visit and stay with a friend and go use their jeweler.
Nicole NettlesAbsolutely. Or, you know, we do have a lot of customers out of town because they have a family member that lives here and they were referred to us. So I always say you necessarily don't have to go in person. So much is done through FaceTime and text messaging and pictures and so forth today. Everybody is so busy to make the time to go in the store. A lot of times is difficult. But we FaceTime so much because it's great. Yeah, it's the reality of it's you're seeing the real item and real time in a real space. Um with real people to answer your questions. Because then when they say go outside and we see them. Exactly. We're like pictures today, you know, you never know that with AI they can be altered. Yeah. Answers. Sometimes you don't even know if you're talking to a real person. Oh my God, that's the worst.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Yeah. Okay. So our checklist, we're knowing your cut, knowing proportions, like how big you want it to sit. Yes. And then that can affect also um the setting that you want, right? Absolutely once. If you want really a big look, you might, but you can't do it with a stone. You get maybe something
Choosing a Setting
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)around it, a halo around it. Yeah.
KashmirrAnd um, you know, what kind of metal you want, all the different metals are gonna be a little bit different in their lifetime of wear.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)The other thing that was new to me is, and in this, I only I I did go to a jeweler that was recommended to me, you know, all these years ago when I was first married. But I didn't know what I was doing. So I did have where it it had a secure the the prong had a piece around it. I'm sure there's a technical name for that. The bezel? Yeah, um, the the metal prong pieces had a connector. Oh, a gallery rail. Yeah. So things like that, there are ways to keep it safer, but then does that affect sparkle?
KashmirrIt does, yeah, absolutely. It can. Um, so a bezel is gonna be metal completely encircling the diamond, and that is going to have the least amount of sparkle. But you can have prongs. You could have a hidden halo, which is diamonds on that gallery rail.
Nicole NettlesYou're not gonna see a huge difference unless you're completely encasing it. Like the different small little things like claw prong versus shared prong, those kind of things, you're not gonna see a really a difference in the way the diamond appears. It that's just gonna come down to how much metal you may see accenting the diamond itself. There are ways of setting that make it more secure than others. Um, but as far as visual appearance, it's not gonna affect much unless you're completely encasing it, like Kashmir's saying, like in a full bezel or, you know, setting it in something like that.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)And what about choosing your size? Is I've heard of upgrade plans. What is that?
Nicole NettlesIs it something that you do? Yeah. So we do um have an upgrade policy. And it's so funny because there's been many a times we've advertised this over the years, and it sounds like we're trying to get people to upgrade their wives. And that's not what we're doing. We're upgrading the ring. And so it's really nice because it gives people the opportunity at one point in their life, if they could afford this. And, you know, that's what they were able to allocate towards their budget. And then, you know, five, 10 years down the road, it's something completely different. We will buy that diamond back for what they paid for it towards.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Oh, wow. So that basically takes away your profit margin in a sense. Yes.
Nicole NettlesOkay. But in the long run, you know, it allows, you know, it's for us, it's a long-term relationship. Okay. So it's more than just that because, you know, many times we know it's gonna lead to other sales and other things. And so it's really wonderful for us and the client to be able to provide that service.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)But that's important that people know that that that is a specific relationship. So when you're buying a diamond, to think that any other jeweler is going to give you that is not the case. Correct. Yes.
Nicole NettlesSo you something you would have to discuss and ask with whoever you ended up purchasing.
KashmirrAnd we do it with natural diamonds. If you buy like a one carat natural, you can get a two carat natural or bigger down the road with lab grown diamonds. We do not offer an upgrade policy.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Oh, that's great to know. Yes.
KashmirrOkay.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay, so then that's another thing to consider with natural versus lab.
KashmirrAnd I don't think that I would say probably almost no jeweler is going to do an upgrade policy for a lab grown.
Nicole NettlesOh, wow. And it might be something that changes in the future, but as of now, just because I don't think people know where they are on the market as far as volatility and pricing. So that's one, that's the reason we don't offer it currently.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)What
Biggest Jewelry Buying Regrets
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)are the biggest regrets that you hear from people? The button on cruise ships. The drunk cruise ship merchants. Well, they probably have special lighting too that make it look so much better.
KashmirrAnd you have the drink package and everything's fun, and you're, you know, you're not in the United States anymore. You're somewhere far away.
Nicole NettlesYeah. So, you know, those people are having a good time. They're not worried if they ever see you again. And it's just, it's crazy because some of the stuff that we get in that people want us to appraise and it never appraises for what they purchased for. You know, it's so over inflated. But I always try to tell people, you can't think about that again. You've bought a memory for fun. For fun, and you've bought a memory. So you have to just Bad memory. A bad memory. Not if you don't know. Don't bring it into a print up. So if you buy on a cruise ship, just don't get it a prank.
KashmirrJust enjoy it and move on.
Nicole NettlesYeah.
KashmirrYeah. Something else that would be very uh right now, very thin, dainty styles have been huge in trend. And we're seeing them come back with missing stones, they're out shape like out of shape, the prongs are getting worn very fast. So just think maintenance, think long term. You're gonna wear it for the rest of your life.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)That was gonna be a question for me because I know on my my ring now had been platinum previously, and one of my eternity bands had been platinum. Yes. And it was constantly bending as you explained to me that yes, it is a higher quality, but it's a softer metal. And it didn't, I just in my mind I thought platinum is the end-all beat all.
Nicole NettlesYeah, right. It's so wild, you don't really think about it, but platinum is extremely durable and it's a really wonderful metal in certain contexts. But for whatever reason, especially like in an eternity band, especially people that are really active, if they like work out and they're always holding weights or something, it's just very malleable. So it bends and shifts and moves. So we see a lot of times all of a sudden these poor giant eternity bands become oval and shaped. And you're missing diamonds. It's not fun.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)So important. So you ask if somebody came in, if I was coming
How Lifestyle Impacts Jewelry Choices
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)in or even um someone was wanting to propose and they're coming in, you would probably ask what the lifestyle is like. Absolutely.
KashmirrThe first thing, are you gonna hit the diamond on everything that you're touching and moving? I have talked with my hands a lot, so I know that I'm really extra rough on jewelry.
Nicole NettlesYeah, so we always ask lifestyle. If people come in and say, I want platinum, we always ask why, you know, is it because they have an allergy? Yes. Do they have an allergy? You know, do they need something that's hypoallergenic? Okay, so what would be in it that they would need to be aware of?
KashmirrSo uh platinum is hypoallergenic because it's like I think 99% pure. And gold is usually mixed with a bunch of other metals to create an alloy mixture. So sometimes gold is mixed with nickel, which is a very common um metal allergy. So if you have reactions to metals that you're already wearing, I would say go with platinum is probably the safer choice. Okay. Yeah.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)Okay, that's great advice. So just
Recap Diamond Buying Checklist
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)kind of going back over that checklist, knowing lifestyle, knowing budget, and and being in a budget that you're comfortable with. Yes. It are the important things that they're gonna come in and talk to you about. And then knowing what sort of look. Like if it's a larger budget, maybe they're looking for clarity and they're looking at the quality of the diamond, then you would be okay with maybe an emerald. But you might say that's not necessarily a good choice if it's smaller or lower quality.
Nicole NettlesYes, absolutely.
KashmirrJust communication. You gotta, you know, you gotta talk to each other, figure out like both people are on the same page.
Nicole NettlesYeah. Thank goodness Pinterest has been a huge help. Oh, because it, you know, so many um people come in to buy an engagement ring, and they're, you know, their little faces look so confused. And the first thing we ask is, does she have a Pinterest page? Because I guarantee you it's loaded up with rings.
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)I love that. Yeah. This is part one, and we're going to have a part two where we're gonna talk more about buying jewelry online. Some of the things like we this episode was specifically about diamonds. And, you know, we could have talked even for an hour, but I want to keep I want to keep it short. So listen to part two if you want to learn
Closing
Holly Bohn Pittman (Host)more about buying jewelry online and then metals and why having a relationship with a local jeweler really matters. So that's it for what I expected. If this saved you time, money, or regret, hit follow, subscribe, and share with a friend who always has a quick question before she buys. Got a topic you want me to unpack? Send it my way. See you next time.
