Wigs on the Green is hosted by Tamara and Marina, two women who believe the most important stories in Irish public life are the ones that never made the front page. Each episode, we sit down with the OG upstarts of Irish grassroots politics, activism, social change, disability rights, and queer history...the people who went out on a limb before it was safe, popular, or even legal to do so.
Because Ireland didn't change by accident. It changed because people got mad, got organised, and refused to go away. And right now, with so much still to fight for, there has never been a better time to hear how they did it.
Expect honest conversations, the odd argument, a lot of laughter, and stories that will genuinely make you proud of this little country, and furious on its behalf in equal measure.
