This guided meditation is offered in the days leading up to June 21st, inviting you to gently attune to the energy of expansion and awareness as it builds around us. You can listen in preparation, return to it on the solstice itself, or use it anytime you feel called to reconnect with clarity, grounding, and inner light.

Welcome to the special bonus episode of the Healing Waves Ricky Podcast. I'm your host, Kathy Scarpito, and I'm so glad you're here. The summer solstice is a powerful seasonal turning point that arrives each year as we reach the longest day and the peak of light in the northern hemisphere. The solstice invites us to pause and recognize all that has come into bloom within us. It is time to acknowledge the seeds we've planted, the lessons we've learned, and the ways we've grown. As nature reaches its fullest expression, we're invited to ask ourselves, what am I ready to celebrate? What am I ready to release? What intentions do I want to carry forward into the second half of the year? I'm sharing this meditation in the days leading up to June 21st as a way to gently attune to the seasonal energy in advance. Even before it arrives, the shift is already working with us. There is a natural build of light, energy, and momentum in our environment, inviting us to reflect, expand, and become more aware of what is ready to grow within us and in our lives. This episode is an invitation to step into that energy. You can listen to this meditation now in preparation, save it for the summer solstice itself, or return to it anytime you feel called to reconnect with the sense of light, renewal, and expansion. Take this time as a gift to yourself: a moment to rest, reflect, and receive. There is no right or wrong way to use this practice. Let it meet you exactly where you are. You don't need to do anything special. Simply allow it to be a space you can return to for grounding, reflection, and reconnection with yourself, your breath, your body, and your inner wisdom. And if you are in a place where it is not safe to close your eyes or fully relax, simply allow the words to wash over you. When you're ready, we'll begin. Wherever you are right now, find a comfortable position. You may choose to sit or lie down. If you are driving or doing anything that requires your attention, please come back to this when you are able to pause. If it feels safe for you, gently close your eyes. Let's begin by taking a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhaling softly through your mouth. Again, breathing in and breathing out. Inhaling light, possibility and abundance and exhaling anything you are ready to release. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, allow your shoulders to soften. Let your jaw relax. Let your hands rest comfortably with each breath. Give yourself permission to arrive more fully into this moment. Now imagine yourself standing in the warm light of early summer. Feel the gentle warmth of the sun on your skin. Notice how that warmth begins to spread through your body, softening tension, quieting the mind, an inviting presence. The summer solstice reminds us that light exists within us as much as it exists around us. Take a moment to reflect. What has come into bloom in your life? What strengths, insights, or lessons are you ready to honor? Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. Now gently ask yourself what am I ready to release? What no longer supports my growth or my peace. There is no need to force an answer. Just notice what arises. Now imagine placing anything you are ready to release into the light of the sun, allowing it to dissolve with ease. Take a slow breath in and a full breath out. Feeling space opening within you. Now silently repeat. I honor how far I've come. I welcome the light within me. I trust the path unfolding ahead. Now take one final deep breath in and slowly exhale. Begin to bring your awareness back to your body. Notice the surface supporting you. Feel your breath. Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes. And when you are ready, softly open your eyes.
