Our psychological-autopsy episodes explore individual lives and the relationships, pressures, experiences, and systems surrounding a death. Our Field Guides step back to examine broader subjects like stigma, shame, addiction, isolation, and the ways we respond to people who are struggling.
Suicide prevention is central to why we do this. But understanding people begins long before a crisis. We ask difficult questions, challenge easy explanations, and question our own assumptions along the way.
These are serious subjects, but they don’t have to be cold or impossible to talk about. You don’t need a clinical background to follow the conversation. Our aim is to make difficult human behavior more understandable and help us become better prepared to engage when it matters most.
