Karemmy Schinzing

Karemmy Schinzing serves as the Chief Outreach Officer at House of Providence. She has been with the organization for over six years, beginning her work as a social worker and growing into a leadership role focused on expanding House of Providence’s reach and impact in the community.

In her current role, Karemmy primarily leads the launch and development of the Family Resource Center, a program designed to support at-risk families, emerging adults, children, and parents before crisis becomes collapse. Her work focuses on building relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and helping families access the support they need to move toward stability and hope.

Karemmy brings both practical experience and deep compassion to her leadership. Her perspective helps House of Providence continue expanding beyond residential care to reach families earlier, walk with them longer, and create pathways toward restoration.

Maggie Dunn

Maggie Dunn is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of House of Providence. As a therapist and leader, Maggie has helped shape the organization’s trauma-informed approach to caring for children and families impacted by foster care, abuse, neglect, and instability.

Her work is deeply personal. Along with their two biological children, Maggie and her husband, Jay, welcomed six children from foster care into their family. That lived experience continues to shape her leadership, compassion, and commitment to creating places where children and families can experience safety, healing, and hope.

Through House of Providence, Maggie has helped build a model of care that goes beyond programs and services. Her heart is to see children restored, families strengthened, and communities equipped to care for the most vulnerable with excellence.
