Hi, I'm Ralph Peterson of 7 Trillion SEO and this is the AI Search Briefing. Does AI Search include YouTube? You better believe it does. This one excites me because I've been talking about YouTube video marketing for years. Now when most business owners hear AI search, they think about their website, Google Business Profile, and online reviews, but video belongs in that conversation as well. Google says its generative AI search features can surface relevant videos. It can use your title, description, captions, chapters, and even the words you speak to understand video. Google can also identify the key moments and send the searcher directly to the part that answers their question. Think about what that means. A plumber could explain why a drain keeps backing up, a carpet cleaner could demonstrate pet odor removal, an AI-powered search result could lead someone directly to that video. Possibly your video. Your YouTube videos are no longer just videos, they are searchable answer documents. When you embed that video on a well-optimized page on your website, both the video and the web page have an opportunity to be discovered. Some customers want to read the answers, others want to watch the answer. Video allows people to see you, hear you, and begin trusting you before they even call. But random uploads are not enough. Use a clear, question-focused title, an accurate description, captions and chapters for longer videos. Ask the question clearly, answer it clearly. Share real experience that proves you know what you're talking about. Here's today's AI Search takeaway. YouTube SEO and AI Search Optimization are now connected. Helpful videos give AI Search and customers something generic content cannot provide. A real human expert. I'm Ralph Peterson of 7 Trillion SEO. Think big, be trusted, be recommended.
