Hi, I'm Ralph Peterson of 7 Trillion SEO and this is the AI Search Briefing Weekend Recap number six. Happy weekend! Let's take a quick look back at what we covered this week. And if you missed any of these episodes, I'd encourage you to go back and give them a lesson. On Monday, we discovered that buying Reddit mentions could become the modern version of the old SEO link farms. Shortcuts may work for a while, but history has a funny way of repeating itself. On Tuesday, we noticed something big. A year ago, SEO companies were selling rankings. Today, they're selling recommendations. That is a huge shift. On Wednesday, we answered a simple question. Do keywords still matter? Yes, but instead of writing content for a keyword, write content to answer your customers' questions. On Thursday, we tackled yet another rumor. Is Google SEO obsolete? No. SEO isn't disappearing, it's evolving. Today it's not just about helping Google understand your business, it's also about helping AI understand your business. And on Friday I shared one of my favorite SEO stories. Back in 2015, I ranked a YouTube video on page one of Google in just 43 seconds. Would that work today? No, because search changes, and that's exactly why we have to keep learning. Have a fantastic weekend, and next week, rumor has it, you don't need meta tags anymore. Is that really true? We'll find out. I'm Ralph Peterson of 7 Trillion SEO. Think big, be trusted, be recommended.
