Three Things You Can Do This Weekend to Help AI Recommend Your Business | The AI Search Briefing #37
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Want to know whether AI understands and trusts your business?
This weekend, take three simple steps.
First, ask ChatGPT or your favorite AI assistant the same kind of question a potential customer would ask. Do not mention your business by name. See which companies AI recommends, then ask yourself why those businesses appeared instead of yours.
Second, review your website as though you have never seen it before. Does it clearly explain who you are, what you do, and which locations you serve?
Third, write down the five questions your customers ask most often. Those questions can become valuable website articles, videos, FAQs, and social media content.
In this episode of The AI Search Briefing, Ralph Peterson explains how these three practical exercises can reveal what AI understands about your business and where your digital presence needs improvement.
You do not have to fix everything this weekend.
Just start.
Think Big. Be Trusted. Be Recommended.
The AI Search Briefing is a daily 1–3 minute update helping business owners, marketers, and SEO professionals understand how AI is changing search.
Here are three things you can do this weekend to help AI recommend your business. Hi, I'm Ralph Peterson of 7 Trillion SEO, and this is the AI Search Briefing. We've covered a lot this week. Meta tags, dimorphic websites, no, that has nothing to do with Transformers. We covered AI advertising and why AI can't trust what it can't verify. So let's wrap up the week with three simple things you can do this weekend. Ask ChatGPT or your favorite AI assistant about your business. But not your business name. Ask the kind of questions your customers would ask. For example, who's the best realtor in Woodbury? Or who's the best carpet cleaner in Minneapolis? See who AI recommends and then ask yourself, why is AI showing them and not me? Number two, visit your own website. Pretend you've never seen it before. Does it clearly explain who you are, what you do, what locations you serve? If not, go to your desk drawer, find a pen, pull out a notepad, start making notes. And number three, since you've already got your notepad out, write down the top five questions your customers ask you most often. Those questions are some of the best content you could ever create. Because if your customers are asking those questions, there's a good chance AI is being asked those same questions every day. Hey, you don't have to fix everything this weekend. Just start, just do something. Get that pen and notepad out now. Because every improvement helps AI better understand your business. And the easier your business is to understand, the easier it is to recommend.
