Dr. Dustin Sachs
Dr. Dustin S. Sachs is a Chief Technologist and Cyber-Risk Behavioral Scientist specializing in the intersection of cybersecurity, human behavior, and organizational risk. He holds a Doctorate in Cybersecurity and certifications including CISSP and C|CISO.
Dr. Sachs applies behavioral science to cybersecurity strategy, helping organizations understand how people think, decide, and act under pressure. His work translates insights on cognitive bias, culture, governance, and decision-making into practical approaches that reduce risk and strengthen security outcomes.
He currently leads content development at CyberRisk Collaborative and teaches cybersecurity at Lone Star College. As a researcher, author, and speaker, Dr. Sachs has presented on cognitive bias, data-driven decision-making, AI, supply chain risk, and cyber resilience. His work focuses on making security more human-aware, resilient, and effective.
