The Unlit House is the first chapter of the Atlas Universe — a serialized work of audio autofiction from a voice known only as Atlas. No name. No face. No interviews. Just the truth, narrated in the dark.
Every episode opens with the same line: "The following is a work of fiction inspired by real events. Names and details have been changed." You'll hear it every time. And every time, you'll know it isn't fiction at all.
This season follows Atlas through the years he spent in uniform — building affirmations he didn't believe yet, surviving relationships that taught him who he was by showing him who he wasn't, and finally understanding the house he grew up in. The lights were always on. Nobody ever said why they were never lit.
Raw. Confessional. Honest in a way performance never allows. Somewhere in the dark, Atlas is still writing.
