Mission: ReMission
Life is hard. But you don't have to walk through it alone.
If you've ever wondered whether God still has a purpose for your life after failure... if you've wrestled with shame, fear, disappointment, anxiety, or just felt stuck... welcome. You're among friends.
I'm David Leister, Executive Director of Missions at Pillar Ministries, and every week we have honest conversations about real life through the timeless truth of God's Word.
Mission: ReMission exists to help people uproot the lies that have distorted their identity, plant the truth of God's Word deep in their hearts, recover hope, receive the help of the Holy Spirit, and live courageously on mission again.
Life has a way of knocking all of us down. There will be setbacks. There will be losses. There will be questions we can't answer and storms we never saw coming.
But that's not the end of the story.
Jesus told us that in this world we would have trouble. He never promised a life without storms—but He did promise that we would never face them alone. He has overcome the world, and because of Him, we can face tomorrow with hope.
Each episode combines biblical truth, practical encouragement, personal stories, a little well-timed humor, and memorable illustrations from everyday life and popular culture to help you grow in your faith and discover the life God created you to live.
Whether you're rebuilding after a painful season, searching for a fresh start, or simply longing to know Christ more deeply, my prayer is that every episode leaves you with greater hope, deeper faith, and the confidence to take your next step with Jesus.
Because what happened to you does not have the power to determine what God can do through you.
No matter where you've been, what you've done, or what you're facing today, you are not forgotten, you are not disqualified, and your story is far from over. God is still restoring, still redeeming, and still calling you forward. So come just as you are—with your questions, your doubts, your scars, and your hopes—and discover the new life, lasting hope, and unshakable purpose found in Jesus Christ.
Let's replace the lies with God's truth, rediscover the hope found in Jesus Christ, and learn what it means to truly live on mission again.
Truth in. Lies out.
