Ash & Honey: The Root and The Road
Before the internet told you what to eat, what to take, and what to fear—somebody’s grandmother already knew. And she learned it from her grandmother.
Ash & Honey: The Root and The Road is a history podcast about healing. Not wellness. Not optimization. Healing—the kind with a lineage, a name, and a reason that predates the algorithm selling it back to you.
Hosted by Alexandria Quinn Love, M.A.—historian, formulator, and founder of Ash & Honey Botanique—this show digs into the pre-industrial record: Greek Humorism, Ayurveda, Celtic and Pictish traditions, the raw economics of medieval medicine, and the specific plants that kept people alive before the supplement aisle existed. Then, we turn that same lens on what’s circulating on your feed. Not to tear it down, but to find out where the real thing went—and what got stripped out between the source and the shelf.
The body is not separate from the mind. The mind is not separate from the emotion. The emotion is not separate from the season.
Some episodes are history. Some are honest. Some are both. Some are just real life crossing the microphone, because an integrated life doesn't perform for production value.
Take everything with a grain of salt. Including this.
The road was always there. Someone always walked it. Now—so do you.
