Mike is a retired military officer and special agent, with a master’s degree in International Security Studies and a master’s degree in US History. He served 23 years in uniform in both the Army and the Air Force, as well as seven years as a civilian special agent with the Department of the Air force. Mike has served in Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, four tours in Iraq, and three tours in Afghanistan. He has taught undergraduate history for Park University. He is the father of three and grandfather of two. He currently owns a martial arts gym and works part time as a paramedic in his community.
