The Odyssey
The Odyssey Podcast is hosted by Rosanna, a holistic doula and educator based in Wiltshire. After losing her own mother in the earliest weeks of motherhood, her path into doula work became an exploration of what women have always needed, but have too often been denied. Each episode explores not only motherhood, but the cultural conditions that shape it. Through conversations on birth, matrescence, grief, partnership, nourishment, the menstrual cycle and the village every mother deserves, the podcast asks what becomes possible when we stop expecting women to carry motherhood alone. Some episodes are quiet reflections. Others are conversations with women whose stories invite us to see motherhood differently. Together, they explore motherhood not as a role to perform, but as a profound transformation worthy of reverence, support and collective responsibility.
