Brian Di Stefano

As head coach of the girls team, club director, and assistant coach for the boys (defensive positioning), he founded Myrtle Beach Lightning six years ago with one mission: improving the game in the Myrtle Beach area. Since the program's founding, Lightning has developed some of the best players in the State of South Carolina. What began with a handful of girls is now a ranked club lacrosse program that has outlasted many national franchise clubs entering the area. With over 20 years of playing and coaching experience, Coach Brian has personally coached and trained more than 30 all-region and all-state players over the past five years, alongside over a dozen college commits. He has also coached and trained two international players who compete on their national field and box lacrosse teams.

Terrance Butler

Following his playing career, Terrance channeled his expertise and passion into coaching and athlete development. Over more than 15 years, he has personally trained athletes at every level. His track record speaks for itself: he played an instrumental role in helping Lorenzo Taliaferro and Adam Randall earn spots with the Baltimore Ravens, assisting Denzel Rice in signing a free agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, and guiding Quinn Backus to a contract in the Canadian Football League. Beyond the professionals, Terrance has helped numerous amateur athletes earn college scholarships and has worked with hundreds of competitors to sharpen their speed, agility, strength, and overall conditioning. His approach extends well beyond physical performance — he is deeply committed to educating athletes on proper nutrition, body care, and life skills, serving as both a coach and a mentor to those he works with.
