Step into the back room, pull up a chair, and keep your mouth shut until Mafia Mike finishes talking. The Sports Shake Down is the weekly sports podcast where former professional American soccer player **Mafia Mike** takes a serious—but never too serious—look at everything happening in the world of sports.

With an old-world Italian tough-guy attitude, a healthy dose of Yankee opinions, and absolutely no shortage of confidence, Mike breaks down the week's biggest games, controversies, players, coaches, trades, and storylines. He brings the perspective of someone who has actually been on the field, mixes it with sharp analysis and predictions, and delivers it all with the humor and swagger of a guy who might have a "friend" who knows a guy.

No corporate sports-talk nonsense. No cookie-cutter opinions. Just Mafia Mike calling it like he sees it.

The scores may change, the players may change, and the predictions may occasionally go horribly wrong—but one thing never changes: Mafia Mike always has an opinion.
