Hosted by journalist and horror fanatic Parker Herren alongside former scary-skeptics turned genre-lovers Caroline and Ian Hoyt, we’re on a continuous quest to rank, review, and discuss cinema’s best (and worst) spooky flicks. What started in 2019 as an attempt to convert two scaredy-cats evolved into a cozy, chaotic hangout for horror fans of all levels.
From brand-new theatrical releases and streaming gems to iconic slasher classics, we break down scares, rank memorable kills, and put releases head-to-head for the title of our favorite scary movie, plus expert film history deep-dives from guest historian Julieann Stipidis.
