Love Within the Transition: Discovering Yourself While Loving Another is a podcast centered on Black queer love, relationships, and the transformative journey of loving through life’s transitions.
Inspired by our lived experience; a cisgender Black woman and a Black transgender man whose relationship evolves through gender transition. We create space for the conversations our community does not always get to have. We explore how identity, intimacy, communication, family, culture, and love evolves when one partner transitions, and how both people are transformed in the process.
Too often, the Black experiences of queer couples, and especially relationships involving Black trans men, are overlooked, misunderstood, or left out of the conversation. We are here to change that.
This show is a space where Black queer partners, trans men, and our broader community can hear honest stories, ask difficult questions, and find language for the experiences they have carried in silence. Together, we will explore what it means to support one another, nurture yourself, while building relationships rooted in authenticity, compassion, and growth.
Because loving someone through transition is not only about witnessing who they are becoming, it is also about discovering who you are.
