i dont know how this message thing works, but i figure ill share because of the story that was shared in a class recently: Last year i was traveling from australia to new york, and i had a stopover for some four hours in LA. Naturally, i hopped in an uber to a shul to daven shacharis with a minyan. Id arrived some 20(?) minutes early for the minyan which had yet to start, and i heard some noise coming from the back that sounded familiar somehow. Being extremely jetlaged, it only hit me as i sat down before the flight to new york that… id just heard, in a very chitzoniyusdike way at least, rabbi levins shiur, live! It was a wild concept to me, that i was living nearly a full day away, some 7500 miles, and id heard hours upon hours of shiurim from a real person in a real shul, who was until that point merely a theoretical figure, literally seperated by an ocean, accessed via a sequence of taps on my phone. So i guess i just want to say... yaasher koach for the shiurim! I appreciate them very much, and it was nice to be there in a makifdike way
