Filmmaker and author Craig Detweiler, PhD is President of the Wedgwood Circle, a network of creators and patrons. After graduation from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he wrote the screenplays for The Duke, the comedic road trip, Extreme Days and directed the award-winning documentary Remand, narrated by Angela Bassett. His acclaimed books include iGods: How Technology Shapes Our Spiritual and Social Lives, Selfies: Searching for the Image of God in a Digital Age, Deep Focus: Film and Theology in Dialogue and his newest release on Honest Creativity in the age of Artificial Intelligence. Detweiler’s cultural commentary has been featured on ABC’s Nightline, CNN, Fox, NPR, and in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Variety honored Detweiler as their Mentor of the Year.  

John Dougherty is a Catholic writer, educator, and dad based in the Philadelphia area. He writes the biweekly Catholic Movie Club column for America Magazine, the Jesuit Review, and serves as one of the magazine's primary film critics. He is the author of Finding God in All Films: A Contemplative Approach to Watching Movies(Orbis Books, November 2026) and his work has appeared at the National Catholic Reporter, Busted Halo, and the Jesuit Media Lab. Joshua Johnson is a child of God, the husband of Meredith and the father of Luke. He follows Jesus with others at Navah Church KC; coaches and trains others to ignite movements to Jesus, has conversations about living in the Kingdom of God as the host of the podcast Shifting Culture, hosts the podcast The Good, The True, and The Cinema, and runs the Shifting Culture Podcast Network.

Previously, Joshua has been an Executive Director of a non-profit, a Movement Catalyst in the Middle East and Asia, an English teacher, and a basketball coach at the high school and college level. He loves movies, traveling the world, being surrounded by nature, and going on walks.
