#1 – Your People Are One of Your Greatest Assets
Take time to speak with and really listen to your employees.

#2 – “The Solution is the System; the System is the Solution”
Listen to episode 11 to better understand why there are a skilled labor shortage and episode 12 to get access to a training platform that will change the way you educate your technicians.

#3 – You’re Not Just in Parts and Service
“The journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step” and that first step for you may be emailing me. My email is jamie@jamieirvine.ca.

 #4 – Find a Niche
This is a lesson I learned and also is a lesson that can be learned from my discussion with Neil Gerritsen in episode 8 where he recounted the recent sale of a fleet.

 #5 – Joint-Ventures Are One Key to Long-Term Success
A great example of this is found in episode 22 where Chris Sterwerf talks about many examples of collaboration in the collision repair sector of our industry.

I hope these suggestions have got you thinking about ways to improve your business in 2020. I want to thank you for listening and supporting the podcast in 2019.
