October 11, 2021 Dr Alison Hardy Episode 79

Send me a message.

Claire Vickery talks this week bout her research exploring teachers' views of why the numbers of pupils studying GCSE D&T has declined.

This is her dissertation study for her MA at the University of Buckingham; Claire is looking for participants - do sign up (before the end of October 2021) using the links below.

There are three aims of Claire's research project:

  1. To undertake a formative evaluation which seeks to diagnose factors which may have contributed to a decline in D&T GCSE entries within England.
  2. To gain an insider’s perspective and to lear from the real-life experiences of D&T teachers within England.
  3. To consider solutions which could be implemented to increase D&T GCSE entries at a local level.
