One of my favourite things about doing this podcast is the wide variety of women it connects me with. Maaike Steinebach is unlike any guest I've had previously.
She has been described as one of Hong Kong’s female banking titans. Maaike is CEO of a Hong Kong based financial services corporation, co-founder of the Hong Kong FinTech Association and the Hong Kong Women in Tech Network, a board member for Splash (a non-profit organisation that brings learn-to-swim opportunities to under-resourced communities), a mother of three, and a wife.
Maaike only discovered the value of sport and exercise 5 years ago, and in this episode, we talk about how that discovery changed her life for the better. Finding sport, and importantly realising the importance of self-care, enhanced Maaike's career performance, family life, social life, and overall well being.
Maaike is passionate about empowering women to live their lives to the fullest, whether it's empowering them financially, mentally, or physically.
