Brittany Mallory played basketball at the University of Notre Dame from 2008-2012 and also played on the lacrosse team in 2012. Brittany talks about growing up in Maryland, her excellent basketball and lacrosse career at McDonogh School, but ultimately deciding to pursue basketball in college, and what led her to choose Notre Dame. She also discusses her first few years there, tearing her ACL and what she learned from sitting out a year, her mindset on having to guard the other team's best player, and defying the odds her Senior year by beating Tennessee to make it to the Final Four and then beating UConn in the Semi-Final. Brittany goes into detail about the tough decision to come back for her Redshirt Senior season, why it was her older brother Bobby that helped convince her to come back, some exciting wins in 2012, an emotional day for her leading up to playing Maryland in the Elite 8, and her heroic game in the overtime at the Final Four against UConn. Finally, she talks about how she ended up on the lacrosse team following the 2012 basketball season, her experience on the team, continuing to follow both sports since she's left campus, and what she's up to now.
