Changing jobs and companies is tough. Most of the time, we jump from one right into the other with barely a break.
Mallory Lee wanted to change that, so during her interviews, she asked to take a mini-sabbatical between roles- and the companies agreed.
She is now the VP of Operations at Nylas, which means she also moved into a completely different type of business. She needed to learn a new customer persona and market, not to mention adjust to working across multiple time zones (she had mostly been working only in the US Eastern Time Zone).
