There has been a flurry of published Pilates manuals coming out of Germany, and more specifically, authored by a Pilates instructor named Reiner Grootenhuis. As a Pilates studio owner, Reiner recognized a need to document Joe’s method in all of its heritage. Reiner has published a number of books, including the well received biography on Carola Trier, one of Joe’s most talented students.
