A "mystery" is something that cannot be explained, analogous to a hole too deep to observe the bottom. Suffering cries out for an explanation, yet too often none is given this side of the grave. Job survived just such suffering and Christ undertook the same on our behalf. Dr. Zeile points out that we have a Savior who has suffered for us and with us.
