Martin Luther's Evening Prayer

Deuteronomy 32 "I Kill and Make Alive"

April 30, 2021 Dr. Richard Zeile
Martin Luther's Evening Prayer
Deuteronomy 32 "I Kill and Make Alive"
Show Notes

There are those who blame God for killing; and this shows that they do not know who God is, for He is the Creator who gives to each his life and should He withdraw His grace they fall into death. Therefore humility, not prideful ignorance, is the proper attitude toward God. Dr. Zeile's message for Passion Sunday (also known as Palm Sunday) lays out the Divine plan involving death and life implemented in Holy Week. A reading from the Passion account of Luke 23  and the Lenten hymn "Christ the Life of all the Living, Christ the Death of Death our Foe" are included in this program.
