Martin Luther's Evening Prayer
"An Unchanging Faith for Changing Lives" describes the message of God for us in the turmoil of the 21st Century. This faith is taught at St. John's Lutheran Church of Taylor, Michigan, and other congregations of the Lutheran church-Missouri Synod. Rev. Dr. Richard Zeile, Pastor at St. John's, applies the Word of God to our everyday experiences. God's LAW always accuses, but God's GOSPEL shows where grace can be found, through Jesus Christ who died for our sin, but rose that we may have eternal life.

I Kings 3: The Gift of Wisdom
Solomon realized that he had some big shoes to fill as successor to King David. When God appeared to him in a dream and invited him to make any request, Solomon asked for wisdom, an understanding heart, in order to serve God's people. Free from the conceit and self-centeredness that keeps so many from wisdom, Solomon was blessed with additional gifts, notably a secure throne, wealth, fame, and peace. Dr. Zeile's message on this is accompanied by the Litany on the Name of Jesus, Nicene Creed, and the hymns "O Jesus So Sweet" (setting by J.S.Bach) and the ancient "From God the Father."
