Season 13 - Episode 12: Psychosomatics of Digestive Problems | EVETTE ROSE

Digestive problems can occur due to a variety of physical and psychological factors. Psychological factors have been noted in cases of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and other functional gastrointestinal disorders. Stress, anxiety, and depression can disrupt normal digestive functioning by increasing the body’s cortisol levels and stimulating neurotransmitters in the brain that can cause inflammation in the gut. Chronic stress or trauma may also contribute to digestive issues such as constipation or bloating. In order to reduce the risk of developing digestive problems due to psychosomatic causes, it is important to practice relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises or yoga along with making healthy dietary changes. Additionally, seeking professional help for any mental health issues present may also be beneficial in managing digestive problems.🎇
