 Happy New Year, my loves. Welcome back to the Flow State Business Podcast. I'm your host, Ruby Lee, and wow, we made it to 2026. I hope that you are having the best lovely little melty period between. End of year, the start of the new year that you are easing into all of your goals. Gently, please don't try and rush it all so quickly because that can just cause so much tension.

I hope that you feel expansion. I hope that you feel so excited without that weird pressure to suddenly reinvent yourself and your entire personality on the 1st of January. Please don't do that, but honestly. I have been personally in so much growth and so much integration, so much reflection, but also massively relaxing and just.

You know, enjoying, like being in my body, being in my beautiful beachside town over this summer season. So lots of swimming, like a lot of swimming best fireworks of my life. Like I think it was the last episode where I said, we're in Hong Kong last year and we're on the wrong side of the hotel and did not see any fireworks.

This year on my balcony, I could literally see down the entire coastline of Queensland, not the entire coastline of Queensland, of South Southern Gold Coast, I should say. And it was so beautiful, like, oh my gosh. It was just a stunning experience. I have also been dog sitting, which I love. Reminds me why I love animals, but also why I don't want another one full time.

I love my besties dog, but seriously, it's also very nice to know that. I don't have to like have him all the time. I feel bad saying that he's sitting at my feet right now. But it's a lot of responsibility. Plus, I live in, you know, an apartment building, so there's no outside bit. I have to literally take him out three times a day to go to the loo.

So. Yeah, there's, there's a lot there. Anyhow, I've been doing, what else? 10,000 steps a day, which has been, partly because I've got toffee and going on so many walks, but that is nice. Like to start the year off with over 10,000 steps a day for the last like 10 days. I am going to the gym pretty much every single day.

I'm loving it 'cause it's actually also really quiet at my gym. I don't know, like a lot of people are still, I guess not back into their full routine. So I feel like I've got this massive gym to myself and I feel strong. Actually, my son, who's now 10, Teddy turned 10. On Christmas Eve, which was so cool. It was like a really, really cool day, and he loves being a Christmas baby.

But anyhow, he said to me, mom, you look so strong lately. Like everything about the way that you are like looking, your legs look really strong. Your arms look strong. Listen, I, I don't have like huge muscles, but I think what he means is that I just look toner maybe, I don't know, but whatever's going on in his 10-year-old mind, I receive that.

I've also been cooking heaps and actually hanging out with people that I love. And you know, it's sometimes hard throughout the year when we're so busy and we've got a ton of stuff going on this time of year, like has been so nice just to have long lunches, nursing, one glass of wine and just catching up on everything.

And the conversations around this time of year are so open and so visionary, aren't they? Like, you know, we can. Unashamedly share everything that we wanna do for the year ahead rather than it being, you know, also like doom and gloom. So anyhow, that's been so beautiful and that has actually set up today's episode really perfectly.

And gosh, like just taking a quick moment here to be like, I'm so happy to be back on the mic. I have really missed you guys, but I've also needed the break. 'cause last year we did. Like an episode, we did 50 episodes, so an episode every single week except the last two weeks of the year. So I needed a bit of a catch up with my own energy and just sitting with how I wanna really show up for you guys, my amazing podcast community this year.

And you know, there's a lot that I have on the vision board around the podcast. And I spoke to that in the last episode where I'm like, I'm a, this is amazing. Like I'm hosting a top 1% in the World podcast and I'm gonna start showing up that way. But at the same time, I'm not changing who I am. I'm not gonna, you know, load up this podcast with sponsors and with guests who have really big accounts and really massive communities.

Because it will take this podcast even further and doing all the, the strategic type of things there. I'm not interested in that. What I wanna really do is talk to all of you who are serious around helping your business grow through the form of making sales every single day. I promise you it's not hard.

I promise you what I'm gonna be sharing is literally taken from my year of 2025, where I've dubbed that year as the year of fearless experimentation where I have literally put my entire business on the line. I've remodeled everything. I've used myself as a Guinea pig and as an example, and now I feel so fired up and ready to share that with all of you because I truly believe every single niche, every single.

Coach, mentor, educator, soul led business owner out there deserves to make sales every day. And that is what I want this podcast to be really focused on and how you do that in flow, how you pick your flow state so that you are showing up so authentically in your lane that there is absolutely no doubt in your mind that you deserve a sale.

You're not pining for it, you're not wishing for it. It is arrived because it's calibrated with your system. So I wanna really show up in that energy this year. Talk to you all about, you know, how you can make this shift because, you know, like in 2025, the biggest shift I made in my business wasn't, oh, I created a brand new funnel.

Or, oh my gosh, like I totally reinvented my branding, which I accidentally did towards the end of last year. If you go to my Instagram, you'll see my new colors and everything. None of that actually led to me making sales every single day last year. And when I say that, I don't say it lightly. We did not miss a day of selling every single day.

What I'm really proud of is because I was in this mode of fearless experimentation. A lot of it was just like, I'm gonna try this and see what happens. And throughout the year, more of the income that was coming in was more passive and definitely more of it was coming through passive digital products, whether that was a PDF or whether that was a course or whether that was.

Like a, a mini class of some kind and less and less of it was through one-to-one coaching, um, popup groups and things like that where I had to deliver live. I actually only did one live group last year, which was really fun, but also confirmed a lot of things for me. The rest of it came from a handful of high, high, high ticket private clients and also a handful of, um, you know, like one-off consulting gigs and my mastermind.

So that's something that I also really want to share that, like that strategy around how that's gonna float. Not in this episode, but I will talk about it in future episodes as well. But what I do really want to focus on is sort of this like big picture energy of. The seven internal and structural areas that most entrepreneurs and business owners don't ever really look at in detail.

And I'm gonna help you walk through these because these were the areas that I looked at in 2025 that helped me release a lot of old belief stuff and help me really unblock my daily sales receivership. And so I'm excited because this episode is really, it's, it's meant to absolutely help you clear up a lot of maybe the dustiness that you felt that you've carried from last year, but also to really take a fresh perspective and looking at it like a compass.

And if you are someone, honestly who's been thinking Rubes, I know that my business works. I have evidence of this. Clients have come in, they've said, yes, I've actually made a lot of sales in the past. I've actually had a pretty good year last year, but. What you are really coming to me for and why you're so interested in episodes like this is because, you know, something is not moving in the business the way that you would like it to.

And that could be daily sales, that could be, you know, finding more flow state. That could be being more in your energy, that could be being more in alignment with your ideas. Activating creativity, which is such a big part of flow state. Maybe it's finding that joy in playfulness again. And that's what I really wanna help you uncover because you know what the, the truth, the, the real, real about making sales in your business, whether it's daily sales or monthly sales or whatever you are attuned to.

And before we go into any of the seven areas, I want to clear something up with you. The reason why I talk so much about daily sales, regular sales, you know the way in which you show up every day and why I keep saying things like, every time you post on social media, you should get paid. Every single time you show up for your business, there is no way you are not receiving money.

There is no way you are not receiving clients, right? Like you run a business, you are opening up a. How depressing would it be if you had a cafe or I don't know, a restaurant and nobody walked through those doors? Somewhere along the way you've picked up a belief system that it's okay for you to do that, and it's normal for you to actually have a day with not one single client inquiry, and I know that that's not what you want.

Nobody wants that when they're starting a coaching, mentoring, or teaching business. Of course not. You are a teacher at heart. You are a leader at heart who wants to lead a room with zero people in it. Why have you decided and settled on this belief that when you post something, it's gonna be like going out to the abyss?

You've given all of your power up to the algorithm. You've decided that it's not, you know, today's not the day for you to make sales 'cause you don't feel like it. I wanna say right now that daily sales is really not about making money every single day. If that is what you are here for, then it's, I'm sorry, I'm, I think I'm gonna disappoint and you've missed the point because daily sales is about how you are creating an internal response to your work.

How much you believe in your work, how much you are in alignment with it, how much you're in embodiment with it, that there is no other option or result in the physical world, except that clients, people that are showing up in your world are like, dude, I really need help, and everything you are saying right now is exactly what I need.

Okay, so think about the response. Daily sales is a responder to your message, your clarity and your energy. And how you might see this is also maybe like internal to begin with. Like if you are saying, I'm ready for daily sales. I'm ready to receive what I know is worthy and what I deserve, you are also saying, you know what, like there will be a response to my clarity.

There will be a response to the consistency of my signal. There will be a response to the the work that I put behind regulating my nervous system. And my energy all of last year, I've shed all the shit that I don't need anymore, and I've decided that whenever I put myself out there, my signal and my frequency is so clean that the business responds in a way that you don't need to force a single thing.

Because as one of my amazing clients would say to me, Justine is like in the past, she used to brute force her way through daily sales, all through just making a sale. Now it's about creating the foundations so strong because your signal is so, so evident that people can't help but go, Hey, I really need your help.

Where do I sign up? How do I give you all the money that I have? What is it that you can offer me because I'm ready to work with you? All right, so in that energy. I'm gonna talk very briefly about seven areas and then I'm gonna get you to do the deeper work and hang on. 'cause I'm gonna share with you how you're gonna do the deeper work and it's free.

Like I'm not gonna be like, now join my $5,000 program. It's, this is free, but I need you to listen to this first before I tell you how to do this work with me. Okay? So the first area that we must look at, okay, we cannot ignore this part because this is the part. That I think a lot of us here kind of sweep under the rug and go, oh yeah, I'll deal with that as some other time.

Like maybe when you know, I have more clarity, I'll deal with that. This is energy. Okay? Energy is everything. Say it out loud. Energy is everything. Energy shows up in ways that you cannot put words around, but it's felt. Both your clients feel it. You feel it, like all the things right? No matter how much you try and tell people how you're feeling, if your energy is speaking louder, which it always does, people know that your words are empty or your words are not true.

And that includes believing in your work. That includes believing that you are deserving of having a really freaking abundant business this year. Okay? So what I wanna say is that if you have felt at all that your energy is mismatched, and when a mismatch happens. What's actually happening in a physical format, but also when it comes to your flow state, is it's signaling that your intention is in the future, which is wonderful.

That's our vision boards. That's what we talk about with our friends. But your emotional state is rehearsing the past, past evidences that things haven't worked out. Past memories that you haven't made, any sales past moments where you felt like you absolutely failed a launch or flopped this and you know, fucked something else up.

So you are rehearsing that emotional state where you haven't done good enough or you haven't done anything at all. And therefore what happens is you cannot flow because your body, your bodily reactions is literally keeping you stuck in that emotional state. So I want you to know that if you are not making sales at the moment, or if you are telling yourself that sales are hard, it's probably because you are emotionally rehearsing an old identity that sales are hard.

So therefore your energy and your alignment needs massive work and I can help you with that. Now, area number two, we're talking my now not money as in earning because I think this is where a lot of entrepreneurs. I like so focused on, I need to make more money. I need to hit my launch goals. I need to hit my monthly goals.

I need to hit my, my whatever, my yearly goals, money. Listen close now. Please listen to this. Money is not meant to regulate you, okay? This means just because money is coming in, it doesn't mean that your nervous system is chill. For a lot of people I work with, as soon as money comes in, it actually spikes like all of their chemicals that makes them even more anxious.

Go figure. And that's because your relationship with money is conditional on happiness and you are pinning all of your happiness and success and energetic highs on money humming in. Now, don't get me wrong, I love money. I love that it provides my family with the comfort. You know, with luxuries that I know like we can afford with the amazing choices that we get to make because money is in our lives, but money does not control me and it does not regulate me because this is why, and this is what really changed for me in 2025.

Money no longer regulated me because I regulated myself first. Okay. Now when I say regulated, some of you will have a good relationship with that word. Others of you are like, what does that even freaking mean? It just means that you are in a place of neutrality. You are neutral around it. Okay? You're not like spiking and then dipping.

You are not up and then down. You are not taking this rollercoaster ride and therefore you are unregulated. You're just neutral. Hey, you should see my amazing stepson who's on a rollercoaster. He has literally like no emotions. He's just like, woo. I'm just like, how do you do that? In the meantime, screaming my face off and he's like a teenager, just like, dude, just calm down.

I'm like, I can't hold my hand. Anyhow. You know what? Okay, so I, this is how it will feel in your body. When money feels neutralized and regulated. Sales will begin to feel like a given. This morning I woke up to about, I don't know, $180 us. Little fun Sales came through overnight. That's really nice.

Beautiful. Thank you so much. But it feels not like, oh my God, it just feels like, of course, of course. It's coming through. Like I see my, um, my Slack notifications and I see sales come through Slack. 'cause that's the way we've set it up. But even as I log into my system in the morning, I can see people are like messaging saying, Hey, I am really interested.

Should I get this? Should I not? You know, people are DMing me on Instagram. I just bought this. I'm like, cool. Feel stable. Profitable decisions also are a given. Therefore, you know when to invest in something and when to not. So I know a lot of you at the start of this year, you're wondering, do I invest in a mastermind?

Do I invest in a coach? Do I invest in a consultant to help me with ads? Do I invest in a tech system? You're not ping ponging around. You're making very good decisions because. You are regulated, you are clear with it. Your money knows where it wants to go to help you grow. Okay? So if you wanna explore this further and you want to learn how money can stay longer and expand in your energy and expansion also becomes cleaner and less like.

Dopamine spiky, then I can definitely help you with that. Also, the third area is your messaging. I actually just did a huge, amazing few weeks with those of you who were in Monetize Your Message with me. I'm so excited. I'm going to, oh my gosh, speak a lot more about messaging this year. But you know, where I really saw a lot of my clients inside of that group get stuck was they were treating their message.

In a way that would fit the current algorithm, right? Think about how you are doing that. Also, there's so many tips and advices and myths and things you should do and shouldn't do, and every single time you are thinking. I need to present it this way. I need to do it this way. Your message dilutes more and more and more.

I want your message to show up, like the authority that it wants to be, like the lighthouse, that it wants to be beaming out to your people who need help the most. Okay? This is what I really want you to know. Your message trumps the algorithm. Right now, if you are treating the algorithm like an authority that needs to understand you, that's the wrong relationship to be in with content.

You are not here to make the algorithm understand you. You are here to train the algorithm to understand your signal so strongly that only the most amazing aligned people come your way. And this happens through repetition of your message. And I know it sounds really boring. I promise you the way that I do it is not boring, and I'm gonna show you how to do that.

It is also through emotional consistency. So again, you are rehearsing the truth in your message and not rehearsing past failures or perceived past failures. And also it happens through unedited. Okay? Un AIed expression. I really mean that I, I've actually done like a big AI detox. Big, big, big AI detox. I think a lot of us are in that, like, let me know actually on Insta, if you're doing that too.

I've just stopped using chat GPT to write my stuff. Like, yes, I loved it because it saved a lot of time. It would literally like spit out slabs and slabs and paragraphs and paragraphs of content. But in the last, like I'd say six weeks, I have been weaning, weaning, weaning off it, that now every single social media post I've put out there is literally just me typing into my notes app, old school 2020 style.

And that feels really good because. I am choosing for my unedited expression to be stronger than what, you know, a robot's telling me how I need to write in order to reach more people. I just really reject that belief. I wanna talk about leverage. Okay, so leverage is the next theme. And what does leverage mean to you?

If we're in person, and I just asked you what, what does that mean? Answer that out loud. If you're driving in the car, if you're at the gym. What does leverage in your business actually mean and how does it exist? So leverage to me is my wonderful assistant, miss Deb, I love you so much. Who's editing this podcast, right?

And putting it up for me? Leverage to me means $5 ads. Leverage to me means systems that helps me increase my average order value without me needing to push any more sales onto anybody else. So this is the average order value thing is basically I can market a $27 product, but my client leaves a cart and checks out with $400.

How does that happen? The systems just help make that happen. Now, obviously you need products. That's gonna be amazing. But these are the things that help me leverage my time. And if you are just going through this right now and you're going, oh my gosh, I'm really scared of ads. I'm really bad at tech, I'm really not ready for team growth.

All of that may be true, but it may also mean that you are scared of losing the identity that kept you safe. And how this shows up. I know I know this really well because this is what I had been through. Okay. I would say things, if you are scared of leverage, you are saying this, okay, I can do this myself.

I can do it faster. By the time I get someone on board and I try and delegate things, oh, I may as well just have used that time. You know, I could have done it all on my own. I know how to make it work manually, so why do I need a system to help me do that? If something breaks, I know that I can easily fix that.

And having like a bigger, larger system is scary because I don't know how to fix that. So I'll just stay exactly the way that things have been and that's fine. And also, you know, when it comes to hiring someone, you are so, so close to exactly what they're doing every single hour that you are like spending more energy calculating their productivity than actually using that leverage of time.

To boost your money flow and the ability for you to make more sales and the ability for you to have more freedom in your content because 90% of your day is like, Hey, like what have you done? Imagine if I, if I was like that with Deb and I'd be like, Hey babe, I've just paid you your invoice. Can you tell me like exactly what you did every minute, minute on, minute, hour by hour, and, and I need to tick everything off and approve everything, and then I'm gonna try and find ways that you can do it faster so I don't have to pay you more.

What a waste of leverage. Okay. You don't grow into leverage, you surrender into it. Think about that and we are gonna explore lots of areas around why you're scared of leverage. Okay? We are at flow State. My entire philosophy, my entire ethos is Flow State, flow state business, podcast. What do you know? And the biggest misconception I hear over and over to do with Flow State.

Is that flow is in action. Flow is sitting down, meditating, you know, being in a state where you're not doing anything and just letting things flow around you, eh, incorrect, wrong, could not be more against my whole belief around flow state because flow is not the absence of action. Flow is action without internal resistance.

Flow is precise. Execution flow is the folding of time flow helps you accelerate into new areas of your life and business that you never thought possible. Because what's happening is that you are surrendering into the things that you are actually meant to do as opposed to the things that you feel you have to hang onto.

So if you're feeling like flow is an action taking, then what's happening is that your body prefers familiar stress over unfamiliar ease. Even if stress is exhausting, you are still choosing that. So I want you to intrinsically, intimately know your flow state in 2026. This is the upgrade that allows you to go bigger without burning out.

Anyone that you've ever heard, ever, ever, ever, ever say, I've been in burnout, I'm in creative burnout. I don't know what to say, I feel locked. Nothing's coming through. It just means that they are in the absence of flow state because they are picking a familiar emotional state of stress and worry and anxiety over an unfamiliar emotional state of ease.

And that's where I'll leave it because we're gonna dig much deeper into this. I think this is really gonna help the majority of you unlock the next thing, which is consistency. Okay? This is where I sound like a school teacher. Consistency is not hammer, hammer, hammer, hustle, hustle, hustle. Do, do, do. Okay?

Consistency is in my philosophy anyway. The way that I teach the daily sales method is, oh, never ever go quiet. Please. Okay. In 2025, I posted way less. I did way less work. I hardly had a single like calendar event that I had to meet except my mastermind and the one group program that I ran and the handful of my high ticket clients.

That's it. But what I'm saying here is that you do not need to do more in order to be consistent. What you do need to be consistent is a low effort. Continuity rhythm or a signal that runs even when you're not able to be on. So this could be like, let's say if you are, if you've got any intention this year to work a lot less.

Okay. Firstly, why do you have that intention? It sounds sexy, it sounds amazing, but what's the purpose behind that? Is it because you're growing a family, you're about to have babies, duh. Like, sorry, but you're not gonna be able to work as much as you did without kids. Is it because you've decided this is the year of more travel?

And you're gonna be a digital nomad, you know, six months of this year and you, you literally cannot be on as much. You dunno what signal you've got, et cetera. Okay? So whatever that looks like, I want you to think about why consistency is important to you and also the beliefs that you've matched to that.

So if you're going, oh my God, like the reason why Ruby's made millions of dollars in her business is because she's posting so much. I met, um, a mom the other day at one of Teddy's Sports Clubs and she's like, Ruby, I follow you. And I was like, oh my God, that's so amazing. Love that. And she goes, oh, I've just gotta say you are a machine.

You put so much content out there, I don't know how you do it. It just exhausts me, like not my content, but you know, her thinking about her own content. She's also a business owner. And she's like, oh my God, like I just look at your stuff. And I went through it the other day and I was like, oh my God, she's just, she, she's just so consistent, but how do you pump so much out?

And I said to her, babe, like, I've literally only posted twice this week. And then if you look back at like my whole year, I'm posting maybe three times a week and that's it. That's all I've been doing. So this is what I mean about that low effort, continuity signal. It feels loud and it feels present to others, but to you, you are actually doing way less.

Why we go back to the previous point around flow state. Okay? So if you are thinking you have to constantly be on and you have a belief system that in order for you to be successful on social media, in order for you to be successful as an entrepreneur, you need to be so on all the time that there's a level of sacrifice that you need to make around your family and things that are important to you.

I want you to know that you can remove the all or nothing cycle. Please know you are not gonna be punished for your pauses. I was rewarded for my pauses. I was rewarded for not posting every single day, three times a day. You know, I've seen advice out there that you need to be posting three or four times a day in order to get ahead.

No, like that to me feels like a punishment. You need to know that when you show up with intention, consistency takes the lead. Okay, and the timelines around that are irrelevant. This is why I personally, I know some of you really need this, but please just take whatever pinches of salt work for you here.

This is why I believe that when you have things that are like really restrictive around consistency, like hugely time blocking every single minute of your day, or needing to like constantly have, you know, 30, 60, 90 day content plans planned out to a tee, like. Are you punishing yourself? You need to ask yourself that.

Or is it keeping you, you know, away from what you are meant to be doing unapologetically. And I just wanna talk about that a lot more. I wanna just open that up because now we're gonna integrate. So finally, we need to integrate. And I know that this is a lot that I've spoken about, but I hope that everything that I've said is like, oh my gosh, like, yes, yes.

I wanna. Assess that. I wanna order that. But there's gonna be some areas, like if you think about this as like a flywheel, there's gonna be some areas of the flywheel that you're like, I'm good with that. I'm actually really good with profitability. I'm really good with consistency. I'm working on my flow state, but God, like my messaging and my leverage work is shit.

Like I need to do something about that. Fantastic. But I also wanna make a very clear point here. Please know that when you integrate in this way, the way that I'm gonna teach you, the way that you are gonna make sales every single day is not about adding more to your plate. It is not my intention.

Integration for daily sales, and especially doing it in flow state, is actually about subtraction. It's actually about subtraction, not addition. Okay? We're not adding more. We're actually simplifying. We're actually dismantling, we're actually removing. We're actually just taking every single idle thing out of the business flow right now, and things that drain your freaking energy because they're there.

I've got this. I've got this for you. Have you got this for you? Okay. Now, if you've got this far, more than likely, your business is already. It's doing okay. You're listening to this going, I fully understand this language. If you've stopped at any one point going, yeah, but Rube Iss like, I'm not even making money.

I don't even have enough to buy $5 ads. And to have that leverage and consistency is just not something I can really commit to right now, because I'm working three jobs. I've got four kids, three dogs, and two horses to attend to. Then there's a whole other conversation that we need to have around.

Running a business and what that means and your dedication to it. But again, it's not about doing more. It's how you're showing up intentionally for it. Okay. So for those of you where you are listening to this and you're going, you know what? My business already knows how to move. I have the things to make sales.

They're just not as flowy as I would like them to be. Then what I want you to do is to go down to the show notes, 'cause I've made something for you. And I wanna go deeper. I've created something to support you as you move through these seven areas so that you can start to unlock daily sales. And there's gonna be an email that comes to you every single day.

I've written this from scratch and my journal prompts, my personal prompts. Now, some of these are like, yeah, reflect and have a journal. Others of these prompts are like, go to your bank statement and look at this. So they're quite directive. Other things that I will ask you to do is to sit with. The energy and ask yourself very, very honestly, okay, why are you doing this?

Why do you have this emotional connection and this belief system behind how you're operating day on day? So then there's the energy work as well. Go and find the daily sales readiness challenge. I will help you unpack the seven core concepts. So we're just gonna go through that really quickly. Once again, this is the flywheel.

Okay. Energy, money, messaging, leverage, flow, state, consistency and integration. This is how we're gonna start the year off peeps. This is going to be so magical and I just also know that this is the year that you are gonna start to really create newness. We are in a universal year one, we're in the fire horse year, not quite yet.

Chinese year doesn't start for a little while. You know, like I'm, I'm excited for my moon cakes, but. I'm not seeing those just yet. Not happening just yet. It's February, but we can prepare. Okay. This is why I wanna help you. Really prepare because we are in it.
