This week begins a special 3 part episode on teenage mental health, a problem that seems to be ongoing world wide but I feel is hitting our community particularly hard.
In this first episode I interview Shefa Freedman a teenager from my community of Efrat, Rivky Krest the mother's perspective, Hadassah Pardes founder of Bet Daniella, and a short interview with an anonymous friend who provides details of several organizations in Israel that offer considerable benefits here in Israel that many not be familiar with.
This week's Torah extro is given by Rav Yoni Rozensweig founder of Maagalei Nefesh. In the coming weeks we will hear from several therapists who work with adolescents as well as a holistic healer who can identify things in blood work that can mimic mental health issues, and finally a functional Psychiatrist.
