Dan is a Public Information Officer at the San Mateo County Transit District.
A Bay Area native, Dan grew up in San Mateo, and currently resides in Hayward. He is a proud graduate of Knox College, and spends his free time chasing after his twin sons and obsessing about food to no end.
Randol brings a rare blend of experience, energy, and enthusiasm to Wheel Talk. Over his 25+ years as a broadcast journalist, he’s interviewed more than 10,000 people — most of them live on TV or radio — and still loves a good question as much as a good answer. A lifelong bike and transit commuter, he now serves as public information officer for the San Mateo County Transit District.
His off-duty passions? Hot sauce, senior-dog adoptions, travel, and the Oxford comma. His life goal: mastering Spanish.
A Bay Area native, Randol is a proud graduate of Cal Poly SLO and Humboldt State. He and his husband make their home in downtown San Francisco, where they enjoy city walks and exploring the world’s transit systems one trip at a time.
