Music. Welcome to the Homebody Podcast. My name is Mary Grace and here we explore big questions in embodied ways. These conversations intersect the mystical, the practical, and the artful, bridging a range of topics such as astrology, creative practices, what healing can look like, and cultivating deep love and care for the more-than-human world. We not only want to live better, but live more fully, with more connection, courage, and creativity in our day-to-day lives and work. And this podcast asks, what are the ways we can do that? We hope to enliven you and inspire you towards possible regenerative futures, and we hope to encourage you so together we can become dynamic agents of beauty, fully awake, fully alive to all that life has for us. We want to be here for ourselves and for one another with more grace while making room for curiosity, sensitivity, hope, and joy. If you enjoy today's episode, please take a few moments to share it with someone else. And thank you so much for listening. Music. Hello, hello, and welcome to the podcast. Today we're going to dive into or traverse over the astrology for the upcoming month of March 2023. So we're going to just try to gently walk through a pretty epic month ahead that's full of a lot of changes. And because there are a lot of changes, we're going to focus most of the energy on some of the more epic shifts that might potentially have a greater impact for a longer amount of time and cover some of the smaller transits or changes of signs a little more quickly just to continue to respect your time and stay within what we would like to record and also the amount of attention that we're asking from you. So we have a lot of momentous seismic shifts happening this month. We have Pluto, Saturn and Mars all changing signs. It's definitely a month where I think, you know, we'll start to feel like the ground under our feet changing. Maybe some paradigms that we've taken for granted may begin to alter, there will be large amounts of collective change initiated and things that we'll see play out for a couple many decades to come. We also have the spring equinox with the sun moving into Aries. Venus will enter Taurus, among other things. And then we'll have the new moon in Aries and the full moon in Virgo. So a lot of meta shifts. We're still going to try to get as much as we can into this episode. And if you find it useful or helpful or you enjoy it, please take five seconds to text the episode to a friend and share with someone who would also enjoy it. If you hear me say something in the episode like this, the Pisces house of your chart or this area of your chart, you're not really and share what the houses are or what that means, be sure to head into the show notes, look up the houses cheat sheet and sign up to get it delivered to your inbox. It's free and it also comes with a short video just showing you what that means, how to use the free chart to help you decipher what that means for you and just get a little more nuanced information as to how it could relate to your chart and your life specifically. Each month at the beginning of the month, we also have a free Astro Meetup, which is the first Wednesday of each month. When this episode comes out, we will have just had our one for March. But that being said, when you sign up, you'll get notified each month when there's one coming up. So you can head to the show notes and sign up to join us for Astro Meetup. All right, I think with that, let's take a deep breath. Let's begin the practice of regulating through these big changes and let's dive into the month of March. Music. During the first week of March, there's yet a lot of change, but on March 2nd, we'll have Venus and Jupiter going to come together in Aries, and then Mercury and Saturn will come together in Aquarius. And Venus conjoining Jupiter and Aries, so we're in a sign of Mars, is a really big, you know, we have the two benefics coming together. Potentially offering potential for harmony or agreement, maybe even desires for peace or coming together, or bringing a sense of reward or bounty some sort of boon that comes with acting Aries-like, potentially taking a lot of big, bold risks or initiating or even doing things that have a more martial quality to them, potentially things that are related to war or violence potentially. And then Mercury conjoining Saturn and Aquarius. As Saturn is about to change signs, this is sort of the last sort of significant coming together that Saturn is going to have in Aquarius. So when Mercury comes with Saturn there's going to be more of a hardness or harshness to the messages. They're going to be more of a serious nature in tone. The messages might be heavy-laden or super important or be talking about something that's going to unfold over a long duration of time. And then right after Mercury can join Saturn, Mercury will enter Pisces. When mercury enters pices it's entering a sign where it's considered in detriment and it's also in fall and so what that means is that normally we rely on mercury to do things like. Organize analyze optimize bring data and information together with like clarity and efficiency like learning etc and in pices which is a sign that's more interested in and magic and spirituality and fantasy interested about sort of the clarity in the organization of everything and it's more interested in the connectivity of everything so mercury maybe i'm less interested in how ordered the spreadsheet is more interested in like songwriting or poem writing or prayers even. So it's not to say that Mercury can't do anything in Pisces. In my opinion, it is very important work. And some of my favorite writers have Mercury in Pisces. But the things that Mercury will be about, the messages that Mercury is communicating, might be things that sound more like code or some secret special language to the rest of the world when we're used to relying on math equations and spreadsheets to get that kind of work done. On Tuesday, March 7th, we have a pretty big day. We'll have Saturn changing signs and entering Pisces and then we'll also have the full moon in Virgo. So let's talk about the full moon in Virgo first. The full moon in Virgo will be ruled by Mercury who is in Pisces like we just spoke. And so normally, you know, when we think about these Virgo qualities, we're thinking a lot about humility. We're thinking a lot about mastery. We're thinking about getting better at things, sort of like the peak of optimization and efficiency and mastery and making something perfect. But as we already spoke about mercury and Pisces, there being an opposite signs, Pisces is really the opposite of that. It's embodying a lot of different cares and concerns, or it's going about those concerns in a very different way. Whereas Virgo is going to like go about refining it and working on it, perhaps in the more craftsman like way and Pisces it's gonna be more like doing it in in ceremony or chanting or prayer or some sort of other magic thing so there may be a lot some things getting lost in communication potentially potentially thinking about what messages right like things getting soggy or spilled or misconstrued or, some needing some sort of clarity but it's coming through with a language of like symbol and myth something that's gonna require some level of embodiment or surrender in order to understand it or in order to embrace the change. And that doesn't mean one is better than the other symbolic languages are amazing for profound truths, for story, for articulating those things that are really... Ineffable really about our existence which are all true but they may struggle with specificity which is something that moon and verco is probably gonna really crave so mercury and pices is gonna be really busy on the profound mercury and pices is gonna be busy going about letting it go while the moon maybe perhaps trying to rain it in. Trying to be very like studios are preoccupied and i think that that's a really you know interesting thing to think about as well it's that where are the things that we normally try to rain in or get perfect to make better about. Are there any ways that that's stealing connectivity from us and what where are we on that spectrum are we putting too much on ourselves right when we could actually just like surrender and experience more as opposed to doing more and potentially suffering from some sort of isolation thinking about. Send an email out lately where i was just loving on a lot of more set and just think of that line from her song thank you the moment i let go of it was the moment i got more than i could handle. That feels related to this full moon in some way. And also the way that sometimes Virgo can be so concerned with something getting just right, that they end up putting too much on the plate. That sense of like, well, I'll just do it myself because I'm the only one who could do a good job. And that can be also very lonely, can steal opportunities for connectivity. And sometimes when we get to a certain level of excellence, the only way to continue evolution is to actually surrender and relax and find a level of expansion that only those modes can teach us as opposed to trying harder or making it more perfect. With that, we have Saturn and Pisces. That's also happening on March 7th, which is a really big shift. Saturn has been in Aquarius for a while, about two-ish, two and a half years. And so if you have Saturn and Aquarius and your natal chart, then your Saturn return is now officially over. Congratulations. And Saturn is going to be in Pisces until the spring of 2025. So if we think about the nature of Saturn, which is one, two, which is thinking of that which is old, that which is heavy, that which is totally fine, would things take a long time? I always think of these giant rocks or mountains always hold a lot of Saturn wisdom for me, way they're just kind of looking down on all these things that will be gone very soon compared to their relationship to time. And so we think about Saturn, who has been in a sign that they've ruled. They've been in capricorn they've been in a query is and when saturn is in their own sign they're sort of able to do whatever they want to do they can be as attorney and as possible because there's no one sort of checking in or limiting saturn's ability to you know. Be a saturn as they want and we spoke last month in the forecast episode mo use talked about it sort of like saturn having a boss because now saturn is going to be in a sign by jupiter which means that saturn's going to have to to some extent, be interested in the concerns of Jupiter and the values of Jupiter and also play a little bit by Jupiter's rules. Saturn sort of has to rely on the goodwill of Jupiter in order to accomplish some of their essential nature, some of the things that they want to do. So Saturn wants to bring, you know, create clear boundaries. Saturn wants to perhaps bring restriction or limitation or regulation or focus or clarity or endings or limits. And then when we put that in the realm of Pisces, which is generally a sign that's not interested in any of those things, it can be sort of like trying to herd cats, right? It may feel a little bit at first like, oh my gosh, all this order coming to something that is perhaps naturally lacking a lot of order. And that's not necessarily in a bad way, right? We think about, you know the ocean is a very pisian image right and the ocean is not made it has a sense of flow and rhythm and things that we can expect a sense of bounds but there are things that happen with the ocean that also remind us that it is wild and it is untamable um and it is you know it is super powerful and all of that. So it may be a little bit like how can we control like from Saturn's perspective, it's like this is a lot of chaos that needs to be controlled. And also Saturn having a boss like Mo said last month in the forecast with Saturn and soon to Jupiter. Perhaps we might also see some softening of Saturn, right? Saturn can't be as harsh as they want to be. And so there's a way that Pisces might be able to offer a little more softness, a little more connection. I also think about Saturn's presence sometimes being a way that we take things seriously. So Saturn coming into Pisces, it's like, what are these Piscean things that we are now going to take seriously? It's like, oh, do you believe that magic can change the world? Well, what are you going to do about that? What sort of like discipline and regulation and ritual and routine are you going to show me that you're serious about that? And I think that there's something that could potentially be really exciting about that because Saturn is like, Oh yeah, well, what are you going to do about it? And I think that there could potentially be some really powerful medicine there. For those of us who are those who, you know, who tend to be in the more spiritual realms and can also enter perfectly delighted to be in that realm and with those ideas and with those things. And Saturn's really bringing some focus and also like, well, what are you going to do about it? Really asking you to get serious about your life reflecting the things that you believe. I can also be bringing a lot of focus on religion or things of faith or spirituality so we might see some shifts around you know religious structures religious beliefs are how those things are engaging with the world we might you know saturn really wants us to. Confront what is real. And again in this sign that is also really holding a lot of the transcendent the more mystical to us it's not the mystical isn't real is just sometimes it speaks a different language and saturn's gonna want us to make those things real in that house in our chart in our lives. So potentially also thinking about, you know, water rights or, you know, the ocean or, you know, places that we that are surrounded by water. Saturn is going to potentially be bringing some more structure or some limitations and regulation to those things. We think I think of Pisces as being a very yes sign and Saturn being a very no planet. Pisces is very yes and both and Saturn is very no only this. So there might be some initial disagreements or some ripple effects that we really feel this epic shift under the ground, but potentially the overall effect of Saturn and Pisces could be balancing. So either some planets or angles that you have in Pisces, they could, because it's a very mutable sign and mutable signs, they're changing a lot. They have a lot of variation. There's a lot of iteration around them, but they can also lack direction and focus and therefore experience a lack of progress. And so sometimes they can sort of be like really scattered or like all over the place, because they're just so in that sort of connecting, iterative changing vibe. And so Saturn could be providing some helpful containers or struckers to bring more focus to those angles and planets, just how to say no to some of these things, which could at first feel very limiting and like, oh, this boundary is getting in the way, but it could also potentially help something that's not used to experiencing momentum, really experience that sense of more focus, more progress. Saturn really is going to want to. I guess part of focusing is also like simplifying as well and providing some clarity and sometimes we think more is more but sometimes less is more. I think that could be a lesson of Saturn and Pisces as well. I think there could also we could watch for a tendency to like isolate or seclude you know I think Pisces is very much a sign that's interested in at times retreating and being in the mountain or being in the spiritual pursuit. And Saturn also has a tendency to sort of be aloof or be far away. So there could be some of this sort of like a hermetic quality to it, I think, in pursuit of these like spiritual truths, which could also potentially, you know, be part of that conversation of Saturn being like, okay, so you've dabbled in this spiritual or mythopoetic suit, but now it's time to enter the temple. Now it's time to go to the mountain or swim to the island or really like embody or get serious about whatever those beliefs are, whatever that path is. So if whatever house Pisces is in your chart, Saturn is really going to be bringing some of their medicine, their presence, and their order, their gravitas to that area of your life. And particularly if you have planets, personal planets, angles in that sign, then that might be something that maybe shows up closer to home for you. Let's move into week three. So we sort of have some jumbly things going on at the beginning of week three. So we'll have, the Sun is going to conjoin Neptune, Mars will square Neptune, the Sun will square Mars, Mercury is conjoining Neptune and this is all sort of March 14th to March 16th. So there's a lot of Neptune involvement and also a square to Mars that's happening with Mercury and the Sun squaring Mars, as they're also conjoining Neptune. And so I think that, you know, in general, sort of this Mars squared Neptune, it might be, you know, if Mars is generally taking on this role of like divisive or decisive action and effort, and Neptune being something that potentially offers like cloudiness or haze, sometimes I think of the description of like a smoke screen, In relationship to Neptune here sort of like look over here. Well, actually this other thing is happening that potentially might be something that is going on here. But whatever it is, it might feel unclear. Right and Mars wanting to take action. But maybe not have all of the facts or maybe not have really clear information and then, you know, or taking something and then lying about it later, trying to cover it up like this idea of like covertness. Or either hiding bad behavior or potentially something that's acted on without all of the information. Because the sun is involved, there will potentially also be really important and visible people involved as well. And the sun is trying to shine light on it, trying to bring truth about the matter. But I think there's still a lot of confusion and conflict surrounding it. There might actually also be too much activity or so much communication going on that what's. Actually true make it lost in some of the disagreement or conflict. Amidst all of that, Venus will enter Taurus, which is her own sign. And I personally love a Venus and Taurus vibe. Venus has been in Aries going about the will and the interest of Aries ruled by Mars. And now she's back in a zone where she is in charge, where she's able to be as Venusian as she wants and Taurus is really rooted in the material, rooted in the body, rooted in the earthly. Venus and Taurus is fine spending the extra money on the more lux option, the more decadent experience. We don't only want to get together in sort of, I think of Venus and Libra, it's more of United Nations panels and ideas, but Venus and Taurus is like, where is the dinner? Where is the flowers? Where is the abundant food and the feel-good clothes. So it can have a very romantic, like, midsummer nights dream quality to it. Also very artistic in finding these ways to bring material pleasures, these material touches of beauty and embodiment to the things that we're going about. And this is a great time to pursue that or experiment with that. Those resources will be really available for those kinds of experiences while Venus is in Taurus. Let's skip forward to March 19th, where Mercury will enter Aries. And so we move from this more priestly poetic Mercury to Mercury and Aries, which is again the sign of Mars. And so now the messages that Mercury is sending, or it might, they feel like it's like that room in the war movies where they're sending Morse code. You can tell I watch a lot of more movies, I don't. But there's like Mars code involved. And they're kind of messages about conflict and locations of enemies and sort of like aggressive messages, potentially that communication may have a more, it may be more easy to inflame, might be more argumentative. And it might be discussions that are more about conquering or competing, thinking about some of the military and things that are are going on in the world right now, having a lot of discussion and data and messaging around those matters. The following day, the sun will enter Aries, which also marks the spring equinox. It's something a little more meta about that. It feels like the equinox is really the suspense, this fleeting moment of equilibrium or equanimity between these opposites of day and night. Pisces where the Sun has just been isn't really want to draw those kinds of distinctions and Pisces all is one day and night Are the same right? It's more of a like guru approach to those kinds of truths But in Aries there's a more divisive and distinctive nature where it's like no they are separate and for today they are equal. So we're now landing in an environment with the Sun that that asked the Sun to be bold and bright and to have shiny shields and wield weapons with skill i really think of the sun and areas a lot that's very. Really getting okay with the heroic destiny of the self and being okay with being in the hero and really stepping into the heart And the courage that is necessary to be that. It's like Sun and Aries is not tolerating like that sort of That like a victim approach to our life And well, I think there there are ways in which we are victims. At times in different stories and some people more than others the sun and Aries is really going to be like, to what extent, to what degree can we flex around this? To what extent, to what degree can we become a hero in this story? And which is a conversation that's interesting. And as the light in the Northern Hemisphere, at this point, the light increases and we really enter the kingdom of the sun where there is now more and more light as we move towards the middle of the year. Venus will also conjoin the North node about this time, which feels like it's sort of like turning the volume up on the Venus and Taurus action, all the things that we talked about a moment ago. So it could be a very Venusian moment in the world. Maybe there's a big like gala or party or art moment in the world, or maybe one of Venus's people really sort of rises to the public eye in that moment, or we see sort of the concerns of Venus elevated in the world or amplified in some way. With the North node there is also a tendency to really overdo a thing so I think being aware of that as well it could be a tendency to move too big too much too fast around it so just know that as well. On Tuesday March 21st we have the new moon in Aries and so it's the moon in Aries at zero degrees and. It feels very, you know, when the sun enters Aries, we're at the sort of like the beginning of the astrological year. It's also a practice where we can look at the chart of the Aries ingress when the sun first enters Aries and sort of see what we can expect for the next astrological year. Now we have the moon coming in pretty closely after that. So we're really at the. The first sign, the first degree of that. So it has a very sort of hyper newbie feel to me. It's sort of like that just the excitement of just a very newness, a very excitement, sort of like just being born this very raw energy that can also be very excited, can also be very activated, can be very heroic and interested in the self-becoming, sometimes too much. But also because it is a sign ruled by Mars, could also, where do we find like the warrior in that? And I know sometimes we can have trouble with this idea of like the warrior archetype in a world that we're really craving a lot more peace. But I think too, there is something too, like we act differently when we know we could defend ourselves. I think we act differently when we feel that sense of embodied power that makes us like physically powerful, that makes us spiritually powerful or feeling that power in our bodies in some way. And the some of the somatic work that I've done and learned over the past few years that people who have either historically or in this life also felt a severe lack of power, there can be a lot of healing that comes to the nervous system in general when we are then holding. Some more of that fight or flight energy because it's been so debilitated or so sort of low in volume. When we turn that up, when we feel that power in our bodies, that capacity to run or that capacity to fight or that capacity to really stand up for who we are and protect what we care about, there is some healing that can happen as well. This particular decan of Mars, it's associated with the Two of Wands, and T. Susan Chang was writing about it, and I want to quote her here. She says, with this iron plow or cultivator, the spring farmer must break a soil crusted over by winter's inertia. The sperm must break the wall of the ovum for the new life to take hold. In this first act of rupture and planting, a whole life cycle takes root. That's why we see the entire globe held into the hand of the Two of Wands. You can call it planting time, or you can call it spring cleaning. You can call it a paradigm shift between the old world and the new world. You can stress the destructive power of this space or its power to fertilize. Point is there is no looking back. So it has a lot of boldness has a lot of courage which for me always feels like we're just talking about hurtfulness in our capacity to be the fullness of ourselves with our hearts on board which is something that i am always interested in. I think it with the sun and the moon kind of moving through here as well thinking about more of like the world stage and all these things we had with there is work going on there's like a lot of like conflict and tension in the air. And so thinking to that like Jupiter moving through here as well, you know, there's a lot of like opportunities that people making money off of war or making money or rewards off other bold impulsivities or reaping benefits in some way, or creating opportunities through this divisiveness or potentially saying yes to these more martial agendas. And so just to remember that that is happening as well. Let me move into the last week of March. And here we have Pluto will enter Aquarius on March 23rd, and then Mars will enter Cancer on the 25th. So let's talk about Pluto and Aquarius first. So this year, Pluto will enter Aquarius and it's just sort of a short visit. Pluto will be here till June 11th. They're going to hang out at zero degrees Aquarius the whole time and then go back and enter Capricorn for a little bit longer. In 2024, Pluto will enter Aquarius more permanently or more long-term. And Pluto has been in Capricorn for about 15 years. And if we think about the qualities of Pluto, we think of like the god of the underworld. We think of these associations with that which is, you know, underground, dark or unseen, but also very powerful, usually associated also with a lot of wealth and a lot of power. And so Pluto is the slowest outer planet. And because it is so far away, this is also this way, this like the farther a planet or a body gets from the earth, sort of the less that it cares about. Really it's a very some more like indifferent gays i'm where is we have something like the moon which is very much like you like mother and body and moods and feelings like as personal as it can get the pluto is so far away just like you as a person use it. As an individual is really like not caring it's too far to really see your give a shit in that way. But we have the slower outer planets. So it tends to, we look at it for more collective things, things that happen as a society at large, things that happen to the planet at large. And because it's more rare that Pluto changes signs, then there's also, we could think of more of like a big boom, right? There's more of like a ripple. There's a more significant impact than something like Mercury, for instance, who's kind of bopping around changing signs all the time. So Pluto really brings a gravitas, brings an intensity, brings like a catharsis to this area or idea or sign. And we will definitely see changes that are very long term changes that are enduring. And they are potentially changes that emerge from some sort of intense process or death rebirth process. I already mentioned that Pluto will be sitting at zero Aquarius this whole time, this 2023 chapter. And I think it's helpful to think of it as a chapter, though Pluto will just be here for a few months this first time, it is going to give us a preview or sort of like watching the movie trailer that's like a minute and a half and the true movie is like, you know, two hours long, we're still going to get sort of a sense of what that movie is about. And we're also going to get a sense that like this is coming. We're going to see some of those things put into effect. Some some of those ripples are going to start to happen. And also thinking about zero Aquarius is also the same degree where Saturn and Jupiter conjoined, which was also a very rare and epic transition and transformation that happened at the end of 2020 for the great conjunctions. So Pluto will be activating that same degree of Aquarius. And so bringing perhaps some of those themes that we saw that initiated or began at the beacon and 2020 at the end, sort of move into more of a collective or widespread power shift potentially. In Aquarius, you know, we have a sign that's interested in the organizations. The systems, the technologies, innovations, the structure, sort of like how the collective is like organized and things that are at least intended to benefit humanity, whether or not they always work out that way. So I think we'll see changes to these things. How do we organize as humans as collectives? What does society look like? What are some of these base structures and organizations that we rely on? It's an air science, how are we thinking about language and communication and ideas, technology, we're already seeing a lot of things, changing a lot of interesting questions coming up as AI is starting to become more mainstream. What it you know, I think it's also bringing to the four conversations about what does it mean to be human? And how is artificial intelligence something that will help humanity that can help the planet? Or is it something that's going to be more in service of late capitalism, which we already know is not in service of humanity or the planet? I'm hoping that it's you know, also is helping to pioneer more holistic renewable energy options that will benefit both humans and the more than human world. Obviously things that you know, the ways that we travel things that are super dependent on energy, thinking about even like airplanes or space travel, I think we'll see changes to money and currency as money. Increasingly become something that is more data. It's more of just like an idea. It's more of a technology than an actual thing. I'm potentially also seeing again these processes of big deaths and rebirth restructuring right there's ways that we take for granted these big organizations are these big platforms you know we just talk about silicon valley like. Yeah it's like this permanent thing but like you know is facebook permanent. Is instagram permanent and setter setter we talked about some of that in the great conjunction episode and it's interesting some of those things come up for me that was also around the time that i left social media. And I think some of those conversations or some of those things about like, you know, who owns our data, what is private, what is not private, what belongs to everyone, what belongs to you, how much control do we have over that, who's making money off of that. The word philanthropic capitalism has really been sticking with me as I think about or contemplate Pluto and Aquarius. These ways that people with a lot, a lot of money can sort of like pretend to be generous around something in a way that also just helps them gather and hoard more wealth. I think there is a way to have be rich or and be generous, but I don't know that like, you know, the tech billionaires are the ones modeling that for us. So I think we'll also see it might potentially a lot of like wealth change hands, some rebirths happening around that things that are sort of coming up from the surface, things that are going down things that are happening in unseen ways, right? If we think about wealth and what is underground, right? That could also be related to things around mining, but it could also be relating to underground activities, right? Or thinking about things like the dark web or intense amounts of power and money. Changing hands around all of that. We can have a whole episode for like, you know, an hour only talking about Pluto and Aquarius. So these are just to give you some ideas. If you have planets around zero degrees of fixed signs which would be Aquarius, Leo, I'm like totally blanking we have to go as well so if you have planets are personal angles around those zero degrees of those six signs and then potentially this might you know have some. Impact that land a little more personally but in general these are things that we may see more out in the wider world and sometimes when it's these outer planets they tend to be the things that we feel like are out of our control and. Well, I don't think everything is out of our control. Some things are and the Pluto and Aquarius shifts or even some of this, you know, even the big Saturn changing sign, they are so, they feel so big, so heavy and in some ways looming that there are things that really like we're going to have to adjust around as opposed to things that we feel like are directly in our control. And it may take some time, some regulations and deep breaths before we can sort of feel where we are as the reality is changing and then to refine what is within our control around that shift. Saturday, March 25th, we'll have Mars enter Cancer. Mars has been in Gemini since August of 2022 and will now finally change signs and enter Cancer. You all know who you are. We've talked about it. We're thinking about it. All of you people with Gemini stelliums are really excited to have Mars stop grinding over all these planets. Entering Cancer will put Mars in a square to Jupiter. And it's also, you know, Mars, it's like, it's still Mars in a place that they're not really doing great, right? Mars in cancer is still considered a more debilitated Mars. It's Mars in fall. So it's not, we're still not getting the super strong, capable Mars. They may still be maybe not behaving badly, but maybe behaving in error or behaving in a way where they're just not as strong or not as focused and is essentially having some frustration around that. We can also think of Mars embodying, you know, what are the things, what are the things that we're putting effort towards what are the things that we're fighting for? And in cancer, we're thinking a lot around the domestic realm, the realm of mothering, the realm of food, the realm of water, the realm of gestation and fertility in a sense. And I don't necessarily mean that just in regards to having babies. So this Mars in cancer could be more moody, more impulsive, more wavy. It's sort of like trying to do weight training on the waterbed, right? A lot of intense changes like the ocean, like feelings-based action-taking that may make it hard to find balance for more sustained or impactful actions. It's hard to be the warrior or be taken seriously and looking bold and fierce. In all of your weapons and confidence when you're also trying to walk on water. It might be a little clunky. So that being said you know the some of these more martial modes may or you know these roles are these kinds of people in the world maybe still and maybe undergoing less success or feeling less successful or experiencing a sort of a lot of change your title energy around what they're doing. Mars will be in cancer until mid-May when they will enter Leo, which will immediately put them in opposition to that Pluto and Aquarius. So that will be interesting, but that is for another time. On March 28th, Mercury will conjoin Jupiter. And that is in Aries. And so we'll have, you know, Mercury's cruising through Aries, through Mars' sign, conjoining Jupiter. Joining Jupiter, it's sort of like, you know, what are they making deals about? What are they agreeing about? What are they sending messages and conversations around? Well, in areas, it's probably around like weapons. It's probably around war. It's probably around these really like assertive, bold moves, right? And not surprising, like if money or sales are changing hands as it relates to those kinds of topics. And then on Thursday, March 30th will have Venus conjoining Uranus and Taurus. And that's like, again, this is Venus and her sign. And so this might be, I feel like Venus is just very, this feels like a moment of like surprise factor, but it's like her being powerful in that moment, maybe something that is dramatic or shocking or insurgent. But we think about it as sort of like, you know, the Empress rising to that occasion and being really like undisturbed while she shocks the world. So it feels like something potentially powerful and rebellious about her. And that really takes us to the end of March. I mean, and we really, you know, we could have spent a lot more time on all these different things, but also more is not always more, right? So we want to get a sense of like, what's the flow of the month? How is everything happening? You're welcome to come to Astro Meetup and we can talk about all. Of these things. But it's enough to understand that like, you know, we're going through seismic shifts, these major things like humanity is undergoing a big thing. I feel like sometimes I just get the sense that like the trees and the forest and the animals are all kind of like holding their breath. Like, is humanity going to shift? Like, which way are we going to go? And I feel like with some of these big things that are changing over the next, you know, this year, this month is probably one of the most epic and shift. But then over the next few years, we have a lot of big changes that have been happening and also will come. And I just feel like that's like, what is humanity gonna do? And that's gonna determine our future in a big way in the future of this planet and what's possible and so to find ways to be in practice and and surrender into like a saturn pices to take your magic seriously to take it matters that we stop. It matters that we surrender it matters but it also matters what we're surrendering to it matters how we engage with our hearts in the world and how we pulsate between that heroic bold Courage filled action and also when we retreat to the temple and light the candles and pray and do the magic and the ritual and all those things as well. Both of those are going to be a huge part of how we take action in the world and they can be prioritized equally that they are equally important. I'm not going to preach a sermon about it but I will leave us with that. Thank you for joining me. Reminders to take deep breaths, reminders to care for yourself, to regulate, maybe lean into some of that Venus and Taurus pleasure embodied Earthy energy this month to help us ground and connect with others and connect with ourselves and to connect with the pleasure as we move through some more epic changes about potentially what it means to be together and what it means to be human.
