Music. Welcome to the Homebody Podcast. My name is Mary Grace, and here we explore big questions in embodied ways. These conversations intersect the mystical, the practical, and the artful, bridging a range of topics such as astrology, creative practices, what healing can look like, and cultivating deep love and care for the more-than-human world. We not only want to live better, but live more fully, with more connection, courage, and creativity in our our day-to-day lives and work. And this podcast asks what are the ways we can do, that? We hope to enliven you and inspire you towards possible regenerative futures and we hope to encourage you so together we can become dynamic agents of beauty, fully awake, fully alive to all that life has for us. We want to be here for ourselves and for one another with more grace while making room for for curiosity, sensitivity, hope, and joy. If you enjoyed today's episode, please take a few moments to share it with someone else. And thank you so much for listening. Music. You probably noticed already that this episode is only a few minutes long, and that's because I wanted to just pop into your feed and let you know that the Homebody podcast will be taking a break from publishing new episodes for the next three months. So that means from June through August of 2023, I'll be brewing on new things for you, but I won't be publishing anything new on this podcast feed until the beginning of September, 2023. I took a three month long break last year and it was a very generative time for both me and the homebody ecosystem as a whole. And I hope that this is something that also gives you an invitation or a prompt or permission to explore what a break for you could look like over the next few weeks or months. Maybe it's big, maybe it's something small. It could be a break from a lot of things or maybe just a break from one thing. And I hope that it becomes a practice of sowing energy and ideas back into yourself and your work so that you can receive new insights and inputs and ideas. You can still listen to the podcast while we're on a break. In the show notes, you'll find a curated Spotify playlist of some of our favorite Homebody episodes that you can either revisit or tune into for the first time and listen to your heart's content. There's also other ways that you can stay in touch with us and know what's going on and coming up this summer. And here's some ways to do that. And for all the things that I'm talking about here, you can also find the links to easily access these below in the show notes. The first thing you could do is join my newsletter. And this is the place that I really consider my most intimate circle. And I'd love to invite you into that. It's the place that I really share the most personally and heartfully in general, but it's also where I share the most up-to-date offerings and services. I'm also taking a break still from more public-facing, one-on-one healing and ceremony work through through the August of 20 of 23. And those will probably resurface and be public facing again in September, but probably in a different format. So if you'd like to work with me in some capacity more personally, there's a few ways you can do that in the meantime. One is you can join us for Notion Nerd Nights and get on the list for living systems. And these are both programs and offerings that I run with my dear friend and collaborator, Amelia Fruby. Notion Nerd Night is a free monthly gathering for freelancers, creatives, and small business owners who want to use Notion, nerd out about it, ask questions, crowdsource, share creations. It's a very fun time and we meet on the second Wednesday of each month. And Living Systems is a cohort-based course that we're teaching this year. We're co-teaching. And our next one will run in September, so you can sign up to be notified when that drops. And we're also thinking of doing some one-off clinics over the summer on some more focused topics and so if you sign up to be on that list you'll get notified, about those when they pop up as well. In the show notes you can find the link to the water medicine quiz which hundreds of people have taken at this point and you'll learn your wild water archetype that can really point you in a direction that can help you bring more soul care into your self-care as a way of healing and creating and returning to yourself in a really deep and authentic way. Many. People have taken the water medicine course at this point and if you take the quiz, you'll get access to a coupon code for that course. And so many people have told me and just given me the most beautiful feedback about this course, that it really is just such a deep offering and calling from my heart. Sometimes when I feel confused or not sure what I should be making, I just returned to water medicine because I know that that's just really something that I'm here to bring to the world. It feels very aligned and very resonant and very true to what I'm here to offer to people. And so many folks have been very generous in their feedback and their comments, saying that water medicine has changed their life and brought home to themselves in a way that they didn't really know what they needed. So please investigate that over the next few months as well, whether it's just enjoying the free resources from the quiz or taking the course itself. This October, I'm hosting a small group in-person weekend retreat, actually. It's the first one that I'm doing through Homebody and we're calling it a water medicine retreat. And if it's something that you'd like to know more about and you would possibly like to join us, then please send me an email to hi at mgallardyce.com. It's going to be a very beautiful, spacious, communal, transformative time, and we only have a very few number of spots remaining and we want to make sure they go to the perfect people who'd love to come. If you need help with your internal systems or your Notion workspace, or you need a creative partner to sort of help you think through some issues popping up in your flow, you can check out my Third House Things page to see if those offerings could support you and your business. So we are excited to meet you on the other side of this break with some fresh perspectives and episodes, and be sure to check out the show notes for all of the resources and links that I mentioned. We wish you well. We hope you find some rest, joy, and peace wherever you are and whatever you're doing over these next few weeks. And I look forward to being in touch through our newsletter, past episodes, and other offerings greeting you on the other side. Peace. Thank you for participating in this conversation with us. If you enjoyed the episode, please take a few moments to subscribe to the show. Leave us a review and share the episode. These tiny tasks help our independent podcast so much.
