Spiritual Deep Dive is dedicated to the thoughtful exploration of Penimiyus HaTorah - the inner dimension of spirituality. Through clear, practical, and inspiring learning, each episode seeks to uncover timeless wisdom that strengthens our relationship with The Almighty, deepens our understanding of ourselves, and enriches our daily lives.
Most episodes are approximately 10ish minutes, offering a word-by-word journey through foundational works of Jewish thought and Chassidus, together with practical applications for living a life of greater purpose, joy, and connection.
Whether you are taking your first steps into these profound teachings or have been learning them for years, our hope is that these conversations will inspire continued growth in Torah, Avodah, and Ahavas Yisroel.

Rabbi Derek "Dovid" Gormin is an educator, musician, speaker, and lifelong student of Torah with a passion for making the depth and beauty of Penimiyus HaTorah accessible and practical for contemporary life. He serves as Managing director for NCSY and Founding Dean of the JSU Global Campus. Rabbi Gormin lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Sarah Leah, and their five ridiculously cute children.
He believes that every person has infinite potential and that authentic Torah learning has the power to awaken that greatness within each of us.
