D.Lee Scott (DeShawn) heads The D5 Group, a marketing firm that aids nonprofits, schools, municipalities, and government bodies. As a Professional Certified Marketer (AMA), he uses his life experiences, business management, and nonprofit leadership experience to help clients build authentic relationships with their audiences.

In 2019, spotting a creative gap in Warren, DeShawn founded Sound United Podcast Studio, a turnkey solution for professionals and creatives. Shortly after, he started "Sound United Presents Podcast," which is now in its fourth season and showcases people in the local community making an impact.

Outside of work, DeShawn values family time, teaching, art, and collecting chopsticks, bringing the same enthusiasm to his hobbies as he does to his business and career.
