Millennials and Government
Growing up uptown was always this fun place, between the block parties, cookouts, snowball fights and even fist fight uptown always had a buzz. Home to some of the best restaurants, most talented entrepreneurs and great small businesses; the Northeast Bronx is where its at and will always be! (I know I'm biased lol)
This week I caught up with a friend of mine newly elected Council Member Kevin C. Riley. I met Kevin in 2015 when I started as an intern with the New York City Council, and I have a front row sent to see his growth and expansion within his career. Kevin has always been a genuine, caring charismatic leader within our neighborhood. I couldn't see anyone els more fitting to talk about the role government plays in everyones lives, youth empowerment, entrepreneur empowerment and what the future holds for the newly elected Councilman.
