Just 'cause the powers that be stopped the original film series after the fifth installment didn't mean apes fans couldn't continue getting their fix via other means: a live action t.v. series, an animated series, comics, magazines, toys and more... then came Burton... then a new series !
Of course we (again) can't stop going into tangents that have NOTHING to do with the topic but.. hey.. that's us!
