MRI Spark And Detailed Care
SPEAKER_00Hey friend, I'm just getting back into the car after having an MRI, and I had to have an IV with basically dye to go into my body to help the imaging. And the nurse that was helping me explained everything in such detail. And she was like, um, you know, okay, squeeze this and put your arm here. You're gonna feel something cold, that's just the alcohol, then you're gonna feel the needle go in, it might feel a little bit cold, you might feel a little saline, um, like metallic taste in your mouth. Like she explained step by step by step what was going to happen. And I was thinking, that is so nice for just lots of human brains, but especially uh human brains like mine that have a little tinge of anxiety. Um, but our brains are sort of our brains want to know what's going to happen next because our brains want to know that we are going to be safe and that we are going to be okay. And so so many of my clients come to me wanting to take steps forward, but there is fear in the way of them taking steps forward, and their brain is sort of like shutting them down and not letting them take steps forward because their brain isn't sure that it's going to work out okay and that they're going to be safe. And so um, what I help my clients with is to know that we don't know we don't need to know step by step by step what's going to happen. We don't need to know every step of the process, but we do need to know that we are the safe bet, that you are the safe bet, that you are going to be able to figure out what happens next, no matter what happens next, because there are so many outcomes that we can't control and things that we don't know are gonna happen, and we think that we have this plan and we're gonna do A, then B, then C, then D. But guess what? Something happens crazy between B and C that we weren't expecting or weren't prepared for, but we know that we are going to get through it. And so when you can develop that self-trust and that belief in yourself that you are going to figure it out no matter what life throws in your way, then you are golden. And it's interesting that I had this thought today because also one of my clients uh in the past week told me that when I told her that she was the safe bet, that it literally changed her life and then it changed how she approaches business. And she uh just recently had a launch of a new product and it was uh I don't remember the number, but it was leaps and bounds beyond her wildest expectations in terms of sales numbers. And she said that she did that by just keeping on reminding herself that she is her safe bet. She doesn't need to know exactly what outcome is gonna happen here because no matter what that outcome is, she knew that she was going to be able to figure it out, that she has figured out everything in the past, all the way, all of these decades of life, she has figured things out, and this next thing is going to be no different. So, my message to you, friend, is yes, our brains want to know that all the ducks are in a row and they're gonna, you know, swim by in this exact order. Our brains want that and they crave that and that's okay. And you can also learn and develop this deep sense of self-trust that you are your safe bet, that no matter what life throws in your way, you are going to be able to cope with it, handle it, move on from it, overcome it, survive it, thrive after it. You are going to be okay. So I want you to just start thinking of that idea, start practicing that idea that you are your safe bet. Love you.
