Trend hopping creates the illusion of progress while weakening the habits that produce lasting results. In this episode, Kevin and Alan explain why quick fixes, new strategies, and constant novelty often distract people from the fundamentals that create real change.

They break down the difference between wanting a result and deciding to earn it, why consistency builds self-respect, and how long-term skill development leads to stronger health, confidence, relationships, and performance. The shortcut is not coming. Commit to the work long enough for it to work.

(0:00) I almost lose respect for people that come to me with a bunch of ideas of like, well this is what this person is doing, and this is what this person is doing, and this is this new thing, and you've probably never heard of this before, and this is going to be the key to success. (0:13) When in reality, I realize none of those things really matter nearly as much as this person.

Alan Lazaros

(0:17) I've said to Kevin in the past, social media will be around forever, TikTok might not. (0:25) I remember there was Clubhouse, that whole thing. (0:28) Stick to the fundamentals, and then allow trends to be supplemental.(0:32) Welcome to Next Level University.

Kevin Palmieri

Kevin Palmieri

(1:20) Next Level Nation today for episode number 2,510. (1:24) You will not trend hop your way to success. (1:29) I'm realizing that many of the clients that I am working with now are of a new caliber.(1:39) So they make more money, so they tend to invest more money in themselves. (1:43) Like they invest a fair amount of money in themselves. (1:45) Mm-hmm.(1:46) And there's usually, like there's certain tells with clients where the clients who say like, I had a client the other day. (1:54) I had two clients. (1:54) I had a client today on a call where they're like, this is a test.(1:57) This is completely a pilot program. (1:59) We don't know what's going to happen. (2:00) It's probably going to get fucked up.(2:02) Don't worry about it. (2:02) Go break some eggs. (2:03) Fuck yeah, love that.(2:04) Another client, the client I went out to Texas to see, she was like, yeah, this is going to suck because it's the first time doing it. (2:11) It is what it is. (2:12) We'll figure it out.(2:13) Versus somebody who's like, we have to hit it perfectly. (2:16) And the reason we have to do it in this way at this time, at this hour, at this perfect thing is because that's the trend right now. (2:24) They do that inconsistently always until the next trend comes.(2:30) And then they do it very consistently for two weeks. (2:32) And then the fucking cycle over and over. (2:35) It's, it's consistent trend until we realize the trend is not actually consistent growth.(2:41) And then they can it. (2:42) And then they get excited. (2:43) It's just like a dopamine spike.(2:45) It's like, oh, that's the thing. (2:47) No, that wasn't the thing. (2:48) This is the thing.(2:50) None of those are the things. (2:52) None of them are. (2:53) I, I can tell you, we have a client who's in the process.(2:57) You and I together share a client who's going viral on YouTube right now. (3:00) Awesome. (3:01) Great.(3:01) I could tell you how to do it. (3:03) I know how to do it. (3:04) We just don't do it for NLU.(3:05) There's a series of reasons, but it doesn't matter if she stops tomorrow. (3:11) Doesn't matter. (3:12) Doesn't matter.(3:13) The best fucking strategy in the world. (3:15) The best advice in the world. (3:17) None of that matters if you don't do it for a long enough period of time.(3:19) And if you are concerned with trend hopping, you're probably not going to do it for a long enough period of time. (3:24) Fired up today. (3:25) Also real quick.(3:26) The reason we don't do it at NLU is because we are very like, we just want to do our thing. (3:31) I don't want to, we are like anti-trend to a detriment that, so I'm not saying that as like a flex. (3:37) I'm saying that more as like, we are just stubborn and I don't care if it takes 5,000 episodes to be more successful.(3:43) I really don't care. (3:44) I don't, I've already assumed it's going to, so I'm fine with that.

Alan Lazaros

(3:47) I want the fundamentals to work better though. (3:49) I do. (3:50) I want them to work better.(3:51) Same. (3:52) I care so deeply about the quality of the content and how important what we're talking about it is, which this is, I think really important. (4:00) Fundamentals versus supplemental.(4:03) Trends are supplemental. (4:06) Fundamentals are forever. (4:08) And I, I was thinking about a metaphor for this.(4:12) And I know I've mentioned the Odyssey several times, Christopher Nolan, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Oppenheimer. (4:24) There's so many others that are, that are tremendous and he doesn't make movies based on any trends. (4:34) So, so the good metaphor for this fundamental is great filmmaking, great writing, great acting, great storytelling.(4:44) The supplemental is Fast and Furious 9. (4:49) The problem is it fucking works. (4:52) Well, so Charles, what is it?(4:54) The Rock did something on Hobbes or whatever?

Kevin Palmieri

(4:56) Yeah.

Alan Lazaros

(4:57) I didn't see it because it's just like, this is, this has lost it for me. (5:03) I'm not in it. (5:04) But, and now here's the deal.(5:06) You're right. (5:06) Fast 7, 8, 9. (5:08) They did okay.(5:08) Sure. (5:09) But they're not going to beat the Odyssey.

Kevin Palmieri

(5:11) And the other thing too is like, okay, who directed them? (5:14) Who directed them? (5:15) Give me, give me the director of any of the Fast and Furious movies.(5:17) I have no fucking clue. (5:19) They could be my neighbor. (5:20) I wouldn't even know it.(5:21) I would have no idea. (5:22) I think you would know it because they'd have a bunch of cars. (5:26) But no, but that's my point.(5:27) That's a good, a good way to think about it. (5:30) Like, okay, well, who directed it?

Alan Lazaros

(5:32) No idea. (5:33) No idea. (5:34) Fundamentals win in the long run.(5:35) They do. (5:36) But in the short run, they don't at all. (5:39) Like, I'm fairly certain Christopher Nolan went away for two years after Oppenheimer and like, didn't talk to anybody and just wrote the Odyssey.(5:47) Interesting cat. (5:48) Did you see it? (5:48) Have you seen it?(5:49) Not yet. (5:50) So, so it, I looked it up. (5:54) I'm going to have to wait like nine months or something, which also is smart for them.(5:59) I mean, I will wait. (6:00) Like they want people to go to theaters. (6:02) IMAX, because it was shot in IMAX.(6:04) But yeah, I kind of want to go. (6:06) Yeah, I kind of do too. (6:07) Amelia and I have sort of a pact that we won't go to the theaters anymore.(6:12) And that's why we bought a home theater, dude.

Kevin Palmieri

(6:14) Yeah, but, but, yeah, but, but, okay. (6:15) I don't know. (6:16) You know more, you probably know more about this than I do, but I saw when you see it on a regular screen versus the other one, you only get three quarters of the picture.(6:23) Yeah. (6:23) The fuck are we doing here?

Alan Lazaros

(6:24) I want to see it in the way it was supposed to be seen. (6:27) For sure. (6:28) You know what I mean?(6:28) I, I am still currently in the sales process with Amelia on selling her to, we, we like to treat ourselves like old folk. (6:36) We, we, we're going to go at like 11am on, on a Sunday or something, or maybe on a Monday or something. (6:43) But anyways, neither here nor there, fundamentals versus supplemental.(6:49) Fundamentals always win eventually, but they're never sexy. (6:52) They're never fun. (6:54) They, I had a group coaching member, shout out to George.(6:58) He started listening to our show. (6:59) He said, I love what you guys do.

Kevin Palmieri

(7:00) You guys are funny.

Alan Lazaros

(7:01) You're engaging. (7:03) It's entertaining. (7:04) You guys are, you learn a lot.(7:06) It's like, wow, thank you. (7:07) I don't know if entertaining is what anyone would consider this, but sure. (7:13) At the end of the day, whether it's fitness, health, wealth, love, I want to play the long game and I want to focus on the fundamentals and I want to earn more, spend less and invest the difference.(7:24) I want to do the gratitude game. (7:26) And I want to like, listen, in your intimate relationship, same deal. (7:32) What are the fundamentals?(7:35) Love languages. (7:36) If you don't get that right, you are. (7:38) Fucked for sure.(7:40) If, okay. (7:41) Trust. (7:42) If you break trust, there's nothing else you can do.(7:44) Doesn't matter. (7:45) It doesn't matter how great you can, I used to joke. (7:50) Goddamn bachelorette.(7:52) And, and I had an ex who, who watched it and I was like, this is ridiculous. (7:59) No one's first date is a hot air balloon overlooking Italy. (8:04) And it's like, of course they're going to fall in love.(8:06) This is bullshit. (8:07) Just like the Love Island thing. (8:09) You know, I was interviewing for being cast for Love Island and I was like, of course you're going to get, fall in love on the island.(8:17) All you do is party and you're in bathing suits and you guys don't, there's, you, you're setting this up. (8:23) This is all facilitated. (8:24) And as soon as you leave, you're going to realize you don't even like this person, you know?(8:28) And they're like, Hey, uh, you seem pretty put together. (8:34) Is your, is your girlfriend, like, are you considering cheating on her or, you know, and all this stuff? (8:40) It's like, Oh wow.(8:41) So I'm not going to, no. (8:44) Are you always this calculated in your words? (8:47) Yes.(8:47) Are you always this intelligent? (8:50) Yes. (8:51) It's a surprise you made it as far into the, yeah, I made it to the third interview.

Kevin Palmieri

(8:55) I'm surprised you made it as far, like whoever did the first two interviews were dumb.

Alan Lazaros

(8:59) He literally said he was, he was a, a homosexual. (9:03) Sexual casting a director. (9:05) And, and he said, honestly, it's just hot people on an Island that, that, that get that party.(9:14) Yeah, it makes sense. (9:15) Right. (9:15) And, and he was like, you're, you know, and told me all that, like, you're super hot as fitness model, dude.(9:19) Of course. (9:20) Right. (9:20) That's the only reason I got cast.(9:22) It wasn't for my brain or my credentials. (9:23) Well, that's the matter of fact, I wouldn't have gotten it probably going to say if I had gone to the rest of it, because the one opportunity where that, that actually is held against you.

Kevin Palmieri

(9:31) It's like a little put a little too put, he's not going to make like that bad of decisions here. (9:36) You know what I mean? (9:36) We're not going to get anything.

Alan Lazaros

(9:37) Like he's not going to do like anything too crazy, but wouldn't that be cool to have like the nerdy loser not partake in the shenanigans.

Kevin Palmieri

(9:47) Evidently not. (9:48) Cause I don't think they've ever done it.

Alan Lazaros

(9:49) So, okay, fair. (9:50) But anyways, so my point of that whole thing is that show is not fundamentals. (9:56) Nothing you learn watching that show is going to be good for your marriage.(10:00) It's, it's an, honestly, I do think, I think most of entertainment is absolute fucking garbage. (10:06) I do.

Kevin Palmieri

(10:07) I agree. (10:08) I think the downside, the biggest downside of this is if you're really focused on. (10:13) Okay.(10:14) And again, I'm not saying, I won't say it like this. (10:16) I don't mean it this simply, but if you know more about trends than I do, I probably know more about the principles than you do because you're studying the trends and I'm studying the principles and that's what you get really good at. (10:29) But you don't get good.(10:30) You don't have to be consistent. (10:32) If you're hopping trends, because you do something exciting, new and exciting and novel to you every couple of months.

Alan Lazaros

(10:38) Yeah.

Kevin Palmieri

(10:38) Now you can take inspiration from one of the reasons I started doing the cooking videos I've been doing on Instagram is because I learned that psychologically, when you do something, when you do a video, people stick around to watch it longer. (10:54) Okay. (10:55) I'm not like doing anything crazy.(10:59) And you're not building your career on it. (11:01) Well, no, but that was based on me understanding that that might get me a little boost, but I, it doesn't matter if I don't do it. (11:08) I still have to do it every day.

Kevin Palmieri

(11:09) Yeah.

Kevin Palmieri

(11:09) Like that's the fucking problem. (11:10) It's like you have to do social media and then learn that. (11:12) That's the problem.(11:13) I remember when the whole like, it works fucking body wraps. (11:17) And if I have, uh, every time I would hear, Oh my goodness. (11:23) It this week, we're doing a reset.(11:27) What? (11:28) That's not real. (11:29) And think about that as a trend.(11:31) What the fuck have you been doing for the last six months? (11:33) What if you just like did a little bit every day for the last six months, you wouldn't be searching for a reset. (11:38) A hundred percent.(11:39) You would be making more progress. (11:41) And I'm telling you, I think that is one of the biggest issues is if you're out there, I mean this with love. (11:47) I mean, this was so much love.(11:48) If you're out there, number one, we don't want to sell you the shortcut. (11:51) So I can say this and it doesn't hurt me at all because I don't care. (11:55) If you're searching for the shortcut, all the time you're investing in searching in the shortcut, you are not putting into the fundamentals that will actually pay off over time.(12:03) Yeah. (12:04) And that is the whole, that is, that becomes more and more and more obvious to me every single day.

Alan Lazaros

(12:11) One of the things that I, I really want to make land because you said, I said four or five, six months ago, I don't know how long ago I said, I'm going to get a Cybertruck. (12:21) Picked it up today. (12:22) Great.(12:25) Dream car. (12:25) Cool. (12:26) It is unfreaking believable, honestly.(12:28) Unbelievable. (12:28) But that's not my point. (12:31) Me getting that has nothing to do with what I did this month.(12:36) Nothing to do with what I did this month. (12:39) It has everything to do with what I did for the last 11 years since my car accident. (12:43) Like it's an accumulated compound effect.(12:46) So you're seeing the moment, but you're not seeing that the income and revenue that was created to buy that had nothing to do with buying it. (12:59) And it's not a, it's not because it's a trend. (13:01) That's the other thing.(13:01) No, it's not. (13:02) Actually, the trend is far gone. (13:05) Well, for sure.(13:06) Um, but I just hope that that lands because all the things that are so shiny and so I've gotten a lot of love already about it. (13:16) And while I am grateful, I also don't care because I just, if you focus more on the skill sets and the work ethic and the habits and the KPIs and the focus and the causes, I try to explain this over and over and over again. (13:31) I think it's important.(13:32) So cause effect, effective effect, effective, effective effect. (13:36) It's called third order consequence. (13:37) I keep talking about this.(13:38) We talked about this in the last episode. (13:41) If you focus on the cause and the second order consequence, you'll end up with the six pack. (13:48) Let me explain.(13:49) I don't think anyone actually cares about me losing 10 pounds in 10 weeks. (13:55) This is my point. (13:56) So we have 30 people doing it from July 1st to September 8th, and I'm grateful people are in it, but let me explain to anyone listening why it actually matters.(14:06) It doesn't matter to lose 10 pounds. (14:08) That does not matter. (14:08) What really matters is the self-respect you get when you do it.(14:15) The promise you keep to yourself. (14:17) So the cause is eat less, exercise more. (14:21) The effect is 10 pounds in 10 weeks.(14:23) The effect of the effect is self-respect. (14:27) Nobody gives a shit about 10 pounds, and if they do, they shouldn't. (14:31) They should care about the causes and the effect of the effect.(14:34) And you don't want to know what the effect of the effect of the effect is? (14:36) Self-belief. (14:38) That's the thing.(14:40) So instead of trends of Instagram algorithms are doing this right now, focus on self-belief because that makes everything win. (14:49) Self-belief you can put into social media, you can put into speaking, podcasting, coaching, whatever you want to do. (14:55) Self-belief scales.(14:58) I was thinking about this yesterday too. (15:01) You and I have learned how to communicate effectively for the most part, but statistically speaking, we're in the top 1% of speakers, for sure. (15:08) For sure.(15:09) Why? (15:10) Constant failing forward. (15:12) That is such an important skill, dude.(15:14) Think about how much that allows you to do. (15:16) You're better at sales. (15:18) You're better in your intimate relationship.(15:19) You're better with people. (15:21) You're better in the social world. (15:22) You're better on social media.(15:24) You're better on podcasts. (15:25) You're better at coaching. (15:27) Effective communication is the sub-skill underneath most success.(15:32) Some people have built their entire career on effective communication. (15:36) And if you cared about that as much as some cyber truck, you would get whatever car you want eventually. (15:43) And I really hope that that lands because I'm grateful to achieve my dreams.(15:46) I am. (15:47) My goals and dreams, that's awesome. (15:48) I have nice clothes now.(15:51) I have a great life. (15:52) I'm very grateful. (15:53) But quite frankly, I care way more about the skills and way more about the fundamentals than any of that shiny fucking horse shit.(16:00) It is all set up very strangely.

Kevin Palmieri

(16:05) Biggie, I think the thing about trends is you feel like you're making progress very quickly.

Alan Lazaros

(16:10) And trying to go for the quick fix is the trap. (16:14) I know, but it's so exciting. (16:15) It's a goddamn trap.(16:16) It's so exciting. (16:18) I know. (16:19) It's so exciting.(16:20) The book I just told you about, we're going to do an episode on tomorrow. (16:22) The reason I know it's good. (16:24) Took him like 10 years to get this book done.(16:28) I want to stop golfing because it's trendy.

Kevin Palmieri

(16:31) It's like a little piece of me that's like too many people like it. (16:33) I passed the top golf today. (16:34) They're going out of business.(16:36) I'm not surprised. (16:37) Yeah, they're going out of business. (16:39) Okay, what would you say?(16:42) How do you... (16:43) What do we got left? (16:45) Technically like two minutes.(16:46) It's all right. (16:46) Wrap this up with a bow in two minutes here. (16:49) How does somebody go from...(16:52) How do we break the cycle on this? (16:55) Because number one, you might not even know you're doing it. (16:58) Number two, depending on who you surround yourself with, all of the people in your life are doing this.(17:04) What's the... (17:04) Like what is the outside of identifying it to start? (17:07) What is the process of breaking this and understanding that like...(17:11) If you're already... (17:12) If you're committed to post... (17:13) You're going to post every day on social media for the next 10 years, cool.(17:16) If you're willing to get a little bit better every single day for the next 10 years, cool. (17:19) Go find out about the algorithm. (17:20) That'll help you a ton.(17:22) If you're not going to do those first two things, algorithm is not going to help you.

Alan Lazaros

(17:25) Yeah, that's nice. (17:26) It's a good way to put it. (17:28) Creatine doesn't matter if you don't lift.(17:30) That. (17:30) I mean, it still does a little for your brain. (17:32) So I want to be accurate.(17:33) But your workout clothes don't matter.

Kevin Palmieri

(17:37) Your workout clothes don't matter.

Alan Lazaros

(17:38) Yeah, no, not at all. (17:40) Yeah, they don't. (17:40) And I actually alarmingly did not upgrade certain things until after the skills were developed.(17:49) Like in hindsight, that was a mistake that you and I... (17:53) That I made. (17:54) And you allowed it to happen.(17:56) I don't try to. (17:56) I didn't want it to happen. (17:57) I know, I know.(17:58) But if anything, I waited too long for some of the upgrades. (18:03) And some of the supplemental stuff that people need to see in order to see you, perceive you as successful. (18:08) But one thing that I want to say to answer that question, and I want to hear your answer too.(18:12) I also need to correct myself. (18:14) So according to the research I just did on ChatGPT, it took him three years to research and write Stolen Focus. (18:21) However, in the book, I'm fairly certain he starts it off with a story where he started to ideate 10 years prior.(18:28) Okay, so I just want to be as accurate as possible. (18:30) Anyways, it's a very well-researched book. (18:33) He interviewed 250 researchers, scientists, neuroscientists, psychologists, economists, educators, technologists.(18:39) We're going to talk about it tomorrow. (18:40) But to answer your question, Kev, about I think you have to decide in advance. (18:45) I remember when I made the choice.(18:48) I made a conscious choice. (18:49) No more horseshit. (18:51) Brother, I decided.(18:54) I was on a podcast last night and she said, You make everything sound so easy. (18:59) I was like, didn't I just talk to you about how awful this was? (19:01) How did I make that sound easy?(19:03) I don't get it. (19:04) Is it the I decided thing?

Kevin Palmieri

(19:06) I think so.

Alan Lazaros

(19:07) Brother, unpack that for me. (19:08) I just decided. (19:10) No more magic bullets.(19:11) No more quick fixes. (19:13) No more fucking trends. (19:15) No drugs.(19:16) No nothing. (19:18) No more. (19:19) Except for caffeine.(19:20) I just decided. (19:22) No more bullshit. (19:23) And even with dating.(19:24) Before I met Emilia, I was like, you know what? (19:26) I'm done. (19:26) If I have to be single and celibate for the rest of my goddamn life, I will do it.(19:32) I'm not going to date again until it's someone who has bigger goals and dreams than me, who actually understands me. (19:38) I decided. (19:40) Nothing ever happens until you decide first.(19:43) The see it to believe it shit sucks because you're never going to see it. (19:47) I decided to get a Cybertruck long before I got one. (19:51) Like no one just stumbles upon that.

Kevin Palmieri

(19:54) I think the difference is there's a very fine line between I decided and I want. (20:04) Yeah. (20:04) I decided means it's over.(20:07) Well, it cut away from it's done, but it's deeper than that. (20:10) It's like, okay, I decided I have a dream car as well. (20:13) So it's over there on my freaking, my cabinet thing over there.(20:17) I decided. (20:17) Cool. (20:18) What does that mean?(20:20) Well, that means that I have to learn about money. (20:22) That means that I have to grow the business. (20:24) That means that I'm going to say no to things and or understand that it's going to take me longer to get it.(20:28) Like that means a lot of things. (20:30) It means a ton, but there's at least a hundred things you can come up with that have to be different after I decide. (20:34) That's my thesis.(20:35) My thesis is if you want something, when you want something to you, it seems awesome and it seems pleasurable and it seems like it would be great. (20:44) Whatever, whatever want means to you. (20:45) When you decide, that's when you also allow yourself to understand the downside of what you want.(20:54) And then every day you decide, well, I don't know. (21:00) I mean, I don't really feel like it doesn't matter. (21:02) You decided, you went from want to decide.(21:04) You don't just want it anymore. (21:05) You decided that it's going to happen. (21:07) If it's going to happen every day, you have to decide.(21:10) And every day you make the right decision. (21:12) And every day you stay on the right side of that ledger. (21:13) Again, that is easier said than done for sure, but that would be my unpacking of it.

Alan Lazaros

(21:20) Last story before we go to the next episode. (21:25) I was sitting down with my mom one day and I don't think she would care if I shared this. (21:32) And she said, I found this new blank and I said, mom, I just want to stop you right there.(21:41) And I was very kind and respectful about this, but I've been hearing this for years and years and years. (21:46) And I said, unless the next sentence says consistent diet and exercise, I don't want to hear it. (21:54) And she said, what do you mean?(21:56) I said, mom, I'm so sick and tired of watching you fail and over and over and over again at losing weight. (22:03) And she's like, well, it's because I quit smoking. (22:06) It's because I had kids.(22:07) It's because I, I said, no, no, because I love you. (22:11) I'm going to say this. (22:12) It's because you have never consistently exercised.(22:15) That's it. (22:17) You've never ever consistently exercised. (22:21) That is why you do not lose weight.(22:23) And she was like, okay, she has exercised more since that day. (22:28) She has exercised way more since that day. (22:30) Actually, that is the power of truth.(22:35) Supplements are supplements. (22:37) That's why they call them supplemental. (22:39) Exercise is fundamental.(22:42) So until you exercise consistently, I don't care about your sleep supplement or your creatine or what do you do about dude? (22:52) I have people reach out and I'm grateful that I'm seen as a guy. (22:55) I appreciate it.(22:55) I'm coach. (22:56) It's like, Hey, what do you think about how many milligrams you pre or post for creatine until you're exercising consistently? (23:04) That is not the right question.(23:06) What you should be asking me is Alan, how the haven't you missed the day of exercise in 1600 and however many days it's 1615. (23:14) How have you not missed a day of exercise in 4.3 years? (23:18) That's the question you should ask.(23:21) That's it's not the creatine. (23:23) The creatine has helped a little bit. (23:26) You know what it is?(23:28) It's exercising every single day of my life for the last 4.3 years. (23:34) That's the secret. (23:35) That's the magic bullet.(23:36) That's the secret sauce. (23:40) Brother, we're going to do this forever. (23:42) We're going to say the same thing forever.(23:44) And I hope more and more people come to this side of it because the unrelenting tortoise versus the entitled and arrogant hair, the tortoise will win.

Kevin Palmieri

(23:51) Eventually, eventually, I saw this last thing. (23:55) I'll get out of here. (23:55) I saw a post today on Instagram and it was literally, it was literally this young kid who has a philosophy Instagram, I think.(24:05) And he said, please don't scroll. (24:07) Said, I don't have anything flashy. (24:09) I'm not going to say anything that's going to be super entertaining.(24:11) It's not going to be the most exciting thing you see every day, but I'm trying to grow my philosophy Instagram page and I don't want to fucking clickbait you. (24:17) Awesome. (24:18) Cool.(24:19) I'm in. (24:19) Gave him a like. (24:21) Awesome.(24:21) Love it. (24:21) Nice. (24:22) I think people are getting sick of the trends.

Alan Lazaros

(24:24) Agreed. (24:25) I hope so, man. (24:25) I think people are getting sick of the trends.(24:27) Same. (24:27) And that's what we're going to talk about in the next episode too.

Kevin Palmieri

(24:29) All right. (24:30) Alan's coaching is not a trend. (24:32) He's been doing it for a long time.(24:33) He's going to do it forever. (24:33) 11 years. (24:34) There's very few people that can say they've been doing something for a decade.(24:37) They're going to do it for another, I don't know, nine decades. (24:40) I will coach for the rest of my life. (24:41) You know, live to 120.(24:42) All right. (24:42) So there you go. (24:43) That's never going to stop.(24:44) And then fitness. (24:45) We've been talking a lot about fitness because of the power of fitness, the power of consistency, the power of self-belief, self-trust, self-worth. (24:52) It's the best.(24:53) And some days it sucks getting your workout in, but it sucks less when you're in a group of other people who want to admit how bad it sucks. (24:58) There's something, there's something to that. (25:00) So reach out to us, get in the Next Level Fitness Accountability Group.(25:03) As always, we love you, appreciate you. (25:05) Grateful for each and every one of you. (25:06) If you are as committed as you say you are to getting to the next level, make sure you tune in tomorrow because we will be here every single day to help you get there.(25:12) Keep leveling up to reach your full potential.
