Philippe is the co-founder of Tech Thursday, a grassroots event series for Canada's innovation community. He began his career at Neo Financial, where he led external relations and played a pivotal role in building a 50-person customer experience team to onboard half a million new customers in just four months. Recognizing a lack of networking opportunities for tech professionals in Calgary, he initiated Tech Thursday as a weekly event series to foster community and collaboration within the tech industry. In 2024, Tech Thursday expanded its mission to unite Canada's siloed tech ecosystems through consistent, community-driven programming. The events, which now take place in Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Edmonton, focus on four core themes: Technical Deep Dives, Local Trends, Business Growth & Strategy, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI).
