EP 122: WEDDING CONVULSIONS, OPEN WOUNDS, & THE CATS' MAJOR BOOTY ISSUES
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You know the drill - we're back this week with another episode of monthly reflections! And this month is especially fun because it's WEDDING MONTH, where I got hit with one of the most uncomfortable reflections yet (and I share why I wouldn't change a thing). Here's a sneak peek into the stories I tell here & nowhere else:
- the cats sh*tting their pants for 2 weeks
- 3 different injuries from playing tug of war lol
- nearly imploding at the airport
- shaking in the chair while getting my wedding hair & makeup done
... and we even have a couple of full-circle moments showing how reflections can jump around on us. Enjoy!

Hello everybody, welcome back to the alignment show. We are back this week with another episode of our monthly series of reflection roundups. And this month, you know, I got married, and I have some very hilarious reflections for you, per usual, but there was like a really big one that hit me during wedding week. And I promised you guys on my Instagram story that I would obviously fill you in in this podcast episode. And I don't tell these stories anywhere else. So yeah, you know, July was full of reflections. And I feel like I've said this before, somewhere at least, where every time that I record these episodes, I just wonder, I'm like, what am I gonna be talking about in the next one? Like, what's gonna happen in my life in the next month? And I don't know, sometimes it's kind of scary to think that way, but you know what? Life never lets us down to have reflection stories. So before I dive into the stories today, I want to just give a brief overview of reflections. If by chance you are new to our community, maybe this is the first episode you are listening to. Welcome. Um, but the point of these is to really help you guys learn through my reflections, which yes, we'll get to that in a second. Like what the hell is a reflection? But to help you learn so you don't have to make the same mistakes that I do. Okay, hopefully these story times every single month are helping you to avoid uh any future reflections that you don't want to experience. Okay, so reflections 101. If you have not listened to episode 106, that is where you will get the full deep dive. But just to give you an overview, technically everything is a reflection from our creator field, from our internal world. And also typically when we are talking about reflections here on the podcast, we are talking about negative reflections. Not that anything is fully negative or positive, but we're talking about situations, people, places, things that trigger us, okay? And it's going to be these reflections that show us where we're out of soul balance, where we're out of alignment. And it's just showing us where we get to upgrade things so that we can reach our next levels in life. Okay. And we can use intuition to fully decode these reflections, get to the bottom of it, get the tool to shift it. And then guess what? We're back on our soul path, we're reaching our goals faster. Thank you so much, reflections for the upgrades. Now, it's not pretty, it's not always pretty. Sometimes they're highly uncomfortable, and there's different levels of reflections. So, really, the goal is to catch them early, but that is a um, that is a process to mastery. And sometimes things just have to happen on a bigger scale, like a bigger level, more uncomfortable, more triggering, to get our attention for us to get the freaking point, get the lesson, get the upgrade, and continue expanding in this life. Okay. So here's the thing: don't program into your brain that reflections are bad and they're annoying and you messed up. And don't be judging yourself for having them. Okay, because if you didn't have reflections, you wouldn't be growing. And if you're not growing, you're dying. Like literally, your cells are decaying if you are not growing. Okay. And um, you know, if you accomplished everything that you came here to accomplish and you didn't have any more reflections, your soul would get really bored and just cross over. Okay. And I don't think we're trying to do that anytime soon. So that's one part of it. Also, just yeah, don't think that you like shouldn't have reflections, right? That's it's just part of life. And it's actually a really perfect, awesome system because if we didn't have reflections, we wouldn't be getting the upgrades that we need to create, the money, the man, the career, the success that we desire. Okay, great. So let's get into this month's list here of reflection stories. And I always pull up my notes here, so I've got it all fresh in front of me. Yes, I've got a whole folder in my notes of reflection decodes and translations. I always put the date, I've got a whole formula here. Um, but I uh I don't even know. I don't even know where I was going with that, but I have them pulled up here and um oh I know. I was decoding a few before this, because you know, it's a little busy this month. Whenever things would go wrong, I would just type them in this folder and be like, dude, I gotta figure this out later because, you know, wedding era, and I also just was physically unwell for a little while there. Anyways, I was decoding some of these before I started recording this because I was deciding which ones to include in this episode. Because trust, I always give you guys like four or five. Trust, there are way more than five reflections for me every single month. Okay, I just try to give you the most helpful ones. So, anyway, I was literally LOLing at some of these. Like, we will get into it, but I'm just sitting here like the genius of reflections. It's actually insane and also hilarious. So, with that, let's get into the first one here. So, this started. This one's like a um, this lasted like two weeks, okay? This one started toward the beginning of the month, and it started off. I am inside a three and a half hour Zoom class. I'm the student, I'm taking the class. Love this class. I'm locked in, right? Well, as you may or may not know, the cats' litter boxes are in my office, which is usually not a problem, but sometimes they're they're like doing construction in the litter boxes. I swear to you, if you listen to one of these podcast episodes, you can hear it in the background. Um, and usually it's fine. There really is just like no other place to put them in the house. And it's fine, but I do look forward to the day where I do not have litter boxes in my office. So anyway, I'm in that class this on this day, and Morty is doing his thing in the litter box. I'm like, okay. And he's just, I'm just getting annoyed. Okay. I'm just like getting like, can you please stop? Like, just you're done doing your business. You're just punching the side of the wall, like in the inside the litter box. You're not covering anything up. He's really never been good at that until very recently. Um, and I I was just annoyed because I'm trying to hear what's going on in this class, and it's a really important, like a locked-in part of this class where I don't want to miss anything. I'm taking rigorous notes, and I have figured out that to get him to stop doing something without me having to physically get up and go, like, you know, shoe him away or whatever, Morty hates a sustained note. Okay, so if you just like hold a note, I don't want to do it right now because he's sleeping in the hallway and I don't want to disturb him. But you get what I'm saying. Like, if you just make a noise that's the same pitch for like five seconds, he hates it and he runs away. So I'm here, I'm logged in on this Zoom class. I'm like trying to take notes on like the most important part of the entire three and a half hours. And so I do this little trick. He rockets out of the litter box. I see on the floor, he has flung shit on it. And when we're talking about flinging shit, you already know what that looks like. You know what substance would be required for that to be flung, okay? It was not a good situation. And I'm like, oh no, because he is a furry little man. We have had booty problems with him before, because it gets on his fur, and then he's running around the house, he's sitting on things, he's dragging his butt everywhere, and I'm like, dude, this is not good, this is not good, it's really poor timing, also, and then I'm just mad at myself because I like made him, I made him do that because I thought I was doing a little trick to get him to shut up. And I just, you know, I was the um springboard for all that to happen. So at this point, I'm trying not to step in it. I'm chasing him down, and let me tell you, he is a ragdoll, but he is not tolerant the way that Archibald is, and Archibald is half Persian, half ragdoll. Archie is also just extremely high frequency, high conscious. Not that Morty's not, like animals are so special and so high frequency, but Morty and Archie are just on very different levels. Okay, Archie, he's pretty tolerant. You know, he he would not bite, he would not scratch, he would not yell, he just kinda lets me do whatever to him. That's my soul cat. Morty, on the other hand, dude, if we try to trim like a mat off him, no, if he's over it, he's over it. He will bite you, he will yell, he will run away, he will flail. He's like an infant, just freaking out. Like, it's just you gotta catch him at the right time. Well, like most animals, he doesn't like his butt being messed with. And I'm like, dude, it is too bad. So cleaning his butt is really a two-person borderline three-person job. So just between Mac and I, it's difficult to clean him. Well, I'm home alone and I can't just let him go all day, okay? So I'm trying to control him. By the way, he's um how much does he weigh? He's 18 pounds. He has to go on a little diet, okay? We found that out this month. Um, they only want him to lose like one to two pounds, but he's a little squishy. So he's also strong, okay? He's heavy, he's strong, he's got this shit all over him. I'm trying not to get it on me. I'm trying not to get it on everything else, on my clothes. Like, I'm trying to wipe off his butt. He's not having it. It's just like a whole fiasco, okay? And then after like that situation, then I have to sanitize everything. So I'm missing, I'm handling all this. I'm missing the whole part of the class that I really, really did not want to miss, and it's okay because there's recordings, but I was just so frustrated in that moment. So, anyways, this began like a two-week stint of him having diarrhea. Okay, we're gonna start with Morty because it started with Morty. So, Morty usually reflects Mac, and yes, our pets take on our reflections. Our pets are like a buffer system, they love us so much that they will take on physical symptoms to kind of like protect us from them, but also show us the story, like play out the story of what's going on with our own imbalances. It's actually incredibly sweet. Um, so, anyways, Archie typically reflects me, Morty typically reflects Mac. So at this point, I'm looking in, I'm like, dude, you gotta both of y'all gotta get together right now, like Morty and Mac. So this was stemming from, and like diarrhea can be a lot of different things, but this is why we use intuition to look in and get the right answers. Um, but Morty's diarrhea was stemming from Mac feeling nervous, specifically in his career area of life. Um, which there is like like a lot of work stuff is happening, was happening for him in July. So it made sense. We don't need to get into the specifics of it, but that is what was going on. And so I'm communicating this to Mac. I'm like, at this point, no physical support was needed for Morty. He did not need to go to the vet, he did not need medication. This could have been 100% shifted energetically. Spoiler alert, it was not. Okay, so that's the Morty situation. That's where it started, okay? July 2nd is when I have this written down. Well, a couple days later, Archie starts having the same problems. And when your pet is sick, you are obviously like worried, right? But then you layer on top of that the fact that there's two of them. Then you layer on top of that the fact that they're getting dirty. Then you layer on top of that the fact that they're gonna get your house dirty, then you layer that you have to sanitize. Like it's unsanitized, like it's not good, dude. It's not a good situation. And it just, everybody, every being in our house was just so wound up about this situation. And I'm over here with intuition, like, we gotta solve this, we gotta fix this, like the wedding's coming up, we can't be dealing with this, whatever. And uh, so, anyways, the next note that I have for this is July 13th, because we were like, okay, let's give it like 24, 48 hours, um, see what happens. And the cats were acting totally fine, which was a great sign, by the way. Great, great sign. They're still eating, they're still drinking, they're still playing, running around, chasing each other, but they just were not having a good time with their GI tracks. And so I'm like, okay, this is great. Um, but we got to the point where where we were like, okay, it's clearly not getting better. Like maybe we could have been doing more emotional work, probably, but it did get to a point where the cats needed physical support. And there will be times where, you know, I'll intuit whether it's the pets or a human, right? Like a client or myself or whatever. Sometimes we do need physical support. Like it can't be 100% shifted with energy work because it's gone so far. It's gotten to a degree where something's off physically that can't be shifted just with energy work. Um, so, anyways, we took Morty to the vet. We we also, okay, this led us to a new vet that is so much better. So, so, so, so, so much better than the one we were going to. I cannot even begin to describe to you. There's nothing wrong with the vets we were going to. Like, love the staff there and everything. Don't love the clientele there. Also, don't love the logistics there. You cannot get an appointment because they book out and they only open their calendar a month in advance. Uh, it's an animal hospital. It's also an emergency animal hospital. So if you want to go there, your best bet is to be a walk-in and you have to show up at like 7, 7:30 a.m. and sit out there until they can see you, which takes forever. They stop taking walk-ins typically halfway through the day because then they're full for the day. Like it is nice because it's really close to our house and it is an uh like a hospital and it's an emergency vet. So I have had a situation one time where I took Archie there because we had an emergency. And if you do have an emergency, they see you right away. You cut the line, like obviously. And of course, I get that. I'm like, if I'm bringing my pet here and I don't have an emergency, I understand the process, but it just sucks, dude. Like it's hot outside, the cats get stressed, there's other animals. Again, I'm just gonna be straight up. I don't love the people, the clientele there. Like, just there are very nice people there that are clients, the staff is great, but I've also had some interactions with very unsavory people there, which, yes, reflections, but I'm just I'm over it. Okay, so we established at a new vet who is incredible. Like, there's multiple vets there, but everybody that we've seen has been so sweet, so nice. There's no overhead lighting in this place, it's all soft ambient lighting. It's also just it's in a different neighborhood that is better in a lot of ways, and it's been fabulous. Like, love them. Okay. So we took Morty to the vet. We get like we establish there, so he has to have like the whole exam and whatever. And I'm like, okay, right now we're just gonna do some GI support. We're gonna give him some psyllium husk for fiber and also like a probiotic, but then we never ended up getting the probiotic because they didn't have it, blah, blah, blah, blah. I I don't remember. Whatever. The story is going on forever. Long story short, we need to take them both back a week later because they're both still shitting their pants and it's not getting better, and it's just messy, and we're trying to trim their butts, and like it's just a whole thing, and the wedding's like coming in hot. So, anyways, um, as far as the reflection piece of this goes, so Morty was reflecting Mac, it was the nerves around career, then Archie starts reflecting me. For for us, for me and Arch, the emotional root cause was me not feeling properly nourished, like, can't hold on to nutrients, right? You're just letting it all go, specifically in career and finances, which is absolutely hilarious. Like, can I just be so for real with you? I just posted this on my story in real time. It's July 31st today. So, end of the month, I just did my financial reports. I was like subconsciously worried about money all month, even though everything is completely fine on paper, like better than it's been in years. Like, it is wild how things can be fine on paper, but if you don't feel it, then that creates the imbalances, that creates the reflections, and then the next thing you know, your cats are shitting their pants everywhere. Okay. So, anyways, all that is to say, we ended up getting them physical support. We I had to give them antibiotics for seven days, and that was truly horrific because it made them salivate. So I just had to trap them in the bathroom with me for them to just drool everywhere for five minutes after I would give them the antibiotics, but we also got the probiotic, and then we kept uh adding in psyllium husk for fiber. So they got through that. We all got through that, and what a time. Okay, so there's a fun one for you if your pets ever get diarrhea. It might be because of one of those reasons. It could also be something else, again, like reflections, they are literal, and also you want to have intuition to make sure you're getting the exact root cause, or else you're gonna get frustrated because they're gonna keep shitting their pants and you're not gonna know what to do. So there's that. So it's like a two-week situation, but on to our next one here. So on July 11th, we did these like beach games Olympics situation for It Factor, one of the gyms that I go to. And they're like our community is so great. If you live in San Diego and you don't train at It Factor, I'm genuinely confused because it's incredible there. Okay, so side note free plug because I just freaking love them so much. But they hosted a big beach games, like teams, multiple games, insane prizes. Like the first place people got like a yacht charter for free. They got um, I think like a duffel bag or something from LSKD. It was a bunch of cool stuff. But, anyways, look, I'm competitive. Okay, I'm not playing around. I don't love like a contact sport. I don't I am a sore loser too, so I just have a lot of emotions around like a um a games situation. But I went in there and I was like, I'm not playing. So get this. The teams were supposed to be four girls and four guys, just so like it would be fair amongst everyone. Look, I don't know how this happened, but our team turned into seven guys and me. And I was like, that, dude, we're gonna win everything. So, well, the the big thing was tug of war. And I'm not gonna lie, we crushed it. We won like three or four in a row, and then when it got to us and the other team, like the championship for the tug of war portion, things went, things went downhill. And I, you know what's funny, I gotta tell you. So I'm in the front, and I'm like, I'm feeling good. I'm like boosting my confidence every time we win, knowing full well there's seven dudes behind me also pulling the rope. But like, I don't know, I felt good about it. I was like, I'm contributing, I'm strong. And um, so we get to the final round, and it's like a oh, what's it, like a what's the word? Not stalemate, but like no one's moving, like the teams are equally pulling it, and we're everyone's trying so hard, but it's not moving, like very evenly matched. I gas out so quick. I'm like tensing my whole body and I start fatiguing, and I'm like, oh no. And it and then I just got pissed, and I was like, okay, screw this. And so I just like kind of fell down. I made no difference. The seven dudes on my team just kept pulling the rope and nothing changed. I was like, oh, well, now I'm even more pissed because I feel like I wasn't doing anything. So I get back up and I'm like, no, let me back in here. We're not losing. I'm pulling it, I'm pulling it, I'm pulling it. Finally, everyone fatigues, we lose, whatever. Um, but during this time, I don't realize it because I'm so in it, but my feet are getting just torn to shreds, dude. And let me tell you why. So, for all of the rounds that we won, we were on the side of the rope where there was more sand. So, in my opinion, you can dig your feet in, right, have more leverage. On the championship round, we were on the other side where the sand was there wasn't as much, and so you could feel like the concrete beneath the sand. Okay, that well, that's gonna. Lead to what happened next. The bottom of my left big toe just ripped open. Just like not like deep, but you know, if you ever get like a blister on your toe, just ripped open, sit full of sand. Sand is like packed, like folded into my like open wound. And I was like, ooh, gonna have to clean that out later. And don't worry, I did. It's all good now. But it was like really something to clean that out because the last thing you want is for it to heal with sand inside you. You know what I mean? So, anyways, left big toe gets absolutely annihilated on the bottom. Okay. So this is where I start laughing at these reflections. The emotional root cause of this that made me a match for my toe to get ripped open was feeling like, because remember, none of this is true. It's just my emotional imbalances. Feeling like it's painful for me to maintain balance in work and life. Especially when, oh, I'm having fun. Because this happened while I was having fun, right? I was doing something social and playing these games, and I was having a great time. I'm very competitive, but I was having a great time. Well, this came from specifically my career area of life, because obviously it's like, okay, well, I feel like I can't really maintain this balance. Like if I try to maintain this balance, it's it's gotta hurt, it's gotta be painful. And it's like, no, the actual that's so limiting, right? That's a limiting belief. The truth is you can balance everything and have it be easy and fun and not get hurt. But you know what? Reflections will do this to you, okay? They'll make you a match to get hurt. So that's my first injury from the beach games day. By the way, my body was so sore for like multiple days. We were all like messed up because Tug of War turns out full body situation. Like I was using dumb muscles I should not have been using, but the soreness really revealed that to me, okay? So, what also happened during Tug of War was my, it's like where the rope was um like pressing against my body. So it's like my right wrist um slash forearm. And that got like hella bruised. It turned gnarly. It was like yellow, dude. And I was like, oh, I hope this doesn't carry on to next weekend into the wedding, um, which it was fine. But the reason that I was a match to get bruised right there came from me like beating myself up and specifically, like more specifically, feeling like the tools that I am using for my creator field to change my reality, don't have the strength required to get what I want, specifically in career. Okay, so that's how that one played out. Even though, like I said, this whole year has been better than it things have been in years, like so good on paper, and like consciously so good. But if you've got a subconscious thought that's running the show, because it will always run the show, because our subconscious creates 95% of our reality, it will make you a match for something like this. Okay, so that's the second injury, and then the third one here. The top of my right foot just scraped to hell, dude. Like not really an open wound the way my toe was on my other foot, but just really, really scraped. And this is where I laughed the hardest because uh again, this happened, all of this happened during Tug of War. Everything else was fine. But um, this third injury here, you're gonna laugh. I hope you laugh with me. So it's the top of my right foot that got scraped, and this happened because like my feet were getting stepped on, obviously, while we were doing Tug of War. Important fact. Okay. So the emotional root cause of this one that made me a match for this was feeling like it is painful to move forward in life and feeling like I have to get stepped on by other people to move forward in life. Just feeling like it has to be a battle. You know, I've got to get beat up, I've gotta get hurt, people have gotta step on me for me to just get what I want. Isn't that crazy? Like, oh my gosh. Crazy. I would I was just sitting here like in shock with my higher self. I was like, dude, that's insane. I'm literally saying that out loud as I'm like translating the reflection. So yeah, those are my beach games injuries. And if you would like to avoid those, then make sure that you don't have any of those imbalanced thoughts that I mentioned that caused these. Okay, great. Let's move into the next two. These are the big wedding era reflections that I quite literally I figured out one of them in real time, the one I'm about to tell you. The second one I figured out fully before this, which is great because I needed my emotions to come down. Our wedding was two weeks ago today. Ugh, I'm big sad that it's over. I wish so bad it was two weeks ago today. Um, but I also felt like shit. So, anyways, my emotions are down now. I'm more regulated, so I could actually get to the truth of it. Um, again, I'm gonna tell you about that one after this one. So, okay, it was a few days before the wedding, it was like the Tuesday before the wedding. I my parents were flying in, so I go to charge the car, because it's close to the airport, before I pick them up. And that afternoon I started feeling weird, okay? My tummy feeling a little weird, and I was like, no, we're not doing this, we're not doing this, we're not doing this. And it was a roller coaster. Like, I went and got my nails done, I was like, You're okay, you're okay, you're okay. Because I had this thing where I just I was experiencing a really big fear. You guys have probably heard me talk about this before. Experiencing a really big fear of like, I'm not okay unless I'm at home and I'm alone. And like that sounds wild, but I'm not kidding, you guys. Like, it was the bane of my existence. I was like, how am I supposed to live my life? Go anywhere, do anything, see anyone, like this is really messed up, but I just felt like I didn't know what to do about it. And so I've manifested this multiple times in the last, oh my gosh, the last like year, honestly. And it's really sad. And so, anyways, the good news is we've done some really cool um shifting around that. So I feel a lot better about it now. But, you know, a couple weeks ago, I had not yet done that healing and shifting. So I'm just not feeling good. And I'm it's a slippery slope. Like my thoughts are running away from me. I'm convinced, like, I'm not okay, I'm not okay, I'm not okay. I'm sitting in the car charging it, I'm blasting the AC on myself. I'm trying to decode this reflection in real time. And I did. Um, so what was causing all of this, just like really feeling like shit, tummy hurting, tummy, I have that in my notes. My stomach was hurting, um, borderline nausea, then like I maybe I need to go to the bathroom. Like, I'm just I'm not okay. GI tract, not okay, body, not okay. So this was stemming from specifically mental and financial areas of life, which if you keep hearing me talk about these areas of life and you're like, what's what's that? What's going on? There are eight areas of life that you can check for. Okay, so this was coming from mental and financial, so my thoughts around money. Feeling like it's hard to digest if I were to like lose my whole business and make no money. And a lot of you know, I had like a very difficult time financially and in my career area in 2025. And so there's just like I would say some, but it's like a lot of PTSD that I've been working on healing and shifting through so many different ways, and like it's working, which is great. But you know, that stuff runs deep, dude. Like when you are in survival mode, your brain clocks that. And so there is that fear of like, I can't go back to that. I can't go back to that. Like, I wouldn't even be able to handle it, wouldn't be able to digest that information, right? So that shows up in my body because I'm paying attention to my body, and I really, really, really have that fear of not feeling good. It's a it's a lack of control thing, too, right? You can kind of see how all this folds together. So, anyways, I have in my notes here like freaking 25 bullet points after that, like shifting this. But that's what was happening, and it was just so, oh, it was so not a good time. Like, I'm feeling bad at the car charging place. Then I feel like okay, I shift it. I'm clearing myself of dark forces repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly. Um, really doing my best to shift it, and then like, okay, I'm good, I'm good. But it's one of those like grasping at straws moments where you're like, I think I got it, but I'm scared it's gonna come back, and then that's you're already cooked at that point. Like, that's just the slippery slope of like when you're not fully in control and you haven't fully shifted something yet, it's just it's slippery, is the best way I can describe it. So I'm driving from the car chargers to the airport, and I'm like, I'm good, I'm good, I'm good. I'm really focusing on like the new thoughts that I'm trying to have and just the shifts that I've done. I'm good. I still don't feel awesome, but I don't feel so scared anymore. I feel a little bit more in control. So I get to the airport and then I park the car. This takes forever, by the way. Park the car, walk into the terminal, waiting for my parents, and like they're nowhere to be found. So I go to the bathroom, and I'm like, I just go Peter or whatever, and I'm like, I'm not gonna do, I'm not gonna let anything crazy happen here. Like, I just need to go home and I will handle myself there. So finally my parents come down and then it just hits me again where I'm like, I'm really not okay. Like, I'm really not okay, and like scared of what's my body gonna do, essentially. And I'm in public, I'm not at home. I'm you guys, I just I hate even thinking about it. Um, because it just sucks, you know? So, anyways, that's how I was feeling. I get my mom an Uber, I bring my dad home because he's staying, he stayed with us, and they're both just like so sweet to me. They're like, Are you okay? And I'm like, No, like I'm really not, but I don't want to talk about it. And so, you know, they're super supportive. I get home, I'm good. I eat some pretzels, Mac. My dad and I sit here, we chat for like an hour, then we go down and we get dinner just real quick, come home. I'm like, okay, I'm good. I'm like, that's crazy. That was crazy, and that absolutely cannot happen again because it is wedding week, and what the actual hell. So, yeah, that was that night. And it took my body a little bit to recover for sure. So the next day, chill day. Um, how do you remember? Oh, I got my lashes done that morning. I took my dad to get to go rent a suit, and uh yeah, we just kind of like bebopped around all day. Great day, beautiful San Diego day. I feel good that day. Like I'm still a little like dysregulated, but my GI track totally fine. Like I'm hungry again, I'm good. So that was Wednesday. Then the next day is Thursday, so we have rehearsal, and then that night we have our wedding welcome party. Well, I did a 6 a.m. Hyrox with Mac that day. Probably not my smartest idea, but again, I was a match to do this. And so then we go to the rehearsal, and I feel really good because like I'm getting all the decor there. The wedding team is awesome. Family and friends are showing up for the rehearsal. I'm I just feel so good like being with my people. And I'm like, dude, I'm good. I'm so good. We come back, we pick up my dad's suit. Um, and then that afternoon is super chill. I'm like packing everything because I was staying in a hotel that night. Mac was staying here, so we didn't stay together the night before the wedding. And then my hair girl came over at four. She's doing my hair for the welcome party, and like, I'm okay, like I'm good. We get to the welcome party, I'm doing decent, and then I just don't feel good again. And it wasn't fully like the GI situation, but it was more of like my nervous system, dude. Like I just I was cooked from being on, right? Like talking to so many people, being around so many people, did that 6 a.m. high rocks. Like, I'm obviously super excited about the wedding and having all our people here. Like, it's just a lot. And also, that doesn't mean that like you're guaranteed to feel like shit. Like, it means you have I had reflections to make me feel so shitty, right? And I'm glad that these came up because they cleared some things that would have prevented me from being 100% present and 100% happy during the wedding day. So I knew I was like, this sucks so bad, like especially that nausea one when I was picking my parents up from the airport. But I knew I was like, I asked for this because I have been asking to, I had had been asking to clear anything that would prevent me from being 100% present and 100% happy on my wedding day. So I was like, you know what? This is all in the name of upgrades, like it's good. But by the end of that night, the end of the welcome party, my head, I had like a splitting headache. I was just wired but tired. Um, and I still had to drive up to the hotel, which was not far. It's like where we got married is like half an hour from where we live. Um, so, anyways, it was just, it was just a lot. And that obviously leads us into wedding day. And the best way that I can describe this is really just my nervous system was royally effed. Okay, like I got up, I woke up on my own at like 5 46 a.m. on a wedding day, and I was like, oh, it's coronation day, and like, oh, I was just so excited. So I forgot my toothbrush that night. So I walked over to a CVS that was supposed to be open at 6. They were not. So then I go back to the hotel, which is like a few blocks away. I'm just walking around in the morning, and it was very peaceful, very nice, because we're close to the water. And um, I needed to like move my car to the parking garage, and then I needed to get myself breakfast. Whatever. I get myself breakfast, I eat breakfast, I'm good, like things are great. Uh, makeup girls shows up, my girlies start showing up, like we're getting ready for the day. And then I'm like, oh, I gotta go to the bathroom. Like, stomach hurting. Okay. Then I'm feeling like the wired situation in my brain. You know, like I'm a battery with like I'm I'm overcharged, if that's even possible. That's the best way I can describe it. Where you're just like, on, like you're just wired because everyone's there, you're excited, you're talking to a lot of people, you want to hear everything, you want to talk to everyone. Like, and we're all in this hotel room, which is fine. I there was no point that I like wanted everyone to leave so I could be alone. Like, if I needed to be alone, I would have just gone outside, but I didn't want to be alone. I wanted to be with all of my girlies. So, anyways, it gets so bad over like the getting ready morning that when my hair girl was doing my hair, I was like shaking in the chair, like shivering, but I was cold, but it was mostly because of my nervous system. And I've had this happen a few times in my life where when I get really, I mean, you just get overstimulated, right? Your body is quite literally trying to get the energy out. And so that's why you'll start like trembling, like shaking. And I always feel it in my legs, and then it was just like full body. I'm like con not convulsing, but I'm like just shaking in the chair. And my hair girl is like, she's so sweet, like, oh, they took the best care of me. They're like, Are you okay? And I was like, I'm okay. I was like, it's just my nervous system. And they're like, okay, put this robe on so you're like warm at least. Like they just they took the best care of me. Everybody did. Um, but I just could not stop. And obviously, when your nervous system is that overstimulated that you're quivering, your GI tract is not gonna hold on to anything. Okay. So it wasn't horrible. Like, I didn't, I never felt like, oh my god, I'm so out of control. I'm gonna like have a, you know, the movie Bridesmaids. You know what I'm talking about. I was not worried about that happening. I was like, I'm in control of my body right now to a degree. Like, I'm in control of my GI tract, not of my shaking muscles right now. But I wasn't, um, I just didn't feel good. I was like, okay, nothing crazy is gonna happen, but I would really like for this to stop. And it's just really, really difficult when your emotions are heightened and you're energetically charged and there's just so much stuff going on. Like, uh, it was a roller coaster all day. And I didn't really have a moment on I don't not that I can remember. There were a couple moments, maybe when we were doing like pre-ceremony pictures where I was like, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, I'm not okay, I'm not okay, I'm not okay. But then I was like, girl, yes, you are. And from the outside, by the way, everybody always tells me, they're like, oh, you look so chill. Like you just held it together, like you were so poised, like I don't know how you were so chill. And I'm like, I'm, you know, I'm glad it looked that way because I've been this way my whole life. I I never want people to know if I'm like crashing out, like imploding on the inside, because I just like don't want to put that on other people, you know? Um, so that was, you know, that's a win. But anyway, for most of the day, like before the ceremony, once I was at the ceremony and once I saw Mac, I was good. I was so good. But leading up to it, even the golf cart ride down, like, oh, we'll talk about it. But anyways, today finally I could look in and figure out, like, okay, what was the actual deal here? Because of course I could just, I could sit here and say, Well, Melissa, you were really excited and you were around a lot of people. You were around a lot of energy that you're not used to being around. Like, I'm alone most of the time, right? Um, but that's not a hundred percent of the reason why. Could it be a contributing factor? For sure, for sure. But there's something that made me an energetic match to experience this level of dysregulation. And everything starts in the energetic. So everything starts as an emotional root cause. I could have, like I know full well I didn't not have to feel that shitty. After talking to my wifey friends, they're like, oh yeah, it's so normal. And by the way, the wifey friends I'm talking about, they are trained intuitives as well. But just hearing from them helped of like, yeah, it's so normal. And also all of us know it's still reflective. And I think I kind of just put the cherry on top of this reflection, was beating myself up about it about like, why can you not just chill and relax and enjoy your day? Guess what? That's a reflection too. Why can I not just chill, relax, and enjoy my life? Right? Why can I not just chill, relax, and enjoy my career, my finances, etc.? So that's a total aside. But getting into what the heck was happening, like during wedding day, wedding era. So there were two things here. One was feeling like I cannot hold on to nourishment, which we've already talked about, but specifically in the financial area of life, and I'm gonna dive more into that in a second, because two here folds right into it. Feeling dysregulated financially. Now, let me tell you, this is where I was again LOLing with my higher self, decoding this. All of this was subconscious. Okay, I thought, and this is how it goes, I thought I was good. Like, yeah, we're spending money on this wedding, but like I've got a plan. My business is doing great, it's only gonna get better. I have all the tools I need, but subconsciously, I was still having these thoughts. Okay. Thoughts of like, okay, I'm spending, like, we're both spending a lot for the wedding. I'm worried that I can't make money because it's all being spent right now. I'm worried that I can't save money because it's all being spent right now, and it's not, it's definitely not all of it. I have saved more money in the last four months than I have saved in like the last few years, to be so real with you. Um, and it's not because I'm suddenly making more money than I used to, it's because now I understand the energetics of money and I have a plan for every dollar and I know how to allocate it the way that Source wants it, and it's it's been doing wonders. So that's a side note. Maybe that comes out in a program someday, but what I'm saying is I had this thought of like all my money's disappearing when in fact my money is only growing. Yes, I'm spending money on the wedding, but subconsciously, emotionally, I felt like just crashing out. I just feel like it's all going away, okay? So I just had all this worry, worry, worry in my subconscious. Well, guess what? Then it gets it like crawls its way into the creator field, and it's gonna show up in my life. And you know, there's nothing, absolutely nothing, I would change about wedding day or wedding era, wedding week, none of it. Like I could cry just talking about it. I've been crying like almost every single day, just happy tears about you guys. It was heaven on earth. That like there's no words to describe it. There really aren't. But if I had to, I would say that it was heaven on earth because it really was. Okay. Emotions are great. I just don't really feel like crying on the podcast today. So, anyways, those really, really Showed up in my body because I'm paying attention to my body, right? And there were some triggers for these, specifically all the final payments before the wedding. If you're a bride or a groom, you know, you just like pay so much all at once, right? Before the wedding. And then also you pull out um cash tips for all your different vendors. And so those just really sent me. And you know what? I'm I did not feel great. I'll be so honest with you. Of course, I wished that I would have felt better. I know I didn't have to feel that shitty. But again, I have gotten to the point where I can see the perfection in it. And I'm just so, so, so, so, so glad that it was a reflection, honestly, that I could just keep within myself and like handle it and not have it affect anybody else and not have the reflection show up in like, I don't know, bad weather happening, which the reason I picked July in San Diego is because the chances of bad weather are like so low. Um, but I'm just glad that like nothing else got messed up or anything, right? Like everything was just so perfect. I cannot even describe, okay? So yeah, that was really the big one this month was the wedding week, body dysregulation, you know, all just coming from finances, really. So yeah, we are happy to be done with that one. So, like I said, that's the big one. I do have one more I want to share with you guys here because this is actually popping up for me right now. It looks better right now than it did this morning. Definitely better than it did last night. But I was sitting on the couch and I was like, you know what? This one's never happened to me before. I'm not someone who like ever has like skin, like dry skin issues. Definitely not like on my body or like my hands or anything. Um but last night I'm sitting on the couch and I look down at like the pads on my fingers and they're like peeling only on my left hand. My right hand is completely normal. And I was like, oh, well, this is a really good opportunity to like learn another reflection because obviously I have something going on. And secondly, I've never looked into one like this. So um basically I have had, had, I still have dry skin on the pads of most of my fingers on my left hand. So pinky ring and middle finger, those are like the worst. Um, my ring finger was the worst, and then a little bit lower down on my index finger. And then today, thumb is fine, but it's also kind of at like the top of my palm where my fingers connect. So last night I looked into it, and uh, here are the specifics. So every single finger like has a different meaning. It's like if you break a nail on a certain finger, on a certain hand, like they all have different meanings. So that's why I'm giving you just like so much context here. But spoiler alert, all of these reflections are stemming from mental and career. So my thoughts around my career. Um, with the index finger, it's me. So specifically, I'm feeling irritated with how much I'm focusing on the details of how I'm scaling my business, even more specifically, feeling like, oh, I don't know if these are working. I don't know if the details are working. Okay, so that led to the index finger, dry skin. The middle finger came from me feeling irritated with like, and again, this overlaps with what I said earlier, feeling like there's a lack of strength behind what I'm doing. Like the details of how I'm scaling my business are not strong enough. I don't know if they're strong enough to get my desired result. Okay, so that's an example of a reflection jumping around if I don't shift it. Because we had that one earlier. Um, gosh, I don't even remember what it was now. But uh whatever it was, that other reflection where I was having a strength problem. Um, cool. The ring finger was me feeling irritated with my commitment or lack thereof to the details of how I want to be in receivership and scale this business. Because I I keep thinking that it needs to look a certain way, and like that's not what my soul wants, but my human keeps trying to override it. So I've got this internal battle going on, and now it's showing up on my fingers. Okay, and then the pinky, here's another one that overlaps with um, gosh, whatever it was earlier. I can't, this is the thing with intuition. I have to look back at my notes because if you don't write things down, you lose it because you're just channeling. Um, but this one overlaps. You'll know what I'm talking about. The pinky is irritation with a lack of work life balance. So, you know, if you're wondering where my mental state is in July 2026 between the wedding and career and finances, now you know. Now you know. And that's what's fun is like as you learn uh reflections, but especially intuition, you can look at people and figure out like what is going on with them. Like if somebody tells me, like, oh yeah, I've just like had this knee problem for like five years, I'm like, ooh, I know what's going on there. It's kind of like spilling their own tea without even realizing it because most people are not conscious of like the system of reflections and the creator field and all of this stuff, but it's just the best. It's all in the name of upgrades. So those are my stories for you from this month. Truly, even though I felt freaking awful for portions of it, it was the best ever, ever, ever. I I just want to have like some closing notes about the wedding too, because like where else am I gonna talk about it to you, you know? I've made a few posts and such, but you know, the pod is for yapping, and gosh, there's so much that I could say. Um man. I it's like you go to other people's weddings and it's beautiful, right? And it's like really cool, and of course you're excited for your people, and also you will never understand how much the day means until you go through it yourself and how much it means that your people show up for you. Like, it is really just it's the most important day of your life, right? And so the people that show up, like when they are when when wedding guests are there, you are just so grateful. And it's really cool to have all your people in one place because it's the only time it's gonna happen. Like, let's be so for real, right? Family from across the country, friends from all over, like everybody in one spot. It's never gonna happen again, you know? And so it's it made me realize that when I get invited to a wedding, how much I mean to the bride and or groom. Like it really is such a special situation, and I just don't think you realize that until you go through it yourself. And when it's your own wedding day, like a lot of what they say is true. Like, does the day fly by? Yeah, but I think I not even I think I know because I fucking did it. There is a way to be 100% present and not have it fly by. Of course, in hindsight, I could say, like, oh yeah, it just flew by, but like I am really proud of myself for being so present because that was my number one intent. That's my number one goal, number one focus. I mean, I even asked for reflections to clear anything out that would prevent me from being 100% present. And I'm so glad I did. Um, because I really just I really soaked in every single detail. And it's really fun to look through all the content, the videos, the pictures, like all of it and relive the day because a lot of it, like you don't see as the bride and groom. You don't see your cocktail hour, your welcome table, your memorial table, our memorial ribbons for our angels at the ceremony. Like, I didn't get to see everybody walk in, right? Because I walk in last. I didn't get to see who gotta talk to who. But then when you get all the pictures back and you can see just like everybody enjoying themselves, it is it's just the best. Now, things that people say that I do not subscribe to and I I never did. One, ever since the day we got engaged, I like declared I will not subscribe to the stressed out bride narrative. If you go back to past podcast episodes, content stuff I've done, you have heard me say that I will not subscribe to the stressed out bride narrative because it's stupid. It is so stupid. And you might like people might say, like, oh, well, you know, if you have a wedding planner, like that's different, blah, blah, blah. Okay, here's the other thing that's not true. Sorry, it's just not. Planning a wedding is not a full-time job. It does not take you 40 hours a week, week after week after month after month. It doesn't. It does not, okay, unless you are throwing some grandiose thing, which guess what? Then you're hiring a planner. Okay. Now, I'm not gonna lie to you, our venue had like a built-in team of like planners, coordinators. Like they helped so, so, so, so, so much. And also, I am still the one who figured out what I wanted the tablescapes to look like, how many candles to order, how many batteries to order, how many hurricanes, how many on each table, how to set that up, uh, the pictures for the cocktail tables, for the welcome table, the guest book, the pens I wanted for the guest book, the Polaroid cameras, like the florals, what did I want for that? Obviously, my dress, the bridesmaids' dresses, the like I still did every single detail. Yes, I had help. And also I planned this wedding by just working on it on like Sunday nights. Okay. So if anybody tries to scare you and tell you it's a full-time job, just no, it's not. Okay, I'm just gonna give it to you straight. And if anybody here disagrees, that's fine. We can disagree, but that was not my experience. And I think it's silly to scare people by telling them that that's how it's gonna be. Okay. Um, what else? It truly is the best day ever. Like, I just, oh my gosh. Like, I there are no words. I know I just keep saying that, but there aren't. Like when you feel it, you know. And it's just, it's a really, really special day that holds so much emotion. And like I said, I'm still like just still crying about it like every day. But we're about to leave for the honeymoon, so we will be in our honeymoon bubble. When this drops, we will be in transit. I don't know where we're gonna be. We're gonna be in an airplane somewhere.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_00Time is gonna get real weird because we are going far. Um, but yeah, it's just everything. It was everything, it was perfect. I wouldn't change a single thing, and I genuinely mean that. I was surrounded by the best people, the best vendors and team. Um, everybody was so sweet to me, took the best care of me. Like, I just have to pat myself on the back because shout out to my creator field for having such a perfect day and attracting truly the best of the best people. I have written everybody raving reviews on like four plus platforms. I'm like, send me all your links. I will copy and paste the same review. Like, when I tell you I truly had the best of the best hair girl, best of the best makeup girl, best of the best day of coordinator, best of the best team at that venue, like ceremony site next to the freaking ocean, dude. Like, oh my gosh. Just everything, everything was so amazing and beautiful and perfect. And I said this on my Instagram story like last week, or maybe it was earlier this week, but the biggest thing that I want you guys to know, I don't care if you're already married or you're trying to call in your person or you're planning a wedding or you just had it, like if you've already been married and you you don't feel like your day went this perfectly, okay, we can do some shifting around that to see how it actually did go perfectly. If you haven't, if you're single or you are engaged, or you haven't gotten married yet, I want you to know that like this type of wedding day magic is so beyond available to you. And again, if you've already had your wedding, what's most important is yes, we can rewire how you saw your wedding. But secondly, it's this unconditional love in your relationship. If you're in a relationship right now and you're like, dude, it's a little rocky, it's not how I want it to be. I'm telling you, there are ways, there are very high-frequency ways for you to access this deep, pure, unconditional love. And when I think about it with Mac and I, like, I do not take it for granted for a single second. I also don't think that, like, I I kind of hate the the concept of like, well, marriage is hard work. What do you mean? Like, we gotta talk more about that because I it depends on the context. If you if you're saying marriage is hard work in terms of like, you know, you gotta grow together and you gotta communicate, and there's gonna be reflections that you have to navigate and you gotta have emotional mastery and communication skills, then yeah, of course. But guess what? Like, the better you get at that stuff, the easier it gets. Like, of course, there are times where you're gonna disagree with like your freaking partner. You know what I mean? But you should have sorted out all the deal breakers before you ever got engaged, right? And if you didn't, then okay, that's your journey. Now it's time to like discuss and like navigate that. And there's always a way, there's always a solution, dude. So I promise you, no matter what your relationship status is, no matter where you're at in your journey with like a romantic partner, whether you have one, you don't, you're married, you're not, divorced, whatever. I promise you, unconditional love at this deep, incredible, like there are no words for it level is available to you. And that's the biggest thing I want to share. Like, uh, I just I think I'll just leave it at that. Okay, so I could yap about the wedding forever, but there'll be plenty of posts coming. I have so much content. You guys have over 1700 photos, and it was really important for me to get every single photo, which our photographers had ready for us Monday morning, and we got married on a Friday. My content creator had everything over to me Saturday morning, less than 24 hours after the wedding. Ugh, just get ready, y'all. So that is our July reflection roundup episode. Thank you guys for being here. Hopefully, you found this helpful. If you found it helpful, please share it with anybody else that you think it would also be helpful with. And per usual, if you could leave a five-star rating and review, that would be so helpful to me to let me know you want to keep going with these because I'm down for the get down if you are down. Okay, so I adore you. Thank you so much for being here hanging out with me for another episode. And I have episodes batched for the honeymoon. So you guys are not gonna miss any episodes moving forward. I will be here next week, but it's all been pre recorded for the next few weeks. And, you know, I'm gonna catch you again in the August reflection roundup episode, whatever happens in this next month. So thank you again for being here, and I will see you in the next episode.
