This family Let's talk today about how to win 2023. And why it is so important. All right, so if you don't know who I am, my name is Brent casas, BK PT brand kasma personal training. And I would love for you guys to subscribe to my channel. I love teaching mindset, motivation, fitness, accountability, nutrition, you know, things to make you physically mentally stronger on a day to day basis. Okay, so let's get into it. All right, so 2023, what are the 2000s? Wanting to look like, at the end of the day? Was it was it successful for you? It was great. So it wasn't. Let's go. It's 2000 points, right? So here is a big, big, big scenario, right? Everybody runs into a new year, sit creating resolutions, creating goals, creating, you know, different things are going to strive for this year to make it better than the previous year in yours. Okay. So whatever it might be, whether it's you know, your physical body, whether it's your family, whether it's your finances, whatever it might be, you have a goal, that's not the first critical thing I'm talking about, though, although it's important, okay. Because you do have a goal, you do have where you want to be, it's just a matter of what it takes to get there, right? Everybody talks about these things. So you have to sit down and develop what it's going to take to get to that end goal. Okay, and break it down into a, you know, half year, quarter year, monthly, weekly, daily ordeal. Wow, that seems like a lot. But guess what, when you do this is going to create exactly what you need to do your roadmap, you wrote your plan. So this is still not what I feel like is the most important thing, even though it's highly important, okay. So the number one thing that I feel is the most important, drumroll Baby is having a do not quit will not give up attitude, okay? So you have something in front of that you want to accomplish, okay, and you have the attitude that I will not quit, I will not let myself down, I am going to get this done, then you will win. And where you fall short, or where people fall short, in general, is the fact that they're like, hey, you know what I know about the take out ahead of me, things just didn't line up, you know, so and so got sick, I wasn't feeling good. I didn't feel like getting up, I'm gonna get after tomorrow. So you have to treat it like tomorrow is not an option. This needs done. Today, you have a deadline, the deadline is today. Okay. So if you treat it like that, you will win your year, if you can imagine if you attack every day like that, how your week, how your month, how your year is going to look? Can you believe it? You will be able to achieve so much, you will be able to look back and like holy crap, I even know that I could do that. You are going to blow yourself away. That's why the do not quit do not give up attitude is I feel the most important. Okay, damn, I could stop there. I should just stop. But I'm not. I have a couple more. So stay with me. All right. So the number two thing I think people need to understand is you need to hold yourself to the highest standard. So you need to be the most critical of yourself. You need to tell yourself, you know what things should look like? how things should be and stop following and stop watching other people and other people dictating what you think the standard should be? And what's okay. If you know in your heart and you know, in your mind that it's not okay, why are you gonna let yourself do it? Raise the bar be the standard. You're only going to help influence others around you. That makes sense, really wanting to help influence others. So Yeah, makes sense. But yeah, so just that I feel like is definitely number two. So hold your standards to the highest sense success is the only option when you do these two things. So guess what the third thing is, what do you think it is? You'll realize this as the days go on. Because there's gonna be days that you're like, oh my god, I got they got they got ahead of me. And I have to do this stuff. So I told myself, I was not gonna let myself down. Now I'm doing stuff in the middle of the night. Now I'm doing stuff at a time. That's not convenient, not conducive. Not the most productive but You're doing because you aren't quick. But if you do number three, which I'm going to share with you right now, which is getting the most critical tests done getting, what is the most important, what is going to have the highest domino effect on your day on your life on your achieving your goal? done the earliest, you're gonna feel like you had the whole day ahead of you. If you get it done before 10 o'clock before 11 o'clock before noon, you're like, dang, I could just take the day off. Now, technically, you can. Because now you got freedom. Because you don't feel the stress, you don't feel like oh my gosh, I still get my workout in, I still have food, I still feel like, you know, look over my books, I still have to, you know, read XYZ, I still have to answer Elysium. Whatever you feel like is the most important thing for you, in your job in your life, in your career in your health and wellness and well being, you get done out the gate, you will feel so productive. And so emotionally free and stress free. It's going to change everything for you. So this is things that I do with the clients that I have all the time. So you know, it's funny, because all these things just like everybody just like yourself, it's January, right? So, you know, people that I work with crushing their goals every single year, exponentially. Okay, so I had this last week, I got to work with a lot of people kind of funny, because I do a lot of small group setting stuff. And I got to work with a lot of people one on one because of the fact that, you know, everybody's on vacations. It's between Christmas and New Year's, the highly vacation time. We stuck it out, we stayed around, and I got to dispense good quality time with some, you know, some of my clients, which was awesome. And, you know, we're sitting there talking, I'm talking with Scott, and I'm like, hey, you know what you crushed last year, you know, he wanted to lose 50 pounds going into his 50th birthday, you know, and we sat down, he killed it. But we wanted to hit 2023 running, right? So we're like, okay, like, this is what needs to happen, right? So if you're you lost any pals to turn 50, your next goal is to go from you know, 16% body fat to 10, then this is what needs to happen, you know, we have to have our food prepped on Sundays, right? So because that gets you at least till Thursday, Wednesday, you can make a little more food, if you have to wait till Thursday, and you can wait till Thursday, we have all them, you know, his meals planned out, we had the amount of protein, the macros, everything broke down. And then that way, he knows exactly what his week day has to look like. But then he also we break down, you know, he's gonna make all his workout sessions throughout the week. So he's gonna make all five of those. He's gonna hit between 210 and 315 minutes of cardio on a weekly basis. So it's nice, because sometimes it's like, you know what, there's days that pending on all his work calls and what who he's meeting it with in determines how many minutes he can get in that day. So we gave a weekly minute, that's kind of he can deduct off of that, right? So everybody has to have different plans to fit what is going to work in their schedule, right? So we develop that, and then we run with it. And then as you have success with it, you change it, but you have to have measurable things that you do along the way to kind of see, okay, cool. I'm on the right, on the right trajectory. So, but then it also helps to raise the bar for all those, not only around him, so you know, Warren trains with them. So now he wants he has like a certain amount of weight, he wants to bench he has a certain amount of weight, he wants to squat. And these are all gentlemen that are 50 Plus, right. So this is a huge deal. They came in they weren't worried about what they can lift they weren't worried about how they can look, they just had a simple goal. Now that they the cheese cheese this now that they have seen what is isn't can be expected from them. Now their bar rises, right? Because I believe in them. I told them because I've seen it with people in their 60s and 70s. Crush it. Why are you holding yourself back? What what is the purpose of that? Why set your goal lower or less than you think you can even achieve? You wouldn't do that to your kids. You wouldn't tell your kids guess what, man? You might think the bar is here but we need to go hadn't just set it here. So that way, you know, you can get to that. That's that's not a big deal. It's easy. You can coast actually to that, right? Not, hey, you know what you think the bars here, I'm gonna tell you the bars here. So I want you to achieve way more than you think you can achieve. I want you if you think you can get to there now I'm going to take it to the next level. So you want people in your life that are bringing you up taking you to the next level, expecting more from you, because then you're surprising yourself. Then you're like, holy crap, that wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be. These are all things that I see day to day with individuals, moms, dads, multi business owners, grandmas, Grandpa grandpa's, for that matter. New parents, single parents. Is it easier for some, maybe it all depends on your mindset, what you feel like you can do. Because you can do it. You just have to figure out and manipulate your day, your week, your month, set your critical tasks out and get them done. Right. I promise you, that's what you got to do. So if you have problems with it, reach out. Hey, Brett, you know what, I've been watching a lot your stuff, I see what you're doing. You know, this is something that I need a little help and you know, planning, reach out. Don't be scared. I'm human too. I have coaches that I hire, to help me achieve things that I fall short of. I have people in my life that keep me moving in the right direction. nobody's invincible, nobody's a machine. Nobody can do it alone. You need a tribe to survive, especially at the level that I expect of you and I expect of me. So hopefully you guys enjoyed this video. Hopefully you guys got some nuggets from it. Hopefully you guys are gonna share this with everybody in your circle. Because at the end of the day, you need to bring them up. You need to bring you up you need to bring them up. Let's raise the bar this year. Let's make America great. Let's make our world Great. Let's stop playing this victim mentality. Let's stop quitting on today and thinking that there is no tomorrow. Let's hold ourselves to the highest standards. Let's achieve greatness. Let's become better. Let's win and show everybody what living is about. Alright, I'll see you guys in the next episode.
